Flipping the calendar to November is horrible! :ranger: Caitlyn is full on getting ready for Christmas and is calling today December -30th. hahaha!
She likes Christmas as much as, if not more than Halloween and November is just a cold and bleak month for us summer girls. Not as bad as January and February, but still yucky.
For me, I cannot get over that it is November, this year is flying by at warp speed.:brick:
I am kinda freaked out! My dad's birthday is next week, the following week is his fire department dinner, then two weeks after that is Thanksgiving, the week after that is the Faery-Wings Open House. It is going to be an interesting ride. *wink*
Gary's set up was just incredible last night. It kills me that we don't get tons of trick or treaters on our street but he gets a good audience on FB. Cait got home from class early and asked if we could get pumpkins. No one else wanted to go but we went over to the garden center where Scott works and got 2 very nice pumpkins. They recognized Caitlyn (or me, who knows?) as being family to Scott so we got his discount too. Got home, put on some Halloween Pandora station and had a blast. We were so happy to do it too.
She was cracking me up too, she had on one of her witchy dresses on, a witch hat, and her rats on her shoulders as her familiars when she answered the door. At dinner time, we walked down to my friend's house. She had so much leftover that I asked if she was going to be throwing the food out, can I get a bit before she does? So we trick or treated our way down the street at our neighbors' houses, got some food and headed back home.
Only us, right?? LOL
Today my mom is coming up to see if I can find something to wear for the dinner. We have a new TJ MAXX in town so we will stop by there first. I hate clothes shopping. I really do. And the lighting, what is *up* with that? Store lighting is horrendous.
Anyway, that is it for me. Prepare yourselves for lots of complaining about cold weather ahead
Love and hugs and all good things to you!
