Yeah, I didn't think so either.

Remember how I said that Gary and Scott went to a NORML fair last week? Scott bought Roasted Hemp Seeds while he was there. Its food- like Sesame Seeds or Sunflower seed. Wouldn't you know, we get a call fromthe school sayingthat they were confiscated and I needed to drive down topick them up. Really?? Says right on the bag- "Food Product""0% THC", and "Legal in all 50 States." The school calls the manufacturing company and Poison control and still doesn't get it, They claimed if her were drug-tested, it could give him a false positive and that they were "protecting him." Meanwhile- there are kids who really are doing drugs and well.... let's not worry about them.....
My reaction was to just get them and bring 'em home, no need to make even more waves for Scott. Gary didn't like that idea and called the school back to tell them that they were wrong. Nothing like lecturing the school on the misinformation re: hemp while your son is in danger of failing one of his classes....*eye roll*

It never, ever ends, eh??

I am off to work for my MIL today, I haven't seen her in so long! I was hoping that the weather would be nicer so I could get out and play in her gardens, but it is supposed to be cold and damp. :(

Hi Laurie, getting closer and closer to vaca!!! Hope you got all of your work done and that it didn't take too long.

Sandra- I saw that Piper does have strep, that bites :( It seems to just fly from one kid to the next doesn't it? Hope that you all stay healthy!

Donna- I saw this week;s Anna Lift and I haven't had a chance to do that one yet- I was too busy laughing and sticking mustache's on Caitlyn yesterday. LOL Hope you got gobs of scrap time in yesterday!


Eva- hahah! I don't understand half of my medical issues some days either.

Have you tried MSM (supplement) for the arthritis? I used to take that way back when when the drs thought I just had fibro. It is supposed to be really good for arthritis joint pain. I'll have to see if I can find some info on it for you.

Phyllis- Currently I am testing positive for ANA, Lupus and RA. Bartonelle is a co-infection of Lyme, aka Cat Scratch fever in one of its forms. It responds to different abx than Lyme which is why we all have to take abx cocktails.
How is the nose doing? Have you been able to remove the corks yet?? LOL

i think i justify it by saying that I am the one who has to clean it up, so i'm allowed to put it there. with everyone else's stuff, it's STILL ME who has to pick it up, so they're not allowed to leave stuff around the place!

no. it never, never does.

i've been up since 5 a.m. for some *&^%ed reason. doing some laundry and some scrapping. have to stay in today because the mobile Vet (our vet is named Dr. Catt!!! :rofl:) is coming to give the Boomeister a shot. he can't get his boosters all at the same time because it makes him sick. my husband said "do you have to pay extra for that?" to which i replied: no. YOU do!

we never got the snow. ANY of the snow, so YAY for that. it's supposed to rain today, so of course the sun is shining. honestly. weathermen.

hope the sun is shining where YOU are!

Good Morning... day off and I can't sleep in??? Oh well its the story of my life these days!! Guess 5 to 6 hrs is all my body needs....NOT!! By supper time I am ready to go back to bed. Sheesh!! Not much on the agenda today, need to look for new running shoes and capri pants to wear for work. Hopefully get a good walk in and then of course some scrap time too.

Chris - Don't you just want to take the people in charge of school by the neck and just shake them!!!! Hello??? :attention: There are kids in real trouble with drugs out there!!! What are they doing to protect them?? They seem to live in there own little world sometimes :crazy: Ok I will shut up now :tape: Have a nice visit with your MIL , and like I said before you can bring your garden gloves with you and help me out here anytime!! Hi all...

Would you believe hail last night? I was about to take the food over to my friend, and decided no way. They live in an apartment complex and there is nothing like driving around hither and yon looking for building #s in the dark. Got it done this am, and am glad one batch is delivered.

Ah Chris...Such priorities at the school. I suspect a 'big' case would be too much paperwork!

Phylis, Woof! Sorry to hear your disappointment re the snow! bwahahaha! It's sunny here today but sure not warm yet.

Trudy, Can you stay up later and play on your computer since you're not sleeping anyhow? I would hate not being able to sleep. I swear it's the last legal escape! :sleep:

Well, I have two pages to post here, but have run into the 24 hr rule. I never know what time I posted but only that it was yesterday. I guess that means keep scrapping, right? This is what I'd like Right Now :pizza: but I don't want to 1. go get it and 2. eat the whole thing. Sigh.
 
well turns out its strep throat!!! took her to the dr....one more day home from school for her....
 
evening all - stayed up too late last night- slept in this am till 6- wanted to be out of the house by 630 to be first in line for blood work- fasting- I hate it knowing I can't eat makes me very hungry and ornery. Got my blood work done, drove to subway for a coffee and breakfast sandwich- it was before 9am so I got two for the price of one- decided the second would be dinner - got to work and couldn't remember what meat I had on the second one- I could remember spinach, peppers and tomato but not the meat- guess the coffee hadn't hit when I ordered it. I was supposed to have a hair appt after work, but the dresser was sick, so I stayed to do paperwork- one more night of this insanity and then relaxing me time!!!!! Of course I probably will get my appt rescheduled for thursday and run around for that instead of staying home and relaxing.
