Daily Ooo's: Tuesday, April 25

Happy Tuesday!
I hope that I didn't scare too many of you off with my ranting yesterday. I am not as moody and depressed about my health today, but darn it I am frustrated as hell about not being able to find an orthopedist in my plan.

Nothing exciting happened here, prepped for food shopping, hit the food pantry for more peanut butter and oatmeal. I made the honey tofu/chicken dinner and that took a good chunk of the day.

Today I get to do the lovely activity of food shopping and call healthcare.gov. When I dropped Scott from my plan once he was on Medicaid, they also dropped him from my dental plan which I want to keep him on. And of course, continue my search for an ortho.

Did I tell you that I was going to PA for the weekend? I had asked my parents if they were ok with me going up with them, to get a breather before the insanity of May and June hit. I planned this before I knew all of the craziness of the past couple of weeks happened. Man, I am soooooo glad that I am going. I need this. Desperately.

Sharon- Thanks for your supportive words and understanding. How is MIL doing, getting enough fluids?
Great update on Lyta! I will keep my fingers crossed for the repeat test in Nov.

Rae- you had been so busy and you even got a LO scrapped- good for you! That is so adorable that Taz and Noel were happy to see each other.
Thanks for the advice as well. I am not as active as I should be but maybe this will be a kick in the butt to get moving. I am sure that my scoliosis is making things worse. When I had to have a chest x-ray before my hysterectomy (locate and place my PICC line) the tech asked me-- do you know you have scoliosis??? Um, yeah, I had to wear a brace for three very long years LOL
Sorry to hear that the workload is bigger than you had expected but extra $ is always a good thing.

Trudy- feel better! Those hugs and kisses are worth every sniffle and sneeze. Hope you don't miss your babies too much. I know that you will anyway. Good luck getting back into the swing of things. If you figure out how to do that, let me know!

Good morning, ladies. Just got home after being at the lab for 1.5 hrs. I went 15 minutes before they opened and they already had a long lineup. I couldn't wait to get home and have a coffee. It's a busy but boring day around here today. Laundry, desk work and groceries later.

Chris - glad to hear you are going away this wkend, you deserve to relax and unwind.

Trudy - sorry you are sick but hope it passes quickly and doesn't hamper your time with the kids.

Time to grab another coffee and get my day going. Have a wonderful day, everyone.

Morning ladies... feeling just a tad bit better today, but still so very plugged up! Did not have the best sleep as my nose was either running or totally plugged so I was waking up gasping for air LOL. I hate being a mouth breather, my throat is so dry from it!! Hopefully today will be the last day for this horrible clogged up feeling, but I doubt it. This afternoon I am off to get my hair cut and coloured, so I an hoping that makes me feel a bit better also.
I have to get a few CT things done today also, so I really need to get out of this funk that I am currently in and get going!!

Chris - Don't worry you did not scare us away, we would never leave you! I think it just must be that time of year when things should be renewing, but it is just not happening as quickly as we would like, the weather and everything else has been so wacky this year. I truly believe our bodies react to all that happens around us and this has been one crazy out of sync year!! I hope that you finally find a Orthopedist and that you can get Scott put back on your Dental Plan! Dealing with all things Health Care is so frustrating :frusty: Glad that you are getting away to your Parents Place!! Enjoy that fireplace and a very large glass of wine or two while you are there!! You will need the rest and relaxation with the up coming craziness of the next couple of months! Cheezz Louise you have scoliosis on top of everything else??? Yikes woman you truly are a wonder!! :hug:

Rae - What type of Android Box did you end up getting? We have a Matricom and so far we are loving it! I keep telling DH that we need to cancel our package for Optic TV or at least take it down to the bare minimum but he is reluctant to do it. Not sure why?? Men are stubborn as can be sometimes LOL. Anyway we really enjoy having our Kodi!! Especially DH when he got to watch all of his Bruins games! Sorry that you had to wait in a long line so early this morning! Hoping that your work day is not too fully packed and that you get to do something that you find fun today! Looks like the sun is going to come out here for a while today , hopefully it will for you also!

Sharon - Good news about your fur baby, but sorry you are having to deal with all these other stressful issues in your life!

The renovations are almost done. My hardwood stairs are so gorgeous. Tomorrow is touch up paint and Friday the stair railing goes in and we are done! yay. The new window seat we had put in our dining room is gorgeous. The peach paint color looks terrible. I get to repaint. Oh joy!

My MIL is driving me crazy. She calls me today and ask if I am busy (contractors in the house). She said my FIL (96) had an appt. with the kidney doctor, and his last report wasn't good, but she could cancel the appt. WHAT? no way. Called DD and she was more than happy to help (after taking her sister to the eye doctor for her lasix check up (she is doing great)! I can't handle this stress! lol
