A big sigh of relief this morning, the spasms are on their way out and now I am left with the stiff and soreness that comes after. That I can live with. (Good thing or I would have been dead decades ago heh!!) I was able to spend time between sitting and lying down with some "walks" around the LR to loosen up a bit. I heard that I missed a fabulous day outside. My friend across the street asked if I wanted to walk with her and Gary took a picture of my crocuses. I am bummed that could be out there too. But spring is just beginning so there will be plenty of time to do enjoy it.
Yesterday was more of the same as the day before. I finished the little kitten bucket although I don't like the way the top edging came out. It was a crab stitch (single crochet stitch but going left to right) and it came out very uneven. I think I am going to pull out that row and either try again or see if there is a different edging stitch that might work better. If any of you crocheters have suggestions or advice, I am all ears and fingers.

Today I am going to go with Caitlyn to her vax appt. We don't think she is going to have an issue but with her kooky allergies, it makes sense to be on hand if anything goes weird. She has her EpiPen with her always and thankfully, hasn't had to use it. We are all so excited for her. How silly is that?? Scott has to meet with someone from the County today to fill out some paperwork for his job. So excited for him too. The only other "big" thing is to finalize my shopping order for tomorrow. (and dinner. again. why do I hate cooking dinner so much.)
The best part of today is going to be here at the O-Party!

Group hugs!!

My goodness, I need to do a better job proofreading what I write here, how can any of you understand a word I say?
Huge improvement River yesterday
I hope you understood that River was supposed to be "over"

@taxed4ever I am with you, I have no idea what do it is. I go to bed telling myself what day it is and will be, wake up and it's all messed up. Yesterday I thought it was Saturday. Today I thought it was Monday. [doh]
Were you able to get the tree cut back without the neighbors noticing? I have this image of you and your Gary tiptoeing around, dressed in all black, with the chainsaw. LOL Hope that you had a nice time enjoying the fresh air and sunshine.
Thanks for looking around about how to add smilies. My [smilie] isn't the same hah!
My hair takes about a day to dry on its own and if I put it into a bun while it is wet, it will be wet underneath at least for an extra day or so. If I let it dry on its own, I can't brush it either or it goes *poooooof* I don't mind it wet in the summer but in the winter it is just a pain. I had cut my hair in 2019- about 5" but now that I haven't had it cut in over a year, I want to keep it long again... My Gary will eat just about anything too, but the "kids" are a different story.

@Cherylndesigns How are you doing today, dear member of Heat Pack Anonymous? Hope that you aren't stiff anymore.
Ava is amazing, she never stops, does she? I am in AWE! She is 100% correct, you can do it.
Oh wow, the hotspot is horrible for you... seems like it is getting worse. Is the wind supposed to die down soon? Wait, you live in OK, does it ever die down or is that just a myth about it being windy all of the time? The NJ myth of saying you are from Joisey, I have never heard anyone say that. I do pronounce coffee like caw-fee but never, ever Joisey.

@felis-Lovely and snow do not belong in the same sentence in my opinion. :D I am happy that you are enjoying it. I would have loved to see the photo of the kitty in the snowy tree but I am like you, I rarely take photos anymore. It isn't like I am going anywhere to take pictures and the dogs are always moving so they end up blurry. Not to mention, my house usually a mess and no one needs to see that in the background.

Another quick in and out today. Still having health issues so resting, reading and napping is how I spend my days right now. So sorry that I am missing out on the fun Birthday games and challenges.

Healing wishes to Chris and Cheryl.

Morning ladies... It is very chilly and very foggy out there this morning! Fresh snow on the mountain tops and I really should go and check the hummingbird feeder to see if it needs to be warmed up. It will be a sunny day once all the fog disappears, so the power washing will begin soon! We got all the branches cut down yesterday and no complaints from anyone, so hooray! It looks so much better and my plants will like it more also as they will be getting a lot more sunlight! Perhaps it will even help with all the moss that we get in our lawn every winter? Who knows. We are both a bit stiff and sore from all of that work yesterday, but we are so happy to have it done! Good thing that my Gary used to work in the woods and knows what he is doing when cutting down all those big branches, not one plant got damaged. I even found enough time to get my page finished and posted here and I hope to work on another today! Should be getting a face time call from Heather and Hunter soon so I will try to get this done quickly!

@faerywings - I saw your page you did for the Age is just a number challenge and I just love it!! You are one of a kind my friend! Had to giggle over your image of my Gary and myself sneaking around our backyard dressed in black! Hard to inconspicuous when you are running a chainsaw LOL. It all went well and we are happy to have that job done! Wow you really must have thick hair for it to take that long to dry! Nice that you can put it up in a bun though, sometimes I wish I still had long hair, but I am too lazy to take care of it. I am so happy for your kids too! Hope that Cait does not have any issues with her vaccine shot and that Scott gets his paper work all done he must be so happy to be starting work once again! I hate having to think about what to make for dinner, not the cooking itself and I am lucky that my DH usually does the dishes after, so I don't have to deal with the clean up. I really should not complain about making meals should I!!

@BrightEyes - You poor thing! This has been going on for far too long! I sure hope that you are feeling much better soon. Seems that second vaccine shot really stirred up some problems for you didn't it! Sorry that you are missing out on the birthday party, but you must take care of you!! Sending you lots of healing thoughts!

@felis - How nice that you have a fresh coat of winter white on the ground! I know how much you love your snow LOL. Love your photo of you cute kitty in the snowy branches! I hope that your snow doesn't melt too quickly, but it is spring and time for the flowers to make their appearance! Hope you are able to get some mojo for scrapping for the Birthday Party!

Ok I am off to the shower and get on with another busy day of yard work. Have a great day everyone!
