GooOd morning! Happy Tuesday to all of you. I am happy dancing on the inside, the weather is gorgeous!! I can't wait to be out in my yard this afternoon.

I survived the long day yesterday. So much driving- and I was only in the podiatrist office, waiting room to checking out, for a total of 20 minutes. I have to go back in 4 weeks and maybe that will be it. The PT said that he can tell that my ankle is starting to get stronger. My balance still sucks but I don't think there is any amount of exercise that will improve that. :pound: All I can think is how Caitlyn was so great at gymnastics and her favorite equipment was the balance beam. Me, I can't stand on both feet without swaying.

Food shopping this morning and then the rest of the day outside. That isn't too bad!

Enjoy your days!!

Felis- I love the hotness and I have no problem sweating my butt off outside. I hate it though when I have makeup on or need to be somewhere and look "presentable." I am also amazed that the year is half over!

Trudy- How was the BBQ/party with the ILs yesterday? I hope you didn't crash and burn-- BTDT! haha! I bet you are getting soooo excited to have kids with you and to have them for so long.

Kay- I hope that the weather cools off for you a bit. It has been hot here and even Caitlyn has put her AC on. It is mainly for the rats, however. She likes it hot but always worries about her babies. That is great news about the bush coming back to life! yay!!

Cute rat story to share-- I made banana bread for the dads and used the leftover batter to make muffins for the family. Cait ate half of a muffin for dessert and wanted to give the girls a bite. She put the muffin in the cage so they could bite off what they wanted and OMG, they were just shoving as much as they could into their mouths- they don't have pouches like gerbils so I was shocked how much they could fit in there. Then they were scurrying back and forth to get more muffin and Tat tried to hoard her's under her fleece scraps. Cait and I were laughing so hard that Gary came upstairs to see what was going on.

Oh-- and little Livvie is a naughty rat. She learned how to jump off of Caitlyn's bed and onto a stuffed animal next to it so she can escape onto the floor.. :nono:

hahaha, Trudy, my first thought about my yesterday post and the Instagram celebrities's topless photos, was the same. I'm terrified how many nasty comments from sick men will bring this. But the big picture is more important. First of all it's extremely hot and everybody sunbathing. So the girls use it to send message for confidence and self love no matter of age and your body shapes. Dominique said: ''Breastfeeding two babies definitely changed them, but I’m slowly learning to love them.'' And Angelica is wrote: "Ah yes ... we women have boobs. Incredibly, every woman, even though she is a tits-gifted woman, can also be endowed with other talents, one thing does not exclude the other. Crazy. But the most important thing is that tits can feed baby puppies for many months. I don't know if I explain myself, it's an incredible stuff. Hurray for their sanctity, whatever shape and size they have." And she makes a reference to Romulus and Remus, because she is Italian. The photos are very stylish, and I love them. As a woman who's been rejected because of her small boobs, for me is very important to see girls as Keira Knightley and Alicia Vikander celebrating their bodies. But mostly my mom in monokini on a beach is mine best example to not let one opinion to let me down, there is always another. Oh, yeah and we are European and daughters of Brigitte Bardot, after all ;) .

Trudy, have fun with the kids and collect many precious moments and some photos! I'm sure it will be lovely time and hope weather to cooperate!

Kay, it's a wonderful news about the bush/tree you must take some photos of it and scrap it! I would love to see it and this story for the trouble beginning will be nice little journal block. My mom told something similar to you, that from cold we jump directly in hotness and she couldn't enjoy to nice weather. (I'm not agree as we had lovely rain period, but she feels it this way.)

Chris, I'm happy that party was such a success, but it was totally expected! Ouch, so much traveling between the appt must be more exhausting than than they themselves. At least results sounds good! Enjoy your day outside! Aww, the rat story is really cute! I wish you was made video of it!

Did Nancy is in Alaska right now?!

Boring regular day here. Hope you have more fun! Wish you lovely day! :choclove

Chris, as far as I'm concerned, you can have the heat, please take it. It isn't even that hot here yet but so humid that I feel it. After two perfect days, Sunday and last Tuesday, I'm missing them. In a bit I'm off across town to the monthly board meeting for the computer genealogy group. The group doesn't meet in July and August, so this is mostly year end reporting and planning for the coming season.

Chris, it's amazing how quickly PT can begin showing results. Just keep it up and the ankle will improve. There are exercises to help with balance, but they won't get you up on a balance beam. :pound: The rat story is precious, what did Gary make of the scene? Yeah, a video would be cute, but much better to just being in the goofy moment.

Felis, your explanation and comments about the photos make it all seem very different and nice. Interesting that you and your mother have different memories of the progression of the season to the current hot. It is July and to be expected though I understand Europe is getting unprecedented heat now.

Hope everyone, wherever, is having a good one.

good late morning - well I have quite a story. I still don't know what the true cause is - on Friday night the right side of my tongue felt numb, the Sat. on and off it and my lips and face would go numb (the feeling as if you are recovering from novicane at a dentist). Well it went on all day coming and going. Finally I got worried and went to our local urgent care and the said I had to go to the emergency room. Well they did the CT scan but man the wait was terrible. The doctor noticed some past infarctions which could be stroke related but I have never felt that way though I used to have migraines. So because of that I had to be admitted for observations and further tests including sonogram of neck arteries, echocardiogram, and MRI. All came back normal and I had no more episodes. It seemed so silly to be stuck in the hospital with no more symptoms and not sick. But all doctors (neurologist and my gp covering doctors) said I had to have it checked out. But these means there is not a definitive reason for symptoms. That sucks. Basically now it is just take an aspirin along with blood pressure medication. I have to see my gp for a follow up. So far no reason to cancel trip, thank goodness. So I went home late Monday afternoon. Slept well and so far back to normal. Not sure what could cause such bizarre symptoms. I was able through my phone to keep up on NHL Free Agents Frenzy. The Rangers got one of the leading scorers available but my Devils picked up Wayne Simmonds (formed Philly Flyer who always harassed my Devils) who will now be doing this for my team. But our team did so much at the draft that I just am curious as to how it will all come together when the season starts. There were lots of moving pieces. Now I am watching Wimbeldon.

Chris so glad the party went well - sorry that Gary could not last the whole time. Glad your PT is going well! That was a cute rat story!

Trudy hope you got all errands done. I know you will be having a great time but hope you can drop in every once in while and lets us know how happy you are with all the family around!

Kay yes summer has finally come to your part of the world. My sister in AZ says the same thing! Glad your tree is coming back.

Jean we had nice weather over the weekend which I could not enjoy! I am sure you were perfect with lighting the candles. That is awesome.

Felis I am not gone yet. LOL. In NYC there was a big fight on the fact that men can go shirtless while not women. Well when settled women can go without shirt in certain area. There are sunbathing areas in Central Park for people who want that freedom. I have no problem it is just not for me.

Have a great day all!
