The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
Are ya ready for Tuesday? I think I am, I think I am.... says the little faery that could..... ;)

I was supposed to clean today, but I checked in with my client. She has 3 kids under 7 and the 2 youngest have ADHD. I had a feeling that after 10 days home from school, she wasn't going to be quite ready for me. So I am heading over there tomorrow instead. That means food shopping and bill paying today. Then some more yard work. Yesterday got up to 91* Seriously!! Today should be in the 70's. Good yard work weather. Yay! I am still not sure if I should plant any of my seeds or not. Technically, North NJ 's last frost date is May 15. But, it seems so weird to think that its going to get that cold again. But then again, you never know. We aren't supposed to get 19" of snow in October either :eek2:

Tip on Tuesday:
This is an amazing tip from ViVre:
this is the way i do it:
- select the move tool.
- push: control
- AND click in your layout on a object (eg one of your alpha's)
You'll see in the layer-palette that the layer of that object is selected now.

Quick and easy!! Specially when you've a huge amount of layers.

I never knew this one, and when I was scrapping over the weekend, I used it all of the time- wow I love it!!!

::grouphug and :tea:

Personals for my O-Fam

Nana- I think you might need more than a few days away :D
Yeah, I was disappointed for Cait, esp b/c if she wanted a summer job at the Day Camp when she is 16, being a CIT is pretty much the only way to go. But she doesn't really want to do that- she'd rather get a job as a shop girl in one of the hair places in town. So we'll see.
Hope you were able to squeeze in some down time while the older kids were at school!

Linda S- I am so sorry about the funeral and all of the emotions it must be stirring up. Thinking of you and sending strength and love!

Laurie- hope those meds kick and and loosen up the gunk quickly!

Maureen- LOL-- yup, many of my clients "clean" before I clean. This one usually leaves out buckets and throws everything in them and I just clean around them ;)

Phyllis- wooot!! So happy that you had a great visit!!! I am going to be stalking your gallery for sure!!

Trudy- ha! 2 hours in a car and I am nutty- can't imagine 14 hours in a plane! But I bet it was nice for them to be back on "home soil" even though it must have been hard to leave. Hope you get scrap time in today- it is you day off and no hubby around this time??

TTYS!!

Good morning! It's Tuesday...yay! (Because that makes it one day closer to Friday. :giggle: )

Laurie, hope that the abx helped. And mentally being at the beach isn't such a bad thing!

Maureen, my mom always cleaned before the cleaning lady came. Me...nope...no way! But I must admit that Brian is pretty good at making sure that we don't have much clutter. And the cleaning lady is my SIL so I just tell her to leave anything that is a mess.

Phylis, so glad that you had such a good time with the grandmen! I bet yesterday just felt good to slow down didn't it?

Trudy, glad that your brother and SIL have returned. I can tell how much you miss them in your posts. I would love to travel to Oz someday but I do hate long plane trips. China is a 13 hour plane ride and we will probably take it at least once more.

Not much on the docket today. Work, homework, and that's about it.

morning all abx kicking in and by mid afternoon the feeling of being hit between the eyes with a baseball bat went away- too bad- today is my day with the family that challenges my customer service abilities and I was hoping to call off. I wish (I know it is not wednesday) that the actual pt was ready for discharge- then I would not have to deal with all three of patients families (yes- I have representatives from both parents and foster care each visit present during the pt treatment). So I am off to the shower and getting ready for the day!

well my layout turned out GREAT yesterday just wish i could upload it as one thing...but the way it cuts off cuts off one of my sisters LOL...so i dont like that i made it to be able to print out on canvas....i'll have to make another one on 600x600 so off to find another template!! cause im not good at grouping a lot of pictures together LOL although usually by the time im done the layout looks nothing like the template haha

well. i feel like i'm in the Twilight Zone today. i'm still not acclimated to being back on my "regular" schedule after the departure of my son, DIL and The Grandmen, so i seem to be wasting a lot of time and doing not much of anything. just to make that official, i'm meeting a friend for coffee at 10 this morning. in the meantime, i still have a lot of vacuuming to do, post visit. i guess it will still be there when i get home. i will get my trusty Roomba in actioin on the wood floors and low carpets, while i do the plush carpets. have i ever told you how much i LOVE my Roomba? it doesn't do as well as a regular vac on carpet, but it's great for a quick clean-up and on wood floors.

Chris: 91!!!!???? we were in the low 80s, and i thought that was weird. but back to April weather today. in the 60s. hey. i love that "throw everything in a bucket" idea! maybe i'll think about having someone in to clean occasionally, now that i know about the bucket trick. i'm like probably most everyone: i have too much "stuff" lying around and would have to pick up before anyone could clean at my house. and LOVE that Catzilla page!

Laurie, glad you're feeling a bit better. you sound BUSY!!

Linda, are you doing homework? or home work? hope you have a relaxing day with not much on the docket!

Kristy, i want to see this fabulous page!

off to shower and get ready for the coffee date. have a great Tuesday everybody.

Morning ladies! Hooray its Tuesday  I plan on staying in my pj's for a long time and sitting right here for most of the morning! Then I have to go to the Bank sometime today. Hubby is at work today and so won't be underfoot, I love the guy but don't mess with my one day of peace and quiet :boxing: Trouble is I am so far behind with my scrapping that I don't really know where to start so I waste a lot time figuring out where to begin LOL. Oh well one thing at a time.

Chris - Happy shopping! I hate getting groceries, but we gotta eat right? Sure hope you get some garden therapy today, some of my bushes are already in bloom and it looks like the clematis will be showing its beauty soon too. I love this time of year!! Wow 90 degrees?? That's really unusual!! But our weather seems to be really crazy this year! I love your Catzilla page!! Such a pretty cat!! You must love her even though she drives you crazy sometimes!!

LindaS - Hope you get to have some scrap time squeezed into your day! Have a great one!!

Laurie - Sounds like you will have an interesting day !! Hope your clients aren't too hard on you! Glad the meds are working!!

Phylis - It is hard to get back to routine! Bet you miss everyone! Have a nice coffee break with your friend! Nice to know your Roomba works so well I have been thinking that I would like one for my wood floors, no carpet at all upstairs and I hate dragging out the central vac!

Kristy - Off to check out your layout! Hope your day goes well!

Better grab another cup of :tea: and get busy! Have a fabulous day everyone!!

Hi Donna  we cross posted!! You are making me feel guilty about not going out for my walk today LOL

Hi Donna  we cross posted!! You are making me feel guilty about not going out for my walk today LOL

Hello back at ya, Trudy! Enjoy your PJ morning!! No guilt! Wish life were so easy we could meet up and walk and talk...........my kind of exercise!

Yes Chris....a couple of weeks would be good??

So I rushed around yesterday to get ready, and Mike, Savannah and myself went to Walmart to grocery shop....WHAT AN EXPERIENCE....short version..Mike had to seek out a Manager and get a supervisor in trouble and we waited in the checkout line for 35 minutes before we even got to unload to pay.... While checking out the school called and said I needed to pick up Jaiden...she was scratching herself to death. She has inherited the "funky" skin that most of us in my Mom's family have, CHRONIC ECZEMA, and the allergy season makes it so bad!!! Called the Dr and he called in some meds for her. POOR THING..like she doesn't have enough going on already!!

I finally broke down and bought me some of that 5 hour energy stuff...I have looked and looked online to see if there are any bad side effects or anything bad going on with it....I can't see anything.....I took a bottle yesterday when I got home...besides it tasting like it could strip the paint off the walls, it wasn't bad...no jitters, no crash, just seemed to feel like my old self. I wasn't hyper, but I didn't feel like I needed to sit down every 10 minutes....so I could keep up with everyone much better!!! I suppose one of those every so often might not be a bad thing...Maybe I can clean the house in 4 hours instead of 12 :hurt:

Okay....better run...Jaiden's bus will be here in 15 minutes and I need to get all my papers on the table put up...

Have a great day ladies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Trudy, i'm really behind with myscrapping, too. the week+ off with the Grandmen Adventure really put me back a few paces. yesterday i decided to just START. and i got a page done. i think that first step is the hardest!

Nana, are you SURE there's nothing bad in that 5 Hour stuff? isn't it caffeine? or some herb that jumps you up? i need to go have a look! if there really isn't anything bad in it, it sounds like just what i need!

It does have caffeine in it......but it says the same amount as one cup of coffee....I don't see any of those "herbs" ...... I don't have anything to compare to, because most of that stuff scares me and I have never taken any...not even those energy drinks. But this stuff is on every shelf out there now....Walmart, drug stores, Target.....and I know several people who have taken it and have had no issues.

Late hello to all..I'm not sure where the day went as I only did laundry and that's kind of mindless. I have the DayOne app on my computer and phone, so I do have reminders twice a day to write something. It's good for old minds like mine that wonder...did I do that today or yesterday??? duh.

I am doing the layouts for Week 2 of my 365/Project Life album. Why week 2? Well that was the week we went to San Francisco and I planned to do it right after that when Dick was away. Instead, my life went to hell and back with my daughter. So...I now have time for that week, but I really really have a lot of photos and may just print some to include as regular album pages. I've been happy with that method tho I wonder if it will make my D ring album too fat?

Tomorrow is my library morning at the Detention Center. I'm into cropped pants now but can't wear open-toe shoes up there. I may just decide to look dorky and wear my walking shoes, and style be damned. I'm standing for most of those two hours so at least my feet and legs will be happy. Anyhow, it's not like I'm hunting for a man there!! LOL

cya tomorrow
