Happy Birthday Chris and Sue- Hope your days are wonderful. If you haven't seen the thread, Chris would love for us all to do something we love today, photograph it and let her know! I am not sure, but believe mine will involve my garden after work! So I have had my walk and now must get about my busy day, hope yours goes well!

I have gotten so much wonderful feedback from my wish and it really makes me happy inside. You know I will be there in sopriti in your garden. And if you decide to relax for a bit in your hot tub with some wine afterward- that would be so awesome too


I have to say this new morning routine is weird for me, I guess it will take a while to get it together. I am working this mronign with Cait and then we are going to head to the lake in the afternoon. Cait is cooking my dinner (spaghetti with garlic and fresh basil, yum!). Good day all around!!!

Gary's dr appt was yesterday, and now has to go for a biopsy. The dr said that he has to rule out cancer, but even if it is, is highly curable. So what the hell does that mean? Good, bad? I don't know. This is one area (prostate) I have no experience with! LOL

So other than that, same old, same old in my home.

Tip on Tuesday:

Good morning ladies! Laurie, what a beautiful tribute to our dear Chris with your opening post today.

Chris, I am so sorry to hear that poor Gary has yet another medical procedure to add to his list. He is such a strong guy...and your strength...well Superman has nothing on the two of you. Hope the biopsy can be scheduled quickly! And I'm thinking about how I can celebrate your day...really taking this to heart!

Donna, heard that it was hot down your way yesterday! We are supposed to reach 100's tomorrow and Thursday. Eeek...not ready! And you need to get the 100's out of there before I get there at the end of July!

sorry to hear about Gary's biopsy. ANY procedure is not a pleasant thing. but take heart about that apparently equivocal comment by the doc. it's a good thing, even it he gets news he doesn't want to hear. it's curable. that's the thing.

Donna and Londa, don't you DARE send me 100-degree temps! i think i'd better have a look at the extended forecast. i'm getting used to this 72 degrees and breezy. the wind was SO odd here yesterday. it was ABSOLUTELY exactly like the Mistral in France. blowing all day, all the time. the Mistral sort of got on my nerves when we were then, but i was kind of LIKING the winds here yesterday. i guess the thing is that it only lasted for a DAY here.

today, more grocery shopping for the stuff i FORGOT yesterday, then a trip to WalMart for a giant vat of cat litter. then i'm going to make some French Onion Soup for dinner. the temps are going to be cool again, and perfect for SOUP!
