GoooooOd morning O-zies!!!

Guess what?? I survived food shopping!! Don't know how I did it exactly, b/c I forgot to take my heart-palpitation pill in the morning (I take it 3 times/day) and oh man, I felt it. I was walking around with my hand over my heart, trying to calm it down. I bet people thought that I was reciting the Pledge of Allegiance in my head. Over and over and over. :D
But I think that Gary is all stocked up for the weekend so there is at least that.

Then I spent an hour or so trying to find ENT drs in Cait's plan. I tried to walk the dog(s), but neither of them cooperated. I vacuumed out my car, since there was still sand in the back from last summer. And dog hair! so much dog hair. As long as we are all going to be crammed in it on the trip, I figured it might be a good idea for it to be sort of clean.

Aside from those few things, my very long list of things that I needed to do that existed only in my head went *poof*
I must write them down today. If I can remember what they were. :becky:

My BFF and I are meeting for coffee. My niece is off to college in a few weeks and I know it is a big change for her. I hope that I can listen and be a support.

That is about it for me- hope you all have happy and exciting days!

Nancy- it is so cold here in the mornings! Don't like that one bit- but being in the sun is fabulous! OMG- Luther! too funny about him chewing "something" - how do they get into the things that they do?
Thanks for the news about your friend's DD. I am hoping that if it comes to that, tonsils out will be a good thing for her. Rae- thank you too. i would do anything to help her get better and to stay better. It is very frustrating to see her sick again and again. :(

Rae- I saw the picture of the bird- holy cripes, what a great shot! You must have such patience to wait, but the reward was amazing! You rock! :photo:

Ravyn likes to chew on bits of gravel from the driveway. We will see her chewing on something long after she is back inside. We do not understand the attraction esp since she only has half of her teeth!

good morning - well yesterday was busy but got a lot accomplished. The dermatologist found 3 spots that needed to be removed. All precancerous so that is good. It is pretty funny though that the two on my face are exactly the opposite of each other, like dimples. Got property taxes paid, insurance cards now in car, grocery shopping done and Luther walked. Was a good day. Today I have to go back to the grocery store. Yuck. And need to clean of course. I will be watching the Olympics and scrapping.

Chris so glad your shopping went well and Gary's pantry is full! Have fun with your BFF. Hope your dogs are more cooperative on their walks today! Luther was a happy dog as he met Daisy and Bali and they played a lot.

Rae so glad that you got to use your new lens. I love flickers.

Have a great day today!

Good morning, ladies. What a fun evening I had. Bailey & I went to the Community Farm that I had gone to a few weeks ago. I wasn't sure if she would enjoy it as much as I do but she loved it. I helped her practice looking at angles, light and composition and it's so wonderful to see her enthusiasm and see what a good eye she has for photography. She used up the battery on her camera and then used her camera phone and rocked the photos she took. We can't wait to go back. Today is all about the mundane things...errands, work, household chores, dinner planning, laundry. And editing a few pics here and there throughout the day.

Chris - enjoy your visit with your friend. I don't miss the dog hair in the car. Sandy (retriever) was a big shedder and it took forever to vacuum it out all the time. I am happy that Taz is not much of a shedder, just a tiny bit. I used to have a sponge that I bought at the pet store that I would use in between vacuuming, that would pick up a lot of the fur, so I didn't need to vacuum as often. Next to using the pet sponge, just using a slightly damp cotton cloth would work to pull up a lot of the fur too.

Nancy - how fun that Luther got to play with other dogs. Glad you got new news from the dermatologist. It reminds me that I have a few that need to be looked at. I'm not worried about them but should get them checked just in case.

Time for me to get to work. Have a wonderful day, everyone.

Afternoon, all! The cool breezes are leaving and heat arriving. Not looking forward to it, but it's summer. Hope it's a good one for you.

Hey ladies popping in here super late, but this is my last week with any grandkids and its Isaac's turn to be with this grandma. We went bowling today and he totally kicked my butt, but then again they had the bumpers on the lanes and he had the angle to throw the ball down pat!! Grandma just tried to keep up bowling the regular way LOL! It was fun, we bowled three games and two of them were free, with a coupon we got at the parade for the B.C. long weekend. Tonight Isaac is going to Archery class and again on Thursday, so we will have to see what kind of trouble we can get into tomorrow and friday. Have had a wonderful summer with the kids, but sadly it is coming to a close and I am totally exhausted ! I will need a week to recoup :becky: Looking forward to some down time and just to be here again with all of you. Sad day yesterday as we put Heather, Mason and Jonah back on the plane to go home :hurt: Mason ran back to me after going through security and wrapped his arms around me crying... It broke my heart and even the security lady was crying with me. He is the sweetest child and I miss him so much already!! Its so not fair!!!! Anyway I can't dwell on it or it will drive me crazy :loco: Hoping that you are all having a great day!!
Should be able to pop in here again tomorrow
