Hello and happy Tuesday!

This morning we are going to a slightly different shoulder roll and stretch. Deep breath in and raise the right shoulder to your ear and drop the left, roll the right shoulder and breathe out. Now reverse. Breathe in, raise the left, drop the right. Roll the left shoulder a bit and breathe out. Repeat.

I am much more coordinated on my right side than left. ;)

I was very pleased with my Walmart order and pick up. It went quite well. Gary drove me down so I had company in the car. It was his first time out of the house in weeks.
They did a nice job with the substitutions. They kept the same price, even if the sub was more expensive. So they gave me Thomas' English Muffins at the Great Value brand price. That was pretty cool. We tipped the "delivery" guy $5 too.

I started another page for my nephew and I am excited and relieved that my brother sent me 6 new photos of him.
Other than that nit much else happened. My BFF asked to contact my SIL. A HS classmate of ours passed away a week ago (not CV) and his girlfriend lives across the street from my SIL. She is a single mom of disabled twins and he lived in Virginia. We are trying to coordinate getting her a card or something for her since she can't even go down to bury him.

The weather is yucky here and my allergies are making me bonkers so it is a good day to tackle cleaning the baker's rack in my kitchen. Everything needs to be taken off if it so I can move it and clean under and behind. Gary is cooking dinner tonight so I don't have to! :whoo:

Gratitudes:
-more photos to scrap
-computer/software/the O Shop to scrap with
-hugging Gary

Trudy- it is so sad about the shooting and it has to be heartbreaking to know that "one of your own" was killed. I am relieved that Trudeau is open to tightening gun laws, that would never happen here. thinking of you :canada:
I bet that the boys (all three of them) are keeping Heather busy and I hope that the weather improves so they can spend more time outside.
Hope that your weather is better soon too, but I know you need some rain.
So cute that your Gary shared his cookies with the neighborhood kids. I bet he is thinking that will get him some birthday chalk messages too LOL

Felis- how awesome to have nice weather and a "bee party." It is still too cold for them to be out and about here. But as soon as my rhododendron blooms I will see a lot of them. I know you would understand how I feel about weeds and splitting roots.
 What a story about the cat and the fish!!!! Bad enough for that to happen (yuck!) but on your Easter BBQ!? I am glad that he didn't eat it.

Nancy- yay for Luther! She must have been so happy to get outside for his walk. The chicken dinner sounds like my kids if recipe. :hungry:
I shudder to think about how we are all going to look when we can get out of quarantine! But so worth it and especially that you had a nice dinner with his GF. My parents are coming up tomorrow and we are thinking if it is nice, we might sit in the driveway to chat.
That is so sweet that the police and fire dept are doing a b-day drive by!
I forgot about how cats will bring you "presents," I had a few that would bring me mice and I sure don't miss that!

Jean- how awesome that you were able to get outside and breathe some fresh air. The daffodils are blooming here too and there is one house where they are so thick, I want to steal some. (I never would but they wouldn't miss them LOL)
Walmart was fine, pleasantly surprised because I hate that store on a good day. Good luck with your shopping today.
hehe, love your note to Luther!

good morning - It is sunny but we are going to have thunderstorms this afternoon and lots of wind and then it will be cold down near freezing tonight. What!!! I need some 70s and 80s. My DH had to go into work today and my son too so I am really home alone and I love it. Last night watched Songland and they had the singer who last year did the song Despasito. Well to watch was just fascinating. The producers are English speaking and to see them work with a Latin singer was amazing. These people have such musical talent I am always in awe. Today I will cook and enjoy the silence. Luckily my DH walked Luther before he left.

Chris I so agree the weather is bonkers and when I walk my eyes water so badly! Glad you have new photos of you nephew. Have fun scrapping. That is great that Walmart did so well for you.

Trudy I have seen posts from NS. It is heartbreaking! It just seems so unCanadian. Hope that Heather and the boys are doing well. We are getting blasts of cold air from up north as the jet stream keeps dipping down. So I hope her weather warms up and as that will help us too! Saw a post from a Vegas Golden Knight that said "I will play in the summer in Antartica if necessary". Made me smile.

Jean how nice to take the drive. Our daffodils are just about over and we are now seeing tulips. My dogwood is also blooming. I want to see the migrant birds. Oh well maybe this pause will allow more birds to feel less stress so maybe next year there will be more to see.

Felis hope the weather continues to be beautiful.

Waving to all.
Grateful for sunshine

Hello ladies!
It's pouring rain whole day. It could be a perfect day for scrap, but after the yesterday's news, global and awful local crimes, it make it feels cynical to sit and scrap bright holiday. I'm sitting near to the vase with daffodils which makes the kitchen smells lovely! Drinking coffee and listen live performance from previous summer, or the year before. The singer's voice is passionate and powerful. I like more his live performance, always have so much more energy and nuances in his voice. Browse to see did he is post something new at IG. He is not. Today I'm pathetic, acting like teenager, and allows my mood to depends from the activity of stranger, who don't even know that I exist. In my language have saying: "it's not fit to your age"! What fits to adults?! What the married people are dreaming about in melancholic mood?! Are you imagine romantic date, or even better you are blessed with the treasure of happy memories? This vacation from previous summer, or the wine night previous weekend. ... The song is changed, and now he sing about the girl that never appreciates him enough. I'm listened this story in so many his interviews, some LA chick that left him with many regrets and one wonderful album. What is the feeling someone to loves you so much as he did? To change his whole life just for your pleasure?! I'm never been loved like that. Have I loved this way? Maybe, somewhere, sometime in my youth, another life, completely other me.
Why do I'm sharing all this with you, you'll ask? Because I'm not doing anything new today. The rain will start for a few days at least. And also because I want to be sure that you'll kiss and hug someone special for you today, and I hope this will be nothing new for you too! :boink:

Nancy, that's exactly the position of my parents, when we risk to meet coworkers, it's no sense to stay separate from our extended family members. Visits are so strange now with all these new routine for distance and disinfection, aren't they?

Jean, sorry to hear that your walk was too crowded so to can enjoy it!

Chris, so sorry about your classmate!
Bravo for Gary and lots of tasks he is taken today! Nice that the food pick up wasn't stressful for you!
Haha, my cats aren't hungry, they keep hunt just because their nature is on evil creatures. And he was so proud from himself. I think he suggests he is feed us, as in his little blond head there is no other reason to take his trophy away.

Nancy, we cross posted.
My parents are back to work too. I can't find where to watch Songland here, but it's sounds really interesting. Strange, our daffodils and tulips comes together.

Good morning everyone! It is cloudy this morning, but there are a few patches of blue sky out there. Hope that the rain will not start until after my walk today. Sometimes I wish I had Stormy here with me to keep me company on my walks. No I am not getting a dog!!! LOL I think that Storm is very happy with everyone being at home at their place in Ottawa!! She is probably getting more exercise than she has had in her life. I plan to do a face time with Isaac and Sadie today, but will txt first as I know that they are busy doing some school work in the mornings. I haven't heard from Heather and the boys, so that must mean that they are all busy doing their own thing. I got a shipment of new paints from ColourArt the other day, they are pigment powders and the colours are amazing with lots of bling and sparkle to them. So I messed around with those for a bit yesterday. Still trying to complete a page for one of the challenges, so hopefully I will get more into that today. Felt down and moody most of the day, trying to understand why something so tragic could happen to those in NS! Guess we will never know why humans do the things that they do to each other  Makes me wonder what the families of abusive households must be going through being confined for so long! I am so lucky to have such a loving husband and family!! So lucky to have all of you here also, you start my day and keep me sane!

Chris - Glad that your Gary got to go for a drive with you and get out of the house for a bit! Happy too that you got some good substitutions with your grocery pick up! Perfect timing for your brother to send the photos, now you can get busy and get that photo book completed. Sorry your allergies are acting up, but now you can have a nice clean and tidy bakers rack! Enjoy your night off from cooking! Gotta love a man that can cook!!

Nancy - How nice that you have the house to yourself today! Enjoy!! Too bad that you are getting thunderstorms today, so I hope you and Luther are able to get in a walk before all that happens. Yes the temps are really crazy right now and snow predicted for Heather's area YUCK!! Hope that hockey will be starting again soon too, so great that teams are anxious to get back to skating, but I am afraid it is just to early to get back at it yet. They keep saying there will be a second wave of this virus, sure hope that is not right! Watched the local news last night and a man from right here in Duncan, who was on a cruise ship got the virus. He said that he only experienced a sore throat and a bad cough. Anyway they quarantined him in Trenton Ontario for 14 days and now because he drove down to the states to catch his cruise, his car is stuck there and it is costing him a fortune to keep it there. He has no way of getting it back until all this is over. Hard to feel sorry for him, why on earth would you drive all the way to Florida from Vancouver Island to catch a cruise ?? A flight would have been so much cheaper and easier?? Guess you can't fix stupid LOL. Opps did I say that out loud?? :tape:

Jean - I am so happy to hear that you and your DH got out for a bit! The daffodils must have been so pretty to see! I have a few in the back of our house and when I see them they always make me smile! Such happy plants!! Sorry that there were too many people out and about and not behaving themselves. Why is it so hard?? Oh well I hope that your shopping trip is successful and you get everything that is needed.

Felis - Perhaps scrapping about the way you are feeling right would be good therapy for you?? I am sorry that you are not feeling like you have been loved. I know that your family must love you very much! Please know that we all love you too!! I hope that your rainy days do not last much longer and that you get some pleasure from listening to and watching your favourite singers!!

Ok off to do my morning chores and then face time the kids! Hopefully they will bring some much needed laughter to my life! (of course they will!). Have a lovely day everyone and send healing thoughts to those in NS who need it so much!

Gratitudes:
I have my kids and grands to make me smile when I need it
I have my O family to share my day with
We are still healthy

We survived the grocery shopping. The aisles seemed busy (one other person seems a lot) but check out was fine. We had to get alternates or strange brands of some things, but the only item we couldn't get at all was #4 coffee filters. Guess folks are putting them in their masks. Anyway, we're now well-scrubbed and well-stocked, hopefully for another 2 weeks. I thought it would rain today, but not so far and it's partly sunny, so a nice, but chilly day. And I scrapped the daffodil hill: https://ozone.oscraps.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=428407&title=daffodil-hill&cat=all that Vera was kind enough to give a SO, making me feel very good.

Chris, how nice that the Walmart pickup had two bonuses - that Gary got out and you got good substitutions where needed. And then more photos for the book! I know a good outlook makes scrapping so much easier. Wishing your allergies would knock it off!

Nancy, how sweet to get a day to yourself, even with Luther already walked! Hope you enjoyed it. Wouldn't it be a pleasure to have some hockey. Don't see how we can have any normal sports at all though. Tonight ESPN has on a 1995 ALDS game between the Yankees and Seattle. Guess we just have to make do with what we can.

Felis, all that rain could make a sad day more so, but scrapping a happy time is really making the statement that good happens too, not just the awful. Maybe not right away though. Daffodils and music seems nice to me. :music: Stick with that and the fur babies for comfort. So, is you dad back to work now, as well as your mother? Hoping they stay safe!

Trudy, I'm going to concentrate on your new paints and try to ignore the sad parts. Hope you can do that too. I know Isaac and Sadie will give you smiles. Talked to DH's sister about her granddaughter Sadie and learned she has been called Sarah Bernhardt! :drama: (That came out because I made a drama queen comment about her based on some photos. I think she's adorable.)

Grateful
that shopping is done for a while
we got more sun
you all are here
we're still well
