Holy cow, it is COLD!!!!!! 48*. Yes, that is Fahrenheit. at the end of June. WTH??? This weather is wacky!
Well, the sun is out and it should get into the upper 70's which will be nice when it happens, but I am going to be shivering until then. ;)

I was able to get to the FP and to the vet yesterday. The tech that I spoke to also has a cat with kidney disease and understands the issues of doing the fluids for him. She said to take a break, try again in a few days. In the meantime, I will be making sure that he gets extra liquids through his diet. He and Ray have appts on Monday so maybe we will be able to figure something else to try.

Today I am off to lunch with my parents, Caitlyn, and *fingers crossed* Gary. Scott and Leah will be here for dinner.

All good things!

Have a super day!

:parisNancy- It was such a gorgeous weather day yesterday, wasn't it? I swept the patio, took W for a short walk, and sat outside for a half out with BFFATS in the sun. W is sure getting spoiled with her walks every day with Gary. He wasn't up to it yesterday and she was practically begging him anyway. I took her a little later and she was so happy. :)
We had really bad t-storms on Sunday night. One second it was sunny and fine, next it was so crazy. Scott stopped at the reservoir on the way home from work to take the rowboat out and fish for a bit. He got stuck in the middle of it, and it looked like he went overboard, he was so drenched. Thanks for the compliments on the photos!

Trudy- sending hugs to you -- I cannot imagine how hard it is to say goodbye to the kids. You are 100% entitled to wander around being sad. I know that I would be too. Maybe today you will feel a bit better and can start looking forward to your trip!!:paris
Haha!! Cait was so good at "dancing" with the Green Man. That girl makes me LMBO. Enjoy your day with your sisters!

Rae- Good luck with the new schedule. It might be good to keep busy at the beginning of the week. My hair? My hair is a *mess!* I straightened it fo the party, but it was humid so I ended u with waves. If I let it dry naturally- it is a big poofy mess. I would love to have straight hair.

Jean- how nice to see the deer relaxing in your yard. Neat learning something new at the DNA class, even if DH forgot it already LOL

Felis- you are too sweet! Thanks for being excited about my birthday
I love the idea of leaving books out in the birdhouses, but I can see how it could be abused easily. Hopefully it will work.
I used to be very organized and disciplined, now I am nothing but chaos.

I am off to take the puppies outside, ::grouphug

Happy Birthday Chris! And many many more!

good morning the day is gorgeous! Low humidity and 70s. But the heat will be here this weekend with temps in the 90s and a probably a heat wave. Until then though Luther and I are enjoying this lovely weather. Last night (I do wonder about my son and DH) Luther was barking at some animal. It is 1am and I am the only one who hears him. Really. I don't mind if he barks before 11pm but after that it is just rude. So I come downstairs to find lights on in the kitchen and back porch and living room. No wonder Luther is protecting us, he thinks he should be up. I get Luther turn off the lights and shut the door to the backyard and tell him to go to sleep. Of course now I am awake. It took a while to go back to sleep. Yet when I asked the boys this am why the lights were on neither had any clue. Boys lol! Got the grocery shopping done and made mac and cheese for dinner. Yummy!

Chris loving the weather and sounds like today will be a wonderful day with family. Sure hope Gary can go. That is wonderful he is walking W. I am sure he begs for walks Luther is the same way! Again happy birthday.

Trudy sounds like a wonderful and sad weekend. I would be in a funk too! But it will be nice for the cousins to have some time together. Wow two weeks and off to Paris. That is so exciting! I cant wait for photos and scrap pages from the trip!

Rae I like the idea of being busy early in the week and then less as the week progresses. I hope this works well for you! Sending good thoughts to you and B and family!

Jean how fun to see deer! I guess for me it is to see nature in a suburban area same for all the birds I see. Always fun to learn something new.

Felis we have these "Little Libraries" in our town, in fact there are 2 that I pass on my walks with Luther. And I think they do really well and so far no one has messed with them and the books do change. One seems more for kids while the other more for adults. I hope yours does well. I think it is a great idea! Keep scrapping!

Have a great day all!

Good morning, ladies. Got to get to work but wanted to pop in and say hi. Got all my work done yesterday but it sure was busy. Today will be a little lighter load but still busy, especially as I need to finish up by late afternoon so we can go up to the hospital.

Just finished taking muffins out of the oven, did dishes and got a load of laundry in. Now I can concentrate on work for the morning.

Chris - have a wonderful time with your family. By the way....you can have my straight hair anytime LOL. I have always wanted curls!

Everyone else....hope you have a great day. Hopefully I'll be around a bit more tomorrow to read all the personals.

Off I go to work. Have a great day!

Beautiful sunny day here but expecting thunderstorms tomorrow and a dreaded heat wave by Saturday. Weather always interesting!

Chris, hope you relax and let everyone put on the party for your birthday and that all the plans come together. And the Paradise Lost LO is exquisite while potentially sad too.

Felis, there is one of those book boxes near me, but somewhere I only drive by, not walk, so have never seen what it's like but it's been there quite a while. Hoping yours work well too!

Nancy, how strange the "boys" can't turn out lights or hear Luther bark. At least you can't blame the dog.

Rae, you had so much done already before starting "work" you really are amazing with organization and concentration. Hoping for a good visit to B.

Trudy, hope you aren't lost wandering in the house but out getting some sun.

Brrr! So cool, now I see for what Chris was talking about! You can laugh on me, but yesterday at the early evening it was perfect for my new autumn jacket, with t-shirt under it, but still, so unusual freaking chilly. I think the rain make is to feel this way. And the contrast between this and the hottest just few day before. I'm worried for the animals, of course! But personally I like this weather.
And it was just a lovely day! I don't know why but the others birthdays makes me festive, instead my own which is mostly melancholic time for resume. I was thinking much about the past and future. And I also try to make some space in my life and house.
So I have a question to you: do you write diary and how long keeps them after that?! I found it for very therapeutic, but I stopped before few years and now have this old bunch of memories and I'm wondering what to do with it? Maybe it will be helpful someday when I'm strict granny to remind myself how foolish, reckless, and 'the world is running around the love' teenager I was, just to not judge our descendants. But really what's the point to keep memories how you are feels at romantic relationship which is ended, or on job which you are quit so long ago? At the same time, I can't with easy hand just to left on the garbage something I'm created so many nights, and with many tears.
So all yours experience and opinions are welcome! Please share!

Trudy, come here immediately! You can cry to us, complaint or whatever you want, but don't stay alone at empty house, at self-pity mood! :nono: Another scraping mojo secret from me: I take lyric I love and scrap and cry ;), cry and scrap till start to feels better. :boink: https://youtu.be/Ez68BZ2_6yw

Chris, I'm curious to hear how the bday was and did Gary managed to come to the lunch?! :sigh: You know my opinion about Floyd  !

Nancy, this is another culture difference. Here after dark we just left dogs to barks. The night belongs to them, at least, after humans are occupied the whole space and rules. You are so brave or reckless to go to the backyard door alone. What if there was some thief?!

Rae, Congrats for the excellent organisation of your day! And I hope you'll have nice visit with B!

Jean, hope this thunderstorms to pass you or at least to not be serious! The book boxes was very interesting, and as Nancy is described them, here also one seems more for kids while the other more for adults. We left about 20 books (actually my sis I give only 2 of them) and get one, it seems fair to me ;) . I'm skeptical about that, because I'm obsessed from the idea for the residual energy of the previous owner of subjects. But my sister don't care, because she is minimalist and recyclation is her credo. She blame me, and I know it's true, that we can't live truly eco if not restrict our consumption of materials. But my ex pagan nature is more sensitive about the energy than her modern trends.

Ok, I better to go now. Have a lovely day you all, no matter rain or shine!
