Hey there, O-Fam! How ya doing? I am a bit brain discombobulated but that is nothing new or surprising. I slept really well the first part of the night but have been up, tossing around since 3 am.
I have no idea what I accomplished yesterday. I spent an hour and a half on the ShopRite website. It was making me crazy. Searches went all sorts of wrong, it kept timing out, the whole thing was super frustrating. But it is done so I am able to go pick up today.
Caitlyn and I spent much of the day working on the puzzle that my mom got me for my birthday. She picked it out and it is a bunch of forest animals (moose, deer, bear) wearing suits and playing poker. The part she likes best is the head of a hunter mounted on the wall.
She is closer to making a decision about grad school. She thinks she is going to go back. If it is on campus, she will be there for night classes so it will be fewer people than daytime. And if it is remote, she said that she will have to suck it up and deal with it. Either way, she knows that to sit home and do nothing for a year would not be good for her mental state which was one of my biggest concerns. The remote classes, that I know she would find a way to figure out. But to do nothing, that I knew would be difficult for her.
She has a few days to accept the loans and then pay the tuition. I am trying to look into the tuition insurance and for $250/semester I think it is worth it. It doesn't usually cover epidemics, but it is with COVID.
The ridiculous thing we did at dinner was look up what sounds camels make. Couldn't tell you how that came up but Scott made an attempt at what he thought it would sound like and he wasn't far off. Sort of a like a cow/hippo/Demogorgon combo. hehe
Other than picking up groceries, again-- nothing planned. We didn't go for the Rent soundtrack drive yesterday but the supermarket is 20 minutes up the mountain so we might listen to it today.
Gratitudes;
-low humidity and sunshine
-camels
