See ya and don't let the door hit ya on the way out :rotfl:

Man oh man! What a *year!*
*blinks a few times, shakes head to see if anything else is loose up there*

This was an absolute rollercoaster of a year. Some of the best moments of my life along with some stressful ones. I can't complain though, even most of the stressful moments were "good stress." I got a new job, got a new son-in-law, planned a bridal shower, and helped with a wedding.
(I also got a relapse of Lyme but that will be tossed into the crummy stress bucket and then be ignored. At least I didn't get Covid. *knocks wood since there's still time left in the year* :D)

I don't do resolutions or retrospectives, that up there ^ is about as deep as I go. However, if you want to share any of your thoughts on 2024 or 2025, I'd love to hear them. ♥

My day didn't have the best of starts. My goal of yoga in the morning-- pfft. I was getting dressed and I opened the door to the small linen cabinet in my very small bathroom. A bunch of the shelves had fallen on one another. At first, I thought the brackets had broken but as I started to unload the stuff on them I saw the entire side of the cabinet had separated from the back and wall. It couldn't be fixed from the inside but Gary was able to screw a block of wood to the outside of the wall for support. Not how I wanted to get my day rolling, but what can you do? Then I *had* to take the ornaments off the tree. We have a naked tree and I cannot *wait* for Gary to feel well enough to put that darn thing away. (When I am done with Christmas, I am *done* )
the rest of the afternoon- who knows what I did... laundry, played with the rats, (my goodness they are sooo cute!), and started to scrap a LO with one of the photos I took to send to Caitlyn. Since Cait and Tom weren't home, I cooked the rest of the frozen salmon I got from the FP and mashed potatoes. Good dinner.

So far this morning, I already placed my grocery order for pick up this afternoon. I wanted to schedule for Thursday but there weren't any spots open in the morning and I am working in the afternoon. Yoga is going to be the first thing I do after I log off from here.

I was hoping to have a PJ day but that's not going to happen. Maybe tomorrow. :D

All of my love and best wishes to all of you for a wonderful, happy, healthy, and fulfilling new year!

So glad you can be a bit calmer today! I can hear it in your voice! ;)
Awwwww, you're so cute... Calm... me?? Ha! if I sounded calm, it sure as heck didn't last! LOL
Crud, I forgot about your FB getting hacked. :(
Yes, we are both on Tindamax this week. I asked him if it was a good idea with the timing- hope we don't end up :rollingpin1: at each other or :hiding1: from each other
So far, I'm doing OK-- my stomach isn't the best and I started to get a really awful headache before I went to bed. Usually, days 3-4 are the worst.
Good luck with the new HDs! That's smart to get the recovery plan. No more gremlins!

'm a little shocked Chris didn't mention that its the last Monday of 2024!!! @faerywings
I'm feeling the funk today. Just dont wanna social but I have a coffee date to attend. I dont want to do anything and I dont know why. Life is good. I'm happy but today is funky. All 18 minutes of it so far. Need to get diet on track again. I'm, sure that's part of it.
I think it took so much mental energy to remember what day it was that I ran out of steam before I could process that it was the last Monday of the year LOL!!!
Big hugs to get you out of the funk. Last night was one of the first real meals I ate in a while and I think my body was very happy about that. Hope that it helps you too. How was your coffee date? Did it feel good to get out of the house once you did?

@bcgal00 That must be so much fun shopping for jewelry supplies. Way back when I was making aromatherapy products, I loved looking at all of the supplies and coming up with my recipes. I'm so excited for you, I bet you are like a little kid waiting for Amazon or UPS to show up at your door.
Take good care of your back when you start exercising again. I am going to start with some of the beginner yoga sessions until I know I have some balance and strength again

@pachimac and @Cherylndesigns Look at you two!! Adorable photo!!!

@BrightEyes What a fantastic time you and DD#3 had!
Enjoy your day today and I hope that you got that nap if you still needed it!

:grouphugyay:

Happy last day of 2024. Thought I would stop in and say hello again. I hope to be more present this year. 2024 I cut down my work week to one day per week mid January. I am working at getting back into digital scrapbooking. For those that remember me from the past, I now have 4 grand kids as cute models, however only 2 are allowed to be posted online. Hello to all

Happy New Years Eve!!! Good bye 2024.

(When I am done with Christmas, I am *done*
I totally get this!! I a fast approaching DONE. My kids want things up still so I am allowing it. Maybe tomorrow it will all come down.

Yes, doing better. Getting my eating, workout and coffee date helped. I think I just need routine. And the lack of one, plus eating pure sugar foods for a week have made it super hard. Sugar and I aren't really friends. Sugar inflammation is raging through my body and I hurt more from it. Need to get back on schedule.

Today is a low key day. Not gonna do much. Need to finish my book to hit my goal of 100 books. So I will be sitting on the couch reading untilI hit that goal. Wont take long, books half done. Have to figure out dinner and fold the laundry. That's the end of year excitement here. Will be in bed asleep until midnight when the neighbors fireworks go off and the dogs start barking. Great way to ring in the year each time :floorlaugh:

Morning, all. I am still in PJs and may stay them all day. :floorlaugh: Still tired from all the running around I did yesterday. Will be :sleeping2: long before midnight and 2025 rolls around here. And plan on relaxed New Year Day.... well aside from getting some 2024 CT things finished up and getting the New Year stuff off to a good start.

Happy New Years Eve!!! Good bye 2024.

Yes, have the neighborhood dogs barking and fireworks going off, too. Hope I sleep through it tonight.
I don't count how many books I read each year - as I usually read 5-6 books each week...

@faerywings Sorry the linen storage collapsed. Sounds like Gary was able to do a fix even if it temporary. Sure hope this week with the meds don't have you and Gary :furious: at each other, I am with you hoping that 2025 is a much better year for all of us.

@LaurieW so good to see you popping in here!!! Please keep coming.

@tanteva guess 2025 has arrived for you already.

Need more :coffee1:... BBL

I only know cause I read exclusively on my kindle and the kindle app keeps track. It was crazy when I saw that and realized just how many books I've been through. You might beat me though. I dont read quite that many a week! I did find it funny though as it also tracks the days I've read. So far I am at 300 days without missing a day. Going for a full year and then I wont worry if I miss a day. Just wanna see if I can do it. The stupid things Kindle tracks.

It's a PJ day here - all day. I came home from work early yesterday because I just didn't feel good. Went straight be bed, and woke up 3 hours later up with a fever of over 101. Ugh. I took a covid test this morning and thankfully it's negative. Nasty cough and fever. Great way to say goodbye to 2024. It's been a hard year, and am happy to welcome in the new year with focus.

Today Belle is working on getting more settled, Mark is planting a couple trees, and me and Gunner are here. I'm hoping to get my last CheeryO layout done in the next couple hours. Taking it to the wire this month, which is not the normal MO at all!

Mark wants the Christmas tree down and put away before midnight. It's a thing for him. Not sure that's going to happen with the way I feel. We'll be home tonight, happily. We don't usually make plans for New Years.

Hope you all have a good last day of the year!

We are Catholic, so the Christmas season STARTS with Christmas day and goes until the Epiphany on Jan 6th, so we have all our decorations and lights up until then.

Cheryl is the sweetest - and we are having so much fun! What I love about it is that she is EXACTLY how I thought she'd be and I felt like I knew her all my life from the first second!

She's been having a hell of a time with her laptop and it keeps kicking her out of oScraps, so hopefully she will be able to get on this morning!

We are driving Red Rock Canyon today and then staying home and watching a movie, and she leaves tomorrow.

Tomorrow is the new year and I am so looking forward to 2025! It's going to be a great year and I'm looking forward in positive thoughts and feelings! I plan on achieving my weight loss goals and learning how to maintain that loss.

Good morning ladies. I have had a relaxing morning, drinking 2 cups of coffee (yay) so my gut health must be improving. I have stayed away from white flour products (except for sour dough bread) and decreased sugar quite a bit these last few days. Already I notice a difference. Like Tracy, my body inflames easily and I feel the effects with aching, headaches, tiredness and my eyes burn (I think the inflammation aggravates my glaucoma).

I'm going to watch some youtube videos for inspiration and will create some jewelry. Friends are coming over late afternoon for a night of mahjong, food and drinks. I will try a decaf coffee with Bailey's and see if my tummy accepts it. Otherwise, I'll stick to my ginger tea but will enjoy all the appies.

I'll get Remi out for a long walk before company comes but other than that, I want to just stay home. Looking forward to a week of nothing to do...not sure how that will go...I can't remember the last time I had a week of nothing LOL. I'm sure I'll find ways to fill up the days :)

Hope you all have a wonderful evening ahead, whether its celebrating or having a quiet night at home. Happy New Years to everyone.

Hi all! I'm using Susie's computer because I still can't get on mine. I just wanted to say Happy New Year to you all!

Having a great time and I have to echo what Susie said that she is exactly what I thought she'd be and we are having a great time together. We are going to spend a quiet new years eve, and whatever you do, make it safe and happy. I'll see you next year! Hugs to all XOXO

Here's hoping you and Gary don't injure one another during the Tindamax stint!

Happy New Year/New Year's Eve!
No plans except to take some Christmas gifts to some of Mark's grands since he is feeling better! Other than that, I just want to stay home!
Got the new 4TB SS HD, the 512GB nubby thumb drive today, so I am itching to get them set up! First task is to copy my photos to the SS HD. Then to tackle re-downloading from my store.....dreading that task!
Stay safe! Praying everyone has a wonderful, safe and healthy 2025!
