Good morning, O-Zies!!!
How are you all today? I am doing OK. Low-pain day so far, which is expected since I tend to have low pain days when I have Drs appts. It's like that noise that your car makes but stops the second you pull into the mechanic. LOL
I had a really wonderful day yesterday. My family all gave me big birthday hugs and coffee. Then my parents came up before lunch, and I opened their gifts, which was a production. I had asked for a pair of Converse sneakers, either black or pink. I ended up with three pairs- black, pink and gray. The gray pair were huge even though they were my size. But my mom had shopped and couldn't find any and then one after the other they showed up and on sale. The stories my mom tells... SMH!!
we went to this cute little restaurant on the North end of Greenwood Lake (I live at the south end) and we sat on the deck looking over the lake and at the mountains.
My dad wanted to say hi to Scott so we dropped in at his work. He looked hungry so I gave him my leftover sandwich even though he said Nah-- it's your sandwich. Silly boy.
My BFFATS was home so I stopped in and chatted with her for a bit and as I was walking back to my house, Scott was pulling out of the driveway so I asked where he was off to the Drs. He shot a staple into his arm at work and needed a tetanus shot. Never dull.
dinner was yummy and Caitlyn was home too, so if felt great having my family surrounding me.
Today I have an appt with my LLMD and I have to get ready for food shopping tomorrow. Hopefully, the Dr appt won't be too long, it is just for me although Gary is coming along so he can help me remember what I need to remember.
Tip on Tuesday:
Be sure that when you use a staple gun, that the points shoot outward. ha!!!!!!
