Good morning, and a very Happy Tuesday to all of you!

Today is my 1/4 century together for me and my darlin' It sure has been a *wild* ride, but one I am happy to be part of. And there is more good to come. (Might be some not so good to come as well, but that will only make me appreciate the good parts.) He is my rock.

Also, counting down to one week left of the "Confinement of Jaida." Confinement/Restriction of activity for that one? Yeah, right!!!:spit: She is a loon!!!! Ray has learned that she can't play rough with Jaida, so now J takes her toys, throws them around and chases/pounces on her own. I cannot *wait* for those stitches to come out so she can run around outside again, burn some energy off.

Looks like my day is going to be another like yesterday. IV in the AM, IV at night. Sounds like a song? I have to get ready to go food shopping tomorrow too, Cait has to get blood work and I still have to make an appt for the chiro before we go to PA next week.

I guess that is about it from me. I wish I had something good/exciting to share, but not ATM.
Wait- I can share these: :tea:

QOTD Are you good at sharing? As a PreK teacher, I had to teach 4-5 yo's to share. As a mom, I recognized that some things are ok to not share. When my kids had friends over, I told them that they could pick one or two toys that were "special" that they didn't have to share. They put them on my bed, but all other toys were fair game. They still remember that and think that really helped them.
I don't have a lot of "stuff" that anyone else would want, but I share pretty well. Cait and I share clothes all of the time. Obviously, I share my home/food as much as is possible. I am *not* good at sharing money, even when I have some. I think it is b/c I am always coming from a place of lack that I often worry that there is never enough.

How about you?

Sharon!!!!!!!!!! 1 Mile!!!!!! That is amazing!!!!
Too funny about getting more puppy pics than kid pics. I already have way more pics of Jaida than I did of Cait. In face, if it weren't for my MIL, I would have next to no pics of Cait as a baby. Potty training-- That is a tough one. Jaida still has an occasional accident in the house. I read that they are usually not able to be 100% consistent until around 12 months.
Great great news about Marisol. It stinks that the first one has to go so wrong, but at least this one went well!

Nancy- I stayed at the Sagamore once. My MIL was working for an event planning place, and was comped a weekend away. MIL, FIL, Gary and I went up. And Scott too, except his was just a little bean at that point. I had just found I was pg with him a couple of weeks before. So no wine with dinner, and a lot queasy on the boat ride on the lake and even more so on the winding roads. We went to Fort Ticonderoga (I am at that point in the book too LOL), and hit a lot of antique stores on the way back. The musty smell of them turned my stomach and I spent a lot of time near the door, getting some fresh air. My appreciation of the place was not all that, for sure. We camped up there once? Twice??? when Scott was little which was fun.
Sounds like you and your DIL had a really nice time! I bet it was just beautiful on the lake. Good job on driving back home and having fun!

HI TRUDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have missed you! Hope you squeeze in so many Mason Hugs to get you through after they leave-- but don't think about that now! I have been hearing in the news how crazy hot it is for the Pacific NW. It seems like our weather has flipped. I think we only broke 90* a handful of times here.

Oh no, Jean! Did you ever find out what happened to the roofers and why they never showed up? I love cows, so I am looking fwd to lots of los of them :)

Time for me to get some b-fast and get my day started...

Have a wonderful one!!!

good morning - Well my physical was a success. I am very happy. My cholesterol is 169 so that makes me really happy. My blood pressure was good too and I was surprised too since I had just driven down from the north. Turns out I have plantar fasciitis. It is a mild case and I just have to do more stretching. But at least I now know what the pain is coming from. Came home and then just relaxed. Of course I checked out my photos and I am pretty happy with them. Had a loud thunderstorm come through early this am. But now it is really nice out now. While I was away the boys put an air conditioner. It nice and when it gets really hot I am sure I will be glad it is in.

Chris I like your idea of your IV song. Congrats so much on making 25 years. That is awesome! Hope you have many many more years!

Sharon your swimming success should be scrap page. You do such awesome pages of every one else's lives don't forget to do one for you. Have fun today with all the puppy photos!

Trudy enjoy these last days! Tubing was something we did a lot in AZ as the Colorado River is just a lazy river.

Jean I really get annoyed when contractors do not show up when scheduled. Shame on them. Hope they had a good apology!

QOTD I think I share pretty well and I think my kids share. Chaz is the best but they really both don't feel that things are more important that people's feelings. But they do have special items that they are very protective of and that is ok.

Have a great day all!

LOL...Chris! Love the song idea. Reminds me of a REALLY old song, "Sugar in the mornin', sugar in the evenin', sugar at supper time...be my little sugar, and love me all the time..."

Happy anniversary. Love hearing how people together that long would do it again.

Nancy glad your physical went so well. AC: One of the best things about living in the century we do. We had central air installed several years ago, and are still not over it...especially a year like this when the heat is unrelenting. BTW, I DID make a scrapbook page about my mile-long swim:

Trudy, treasure these last few days. I understand your anticipation about the quiet house. I've cried a lot of tears over leaving them...or having them leave me.

The week continues to be pretty quiet for me. Loving the August challenges.

Yep...pretty good at sharing. I've even shared from my TP stash! Every once in awhile we take a big Costco bundle of TP to the host of our home-church. Chris, I like the way you handled sharing with your kids when they were little. I will pass that tip along to my DD & DS.

Time for a coffee refill. HAGD!
