goooOOOd morning, lOvely Os!

How are you all today? I am so excited for the great weather we have coming up the next few days- 60-70*F!!!!!Yeah bay-beeeee! It felt warmer out in the sun yesterday than it was in the house. Cait walked home from the bus stop and said that it felt nice too.

I texted my client and she called back to say yes she wanted me to clean and that she was emailing me a list. This is what I did yesterday:

  • Mopped the basement floor
  • Sliced a cooked turkey breast
  • cleaned the top shelf of her fridge
  • clean sheets on her bed
  • started sweeping out her garage
Pretty eclectic set of jobs, eh? :)
Didn't bother me at all, walked out of there with a couple of extra bucks.

I got my appt with the school for Thursday. It really stinks that we have to do this, but it is what it is. Dropped Cait's car back off at the shop b/c the belt is still squealing. (Nancy- you are so lucky to have your son!!!!) Then took Cait to the GI dr and we were only there for <1 hour. He asked Cait about her symptoms, how long it was going on etc. He wants her to have an endoscopy which flipped her out. He wants to test her for Celiac Disease. That flips *me* out b/c if she has to cut out wheat/gluten from her diet, on top of being vegetarian- she will starve! :faint:

My gut (no pun intended) doesn't think Celiac, but back to autoimmune stuff from Lyme. But we will see... Nothing that I can do about it now until she has the test and results.

Today I am getting ready to go food shopping and some more prep work for the party here. I also havetohavetohaveto get outside today. I nnnnnneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeddddddddddddddddddd the sun!!!!

I hope that you all have a wonderful day too!

Nancy- ouch, that is a bad loss for the Devils. Some day they will get back on track and get to the playoffs. Are the def. out now?
I shouldn't laugh, but there are many many many days that I got through that same exact scenario with Gary. I will tell him something, and an hour later, he will be "What??" or "Where are you going?" ugh!
I have some of the old Freebie actions from PTM which are great so I can only imagine what her "sold" ones are like.

Trudy- it makes my heart happy to hear that you are getting blooms already! I bought some seeds for Gary to start but he hasn't yet, guess I will do that instead.
These aches and pains are making me crazy- they never seem to go away. :( But that also is what it is.
 so we all have hubby's who only hear :blah:

Rae- stupid question for you, but do you have a technique for washing off the dogs after they play on puddles? Ray was never one for puddles or mud. We would take her on walks and she would gingerly step around them. Jaida on the other hand is a maniac! Loves the mud and our front lawn is all mud ATM. Dog park is the same.
How fun for Taz and Ava to play so much. You must be so happy! Getting paid to watch dogs play :)
Dogs make me happy- Cait and I spent the time in the waiting room scrolling through #dogsofinstagram, and my Text Sample for fonts is "I <3 Puppies." An old client of mine would write "Puppies" in the memo section of her checks to me and for other bills. Figured it might make someone smile- and it always worked for me. :pupkiss:

The pressure cooker sounds really cool. I bet Cait would love a rice cooker here but there is no room in my tiny kitchen. She loves brown rice and could live on brown basmati and broccoli.
Hope that your day was not too busy.

Off to the Gallery, to leave some love there!

xoxo

good morning - Chris I totally agree the sun yesterday was so much warmer. Love it! Too funny to hear your DHs have memory problems too! I have to go grocery shopping today and I am not looking forward to it but the sooner done the better LOL! Got in two good walks with Luther. My DH said the morning Luther was not ready for his walk as my DH was up an hour early and he is sleeping now but I am sure when my son leaves he will be ready for his walk. Got some scrapping done!

Chris so glad the wait at the doctors was not too bad. I find it hard to believe that the high school is still giving you and Cait such a hassle about her health - she has been there for 4 years. Have they learned nothing.

Trudy I hear you about seeing blooms. Yesterday on the walk I saw crocus. Now I know spring is coming!.

Rae I will be interested too to know how you get those dogs clean after puddle jumping! That pressure cooker sounds almost too good to be true.

Have a great day all!

Morning everyone from sunny Los Angeles!! We're waiting for our plane to Honolulu - we board in about 45 minutes. :) Looking forward to seeing my Mum this afternoon - was weird talking to her on Saturday, as we closed the conversation with, "See you Tuesday ..." like I was just down the road or something. LOL

Discovered something on this trip: Stan snores louder than Bill!! Oh Boy!! At least after tonight I'll be in a room with my Mum and the boys will have their own room ... they can both snore to their little heart's content! LOL

Hope everyone is doing fine - haven't had a chance to check on the past couple of days' messages ...

Good morning, ladies. Another rainy day here and colder today so need to bundle up for the dog walk in a few hours. I've got leftover pork loin and brown rice so need to find a recipe for dinner tonight that's fast and easy, using these up. I'll head over to pinterest in a bit. Today is work, laundry (never got around to it yesterday) and working on the post for my birthday game that's coming up this weekend.

Chris - I started Taz off in the tub as soon as we got him. For the first few days, I put treats in the tub and put him in to get them. By day two he was jumping in to get them himself. Then after that I put in an inch of water, put him in and gave him treats and toys to make it fun. Now he has no problem getting in a tub with a 3 inches of water to get the dirt off. I run the shower head with a light spray to get his belly and just use a large plastic measuring cup to splash around his legs and belly. He doesn't mind at all.

Kat - how wonderful that you trip has started! Have fun!

Nancy - yay for getting some scrapping done!

Off I go now, want to get some work done before heading out to get Ava later this morning. The rain has stopped for now and hope it stays this way until after our walk. They are still forecasting rain for a few days so this break won't last forever. Fingers crossed. Have a great day, everyone!

Morning ladies... my second time up this morning :mmph: I was awake at 4am, but did not post here. I was busy looking for some new dining room chairs to match my very old but soon to be refinished table and hutch. Man finding chairs that I like is going to be a real challenge!! Tried to go back to sleep after making breakfast for DH and myself, but my feet were freezing and I just could not get back into a deep sleep. Perhaps I will try again later this morning

What I really need to do is to get back into swimming, but I just don't have the energy to do it today!

Chris - I sure hope that you manage to get out into the sunshine today!! It really does wonders for a person!! I really hope that the Dr. can get to the bottom of Cait's stomach issues, it must be so awful for her to deal with! Your list of things to do for your neighbour was quite eclectic!! But it was interesting and nice that you came out of there a few $$ richer!! Lots of catching up for me to still do here at the O! I never seem to have enough time to get the pages done that I want to. Yesterday I ended visiting with my sister who is now off work for week, I haven't seen her for quite a while and its nice that she has some days off!!

Nancy - Luther is going to have to get up earlier to get his walk in with your DH! Hope you and Luther enjoy a nice walk in the sunshine today!! Hooray for the Crocus blooms coming out! I love this time of year when everything starts over new and fresh!

Kat - Lucky you on your way to Hawaii!! I hope you have a lovely trip and that you don't have to listen to snoring anymore :becky: You must be so excited to see your Mother again!! Enjoy!!

Rae - Sounds like we are in for 5 more days of storms and rain!!

You will be busy wiping up muddy paws for the next while!!

Well DD is trying to FaceTime with me, so I better get moving!! Hope you all have a lovely day!!
