CHEERY O
soooo sooo sorry, I am really late this morning!
Where did the time run off to? I am not working today (bummer, all of my clients going on vacation and leaving me all alone LOL) so i guess I am moving a bit slower than usual.

But great news to have my dude home!!!!!!!!!!!! Poor kid is exhausted!!!! They were down the shore for a full week, and every night they were at the boardwalk till closing, then hung out at the house being silly teenagers til 4-5 am! He brought me home a shot glass with little dolphins swimming in the bottom. So sweet of him to think of me.

So now what to do today since I have the morning free? I can't go to the lake since Cait has a dentist appt this afternoon. :(

Maybe yard work or house cleaning....... *yuck*

I wish I was better able to plan ahead and get to work on something before hand.......

Tip on Tuesday:
Must try and find missing brain.

Laurie- seriously, what is normal anymore? I seem to have no clue. LOL Your workshop sounds really fantastic. Gary is very much a kinetic/kinesthetic (can't think of the correct term) learner and those would have helped him enormously when he was a kid. He has a bunch of learning disabilities that are not officially diagnosed b/c how many actually were diagnosed back in the 70's? Anyway, my point is that it is so cool to hear about all of the techniques you are able to use to help your clients.

Phyllis- I feel your pain! What did you end up making?

Trudy- I hope that you enjoy every last moment with your DD. And look at how cute you and Heather are together! Can't wait to read and see the details and photos!

Hugs to all of you!

Quick one from me. It's crazy here...even crazier than normal! Packing like a crazy woman between work and taking kids to practices in the evenings. I'd say that I can't get it done...but of course, it will get done!

Then, hopefully, back to something a little more normal next week. ((hugs)) to all of you! I miss you terribly!

Morning all!

Hope your Tuesday goes well. Lots of errands here today. The temps are so nice and such a nice relief from the heat.

Chris- Enjoy your morning and hope you spend it on yourself, you deserve some ME time.

Linda- Hope you accomplish all you need to today.................cause there is more tomorrow...............now that sounds really encouraging doesn't it!!:)

Have a good one!

Linda, are you going on vacation? I missed why you're packing! Your energy always amazes me!

Chris, i'm glad that you have a day off, only that doesn't pay very well, so nuts to THAT! maybe clean out a closet. that always makes me feel like i accomplished something! i ended up making a standing rib roast and roast potatoes. (He said, finally, that that was what he'd like to have.) i don't mind making that, because it's easy, and we can have a few dinners from it. dessert was easy. i told him a few days ago the Bruster's was advertising that their Peach ice cream was available, so he said he'd like that. i cut up some fresh peaches and dumped that over the ice cream. ( i got to eat the meat and veg and some Breyers low-carb ice cream.)

hey. i got the BEST anniversary present!! every 5 years Hubby gets me some jewelry, and since this was 35 years together, he came through with this amazing antique necklace! it sounds weird, and it is a bit unusual, but it's just the sort of thing i like: the whole thing is made of these really tiny silver coins called "Real" from Guatemala. the coins are all from the late 1800s. the medalion on the necklace is round and surrounded by these teeny coins and is inscribed "Liberdad 15 Septiembre 1821," which was the date Guatemala declared the independence of all of Central America when Spain was defeated in the Mexican war of independence. so. how's THAT for an anniversary gift?? cool! now all i have to do is plan to actually GO someplace where i can wear it! i might just wear it around the house today as i'm vacuuming!

hope everyone has a super day. make Tuesday memorable!

Morning Ladies!! OMG I can't believe that everyone is talking about school starting up again already!! Really?? Has our summer gone by that quickly?? My day off and only going in for a couple of hours for the rest of this week. Much drama going on at my work place, I am looking for a new job, can't take this crazyness much longer. My supervisor is now on stress leave and the manager (@*$hole that he is!!) Is scheduling me for 8 hr shifts all next week and I don't think he has any intention of changing it back to my part time hrs. I can't do those long shifts standing on my feet all day, so I have no choice but to look for another job. :hurt: I have tried to convince my hubby that perhaps its time I just did not work anymore, but he gets all pissy with me and thinks that some time at work is good for me?? Wish I could just get a job at home and make both of us happy!! Oh well enough whining from me, thanks for letting me vent my frustrations ladies!!

Chris - How nice to have your young man back home with you! I think that I will be stuck doing housework today also, my sister and her daughter and grand-daughter are coming for a quick visit today to say hi to DD, they have not seen her yet and want to touch base before she heads out on Saturday night. Other than that I really hope to get some scrapping done and catch up on some gallery comments, I have really missed being here and having my time with my O family!!

Lindas - are you packing for your move to your new house or a vacation??

Phylis - WTG hubby!! Your necklace is beautiful, he done good!!! LOL ! I would wear it around the house all day too!! Congrats on 35 years!!! My MG and myself have been married that long too!! Your anniversary dinner sounded wonderful, peach ice cream yummmmm!! Hope your day is fabulous!!

Donna - glad you are getting nicer temps!! Hope you get all your errands done too!

Kristy - Wow can't believe that school starts for your kids already, ours never go back until after the Labour Day weekend here, in September.

Nana Linda - and  right back at ya!! Hope you have a fun day at the park! Enjoy!!

Well better get looking at the want ads I guess... Ugh!! I really hate looking for a new job!! Enjoy the day everyone!
