Yes, Virginia, it really is Tuesday.

I can't believe that I typed Friday. That's not true, I CAN believe it. Its just sad that I didn't have a clue.... ;)

Who has some sun they want to share with us over here in NJ???? It is still raining. It has rained so much this spring. I can't take it! My MIL came back from Ireland yesterday and said that it didn't rain there at all. Tour guide said that it rains all the time there typically. Guess we swapped weather!

Not much going on here, work, rain, trying to figure out what to make for dinners.... :D I found a recipe for a toffee bottom brownie on Pinterest that i think I might make for the dads. Next step, cards and packaging.

Tip on Tuesday:
Don't browse pinterest when you are hungry!

Linda S- Thanks for catching my "Friday! :D I don't know how you do it all! But good for Syd and soccer. Must be so cool to watch her in action. Good luck with the packing and stuff. I'd say to have Brian and the kids do it for oyu but that might be an even bigger stressor!

Laurie- hope you are wearing a cheery shirt again today if you have the same weather as us. That is weird about the people walking on the fields, I'd be wary too.

Nancy- I hate this rain too! Hope it wasn't too bad when you went out for groceries. That will be me tomorrow.

Trudy- I am so glad that things are better today. I think a lot of men feel that they do the 9-5 routine and think that then they are done when they get home. Big transition into parenthood, right? Hugs to you and that baby boy!!! I can't wait for you to get home and get scrapping pics of him!!!!!

Sally- you are so amazing, and so is Q! You must be so proud of him.

Meagan, that banquet sounds delish!!!! And the wedding, gah!! That is HOT!!!! The poor bride and groom too- can't imagine being in a dress and tux.

gotta run.....

xoxoxoxoxo!!!!!

ok. i'm really back now. we got home on Sunday, and i just looked at all the unpacking and said :nope...." after driving for 9 hours and basically working all "vacation week" with feeding people and laundry, i wasn't in the mood to walk in and beginagain. so yesterday was part unpacking, part going over to DD's apartment with Hubby to disassemble some of her furniture for her move. i'm just taking everything slow and easy. and the constant RAIN over here is getting to me, too, Chris!!
i feel out-of-sorts.
cranky and...well, cranky! :mmph:

i really have to think of a vacation that I want to take for next year. i guess we could go to the beach for Hubby, but i want to go someplace I WANT TO GO, too!!!

ok. on to more unpacking and laundry. hope the sun is shining where YOU are. no hope for that here!!!

morning O fam - we should be getting sunny weather today- and I will be inside. But I think we got .5 inch of rain which will be good for the berries I just planted. Hoping for sunshine where you are today!

Good morning. We are going to do a day of HOT (90) and sunny today. Then we get rain for two days. Oh boy.

Phylis, I don't blame you with the unpacking stuff. Although I am in charge of all trip planning and packing, The minute we get home, Brian begins unpacking and will even do the washing. I have been known to take a nap while he gets laundry done. Got to love that in a man!

Off to work. Hope you all have a great day!

Still no rain here, I believe we'll get some on Thursday. It's warm and sunny again :)

Good luck with dinner Chris, I did'nt have to cook yesterday or today, so that's for days in a row, I only have to heat it, I could get used to that :)

After such a long drive I wouldn't unpack right away too Phylis, good luck with the unpacking you have left and the laundy!

Last weekend we were practicing with Nik how to ride a bike without training wheels and it went pretty good, so I thought this morning to see if I could find a cheap used bike for him and just now when I was at school to bring the kids there a neighbours said he had a bike we could have, if I was interested ..... :biggrin1: . So I'll pick it up later this afternoon and get DH to fix and clean it up a bit and we have a happy Nik (and mom ;) )

Good morning - so far we are having a mix of sun and clouds in my area of NJ. Thunderstorms this afternoon. And just as I got home from the grocery store the rain let up and it was only a drizzle so I was able to get the bags in and not get wet! But then the rains came and they did not stop until early morning. It was just amazing to hear and see all that rain! What a funny movie last night with my son and DH as there is no hockey LOL- we watched The Guilt Trip. It was funny and touching at the same time. We all liked it a lot. Dinner turned out well so that too was good.

Phylis welcome back. And yes you should go somewhere you would like to go for a vacation. It sounds like everyone else might have been on vacation but you. Guess that is a grandma's life LOL.

Trudy lucky forward to hearing how the shower went. Glad that the new dad is starting to pitch in a bit more. I dont think anyone is prepared for how much work a baby is even when all a baby does it eat and sleep LOL. I am sure your daughter is so glad you are there!

Sally that is so exciting about your Quentin! That should be an amazing experience!

Meagan that was a lot of amazing stuff - hopefully you had help!

Angela riding a bike is such fun and especially when you lose those training wheels.

Have a great day all!
