GoooOd morning, My O-Fam!
I am going to post this right to make sure the thread is open for you. I have been getting "Browser Error" notifications on the website with FF and it won't load properly in Chrome.
*fingers crossed this works!*
First try: Nope

Let me see if this thing is on *taps mic* and hope for the best.

So yeah, Happy Tuesday!
As predicted, it was a long day at the LLMD appt. I messed up. I thought my last appt was Dec 2023 and it wasn't. I did see her in Dec 23 and that was when she said the Lyme was back. I did a three-month course of abx, didn't feel any different, and saw her in March. Blood work showed an active infection but I felt good so I opted to not resume abx. She thinks I still have it based on some neurological signs (pupil dilation is off in one eye) and autonomic response is also off. My POTS symptoms are very noticeable to her. I mentioned that I had the 24-hour heart monitor and it didn't show anything concerning. To which she recited the diagnoses that showed up on my report and she had a really accurate account. Pfft. I have been feeling my heart racing and little "blips" but I kept chalking it up to stress.
I'll have to see what the bloodwork shows. If it is still positive --it hasn't been negative since 2022-- I have to suck it up and do something about it. It's not going away on its own and will wait for me to get sick/need surgery/ or have acute stress and bam. I'll be down for the count.
Maybe the blood work will be fine.

I am working this afternoon and we'll be learning about the layers of the deciduous forest and the plants and animals that live there.
It's still warm(ish) and dry so it should be perfect weather to be outside. Rain *should* be moving in on Thursday!!! dance3

I had trouble opening the gallery this morning so the gremlins are in there.
I hope we scared the gremlins away!!

Guess what scared me yesterday morning?

He had SAR training on Sunday and they were working with another team (don't ask the name but obv they do higher level rescue)
I texted Scott to say that I am really glad I didn't know about this beforehand! Buahahah! He said it was "awesome" and once he was over the edge, "strangely relaxing."

Hey, thanks for the tip! Mine sure needs cleaning! How about the inside? How do you clean that?
I used the same stuff- the cream cooktop cleaner. I made sure that it was all wiped off and then used a damp paper towel to get rid of any residue. If there was only a way to get the gunk off of the metal tray on the bottom...
I got caught up on my ATCs yesterday, but didn't do much of anything else. When I work on those, I spend a lot of time searching the shop with key words from my daily ATC verses to see what kits I already have on hand or need to "buy" to work with. That's why I prefer to keep them done daily so I'm not spending so much time searching!
I hear ya! Some designers are awesome with using keywords that help with the searches. Very often I spend all of my "scrap time" searching and then I don't get a chance to actually scrap.

Gotta take care of the dogs, BRB!

I was in a sad mood and wished that our family were so much closer to us! DH knew I was feeling down, so he kept out of my way and made sure that I had a coffee when needed and then helped out with getting dinner made. Poor guy, I know he misses our family too!
(((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))) Your Gary is such a sweetheart ♥
It has to be so hard to say goodbye to your kids. Christmas will be here before we know it. You are flying out there for the holidays?
Good Morning Beautiful O Fam

Chris, close youre eyes!!!!
Too late! I saw it!! We are watching The Terror on Netflix and simply watching a TV show in the Arctic makes me feel cold in my bones. Eeep!
Sunrises are pretty, glad that you appreciated them with snow. Even though I don't like the cooler weather, there is something special about the sunrise in autumn with the leaves changing.

@taxed4ever *fingers crossed that you get a good snow and ski season*

Just talked with my best buddy and she is hosting our gals Brown Bag Lunch tomorrow. It had been cancelled last week. Glad she moved it so I can actually make it this month. Missed the last 2. Now I have to decide whether I want to make a salad or a sandwich. :floorlaugh:
Have a wonderful time today! What did you decide to make?

His new lights are programmable so he can be cool year around.:woohoo:
Keep the pictures coming! So nice to see you stop in-- Love and hugs to you!!!

I tried a novel thing today at work - I punched out and ate lunch and rested for 30 minutes. I'm thinking the not doing so is part of my recent energy problem. I got home tonight not *as* tired as has been, so that's a good sign.
Good for you!!! I nag Caitlyn about the same thing-- to get out of the office for lunch, especially on the days when she has back-to-back appts. She doesn't always listen but she notices a difference when she does. PS: It is never me that she listens to -- her coworkers will drag her out of her office. One bribed her with a jar of pickles last week. LOL

:hug4:

Good Morning!
@faerywings @BoatLady I've had problems with the gallery, forums, and shop loading this morning!
Up early with DH again today. I kinda like getting the day started early! Kinda! ;)
Hopefully will hear from the mechanic about the car today. He drove it home last night to make sure it was OK. I may have Ilene take me to pick it up, if he calls, and then go back to her home after we eat.
The clouds have moved in today. Not sure if we are expecting rain or not, but if not it will miss a good chance.
The dentist appt. went pretty well yesterday. My jaws were killing me after having them stretched open for an hour! But this dentist gives you a pillow to put behind your neck, so the craning of the neck is not as bad. The numbness lasted about 5 hours.
Got my last batch of ATCs posted this morning. Still no other scrapping tackled, however. Hopefully today.
The wrists continue to get better! Thank You, Lord!
Have a great day!

Good morning ladies.
@faerywings I'm sending healthy vibes to you.

My back is sore from shoveling the driveway yesterday (first big dump of snow) but I'm ok to walk around. I will be careful about lifting for a few days until it settles down. I told D to get the snowblower machine out of the backyard shed for the next dump on Friday. I thought the light powdery snow would be ok to quickly shovel but the forward bend and then twisting is too much for my back. Lesson learned. At least the machine will be in the garage now for the winter, so easy access.

I'm heading out in a few minutes for a day of shopping with the seniors. We're heading out to a big mall on the northern outskirts of Calgary. They rented a bus for us and 4 of us will be hanging out together as we shop. Should be fun.

We are binging S02 of Mayor of Kingstown. Gritty and disturbing but very well down and I just love Jeremy Renner but the whole cast is good.

I need to get Remi out for a bit of snow play before heading out. Take care everyone.

Morning ladies... Well the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry! I got zero scrapping done yesterday and spent the entire day in the kitchen. I opened up the freezer to get out some egg bites and other things for my DH's breakfast and lunches and there was nothing in there, nada, zero!! So that was my day, baking, baking and more baking. Then SIL Linda wanted to know if I could a small favour for her, she purchased a little christmas bell ornament for Mark as a gift and asked if I could put his daughters name on it and the year from cut vinyl, so I did that after my baking, it turned out pretty good although I am not sure if the vinyl will hold on that type of metal, so far so good though.
IMG_3930.JPG IMG_3929.JPG
One charm on the bell reads "I have an angel watching over me and I call her daughter" and a second charm reads "A piece of my heart is in heaven". It would have been his daughters 40th birthday yesterday. So very sad!! Anyway I have to be quick in and out of here as I need to get to the store before our storm hits today. Apparently we are supposed to be getting a Bomb Cyclone, sounds ominous right?!! Basically it is lots of wind and a ton of rain, so goodie, we get to rake leaves and crap again :furious:. Why can't the wind blow in the opposite direction and take all of the mess out of our yard?? That's not too much to ask, is it?

Guess what scared me yesterday morning?

Glad you did not know about this before he had his training! My son and DIL used to climb a lot and not just small hills either, they used to do the "Cheif" in Squamish and I always worried whenever they did! They loved it though and I am so glad that they don't do this anymore!!
man-rock-climbing-on-squamish-chief-looking-at-camera-city-background-2BMBWA8.jpg(no this is not my son).

Sorry that you did not have the best results from your LLMD appt. Hopefully your bloodwork comes back with good results! So glad to hear that you are finally going to see some rain come your way, you sure can borrow some from us if you like! We are expecting some major flooding around here after tonight and into tomorrow. Thinking that the hike will most likely be cancelled on Wednesday.

Hope your jaw is feeling better today! I had TMJD a few years back and now the dentist has to give me a block to rest my teeth on while I am having any major work done, it sure helps me, but not sure how she likes having that darn thing in way while she works on my teeth :giggle4: Hope you get to pick up your car today and then spend a nice afternoon with Ilene!!

Hi Rae!! Wow you have snow already and more on the way? You be careful with that shovelling please!! It is nice light powdery snow out there , so different than here right?! Still you don't need to be laid up with a bad back again!! Let D do all that shovelling and snow blowing ! Have fun with your shopping today!! What is the name of the mall? I maybe have been there a few years back.

Ok I better get out to the store before the heavy rain starts, it been sprinkling all morning and now seems to be getting a bit heavier. have a great day everyone! :waving3:

Real quick in and out this morning. Shower is done and I am dressed and ready to head out for the brown bag lunch soon. I decided to make a chef salad with lettuce, celery, red and orange bell peppers, cheddar cheese, pepper jack cheese, ham, and hard boiled eggs. Taking chopped tomatoes and Ranch dressing in 2 separate lidded bowls along with some Ritz crackers. The hostess is providing drinks and another gal is bringing dessert. Looking forward to seeing all the gals again.

Yikes, @faerywings ... I am like you - glad you didn't know about Scott's SAR training until after it was done. :jawdrop3: Sorry your LLMD visit results were not what you wanted.... Keeping you and Gary in my thoughts and prayers.

@bcgal00 so glad to see you popping in again. OH... NO!!! Shoveling snow is a big NO-NO!!! Let hubby use the snowblower. You don't want to be down with your back again!!!

@taxed4ever What darling bells and love the sayings on them. Great job adding the year and name to them for SiL. I heard that the a Bomb Cyclone was heading your way. Stay inside and safe.

Gotta run. CYL

Its always fun to get on here when you all have been here and I read along and quote quote quote. I feel so happy then I see how much quoting I did and think whoa I went crazy. But yeah that's normal right? Yep.

Let me see if this thing is on *taps mic* and hope for the best.
:floorlaugh: Your live! We're listening!!! The best part of being 4 hours behind is that its all (mostly) fixed by the time I get here. I am not having issues but haven't looked at gallery yet.

I was told I have POTS too. My daughter has a rough time with the dizzy part. She taken to eating SO much salt, just short of a salt lick. I'm sorry the appointment didn't go as you had hoped. But I agree its time to fix it now before your body says "all stop" and makes you do something. I hope whatever they decide is an easy to do fix.
Sunrises are pretty, glad that you appreciated them with snow. Even though I don't like the cooler weather, there is something special about the sunrise in autumn with the leaves changing.
Sunrises at the cold temps are the BEST! Everything is so clean and clean lines. Fog over the water. Just brilliant. I dont wanna leave my house early in the morning but I wish someone else was driving today so I could have taken photos.
Hopefully will hear from the mechanic about the car today. He drove it home last night to make sure it was OK.
I hope its all fixed!!! Hope this is free too since its related to what they were suppose to have just fixed!

@faerywings - God do I know those feelings!!! Mike did two things at work where if I had known he was going to do them I would have been worried sick about him!! So glad it all worked out.

I am struggling with my lifestyle changes. SPecifically food. I'm great with all the other stuff, and exercise is just like brushing my teeth. I just do it and actually enjoy it. Funny story:

I love to walk as my exercise, and usually I can walk about 3-3.5 mph and go at least 30-45 minutes, but when I would try to walk on the treadmill at the gym, I couldn't get past 10 minutes and my heart rate shot up to over 120! I was absolutely STUMPED as to why that was happening. It was like the treadmill was so tight I had to push down hard on my feet to get it to move. Well... With this machine, you have to set it at a MPH or it will start out at .5 mph. Yes, 1/2 a mile per hour. I set it to go 3 mph and when I did that - I did 30 minutes like nothing. My heart rate only shot up to 110 at the highest. So...apparently the problem the entire time was that I had the TM on too slow!!! Yesterday I did a combo of 3, 3.5, and running at 4mph for 45 minutes! Yay me - but boy was I embarrassed!

@BrightEyes that salad sounds amazing!! I do one with strawberries, dried cranberries, honey almonds, chicken strips, celery, and balsamic vinegarette dressing. I might try yours!!!

@AK_Tracy -5??? I won't complain about freezing at 54 degrees last night. LOL!!

We got up to 5 today! Woo hoo! Moving up! But now we will go back down as the sun is set.
