I will have to make this quick since I need to get Caitlyn up. I am not sure how "full on makeup" she wants to go for the meeting today, but when she does that, it will take a long time until she gets it all right. ;)

And now....W is awake and I need to bring her outside.
If I don't make it back for a while, I am sending hugs to all and have a great day!

I am back for a few-

Guess what is falling out of the sky right now? Something that makes me very happy? Heck, no!
It. Is. Snowing. :gaah:

It is only sticking to the cars but this is some crazy BS.

Cait ended up staying home from school yesterday but was abe to get in touch with her professors who caught her up on what she missed and needs to do. Thankfully, she is feeling much better so far today. She let Clover sleep on the bed with her last night and I know that helps her.
My mom asked me what was up yesterday and I ended up telling her about Clover and Floyd. She feels terribly for Cait. I was going to tell her when we see her this afternoon but she knew I wasn't being completely honest. I tried telling her that the 4 of us were fine-- that is true, so I wasn't lying. She knows me too well.

That is my day today- taking Cait to the meeting, then stopping at my mom's for lunch.

have a fab day, ladies!

Nancy- it will be so exciting for the playoffs! I have all of my fingers crossed that the Devils go far!
First fluid session for Floyd will be tomorrow. And I saw that too- 70* on Friday, I sure hope so since this feels more like early March than mid-April.

Trudy- must be so heartbreaking for your country at the loss of so many young lives. Ack! Scott used to do that tooth grinding. I forgot about it (blocked the memory!) until you said it and now I can see/hear him doing it- 20 years later LOL

Rae- You are so organized with your clothes. I am impressed!
I hope that B does better in the quieter room.
It must be frustrating for her to not remember and to not be able to do the things that she must know she used to be able to do.

Felis- great that you had a nice time at the party and that the weather was nice.
yeah, Cait's stress affects her immune system and her stomach. We have been dealing with her stomach issues since she was born but related to school for years and years.

Jean- feels good to have the taxes crossed off of your to-do list! Sorry about your train of thought. Happens to me all of the time.

I am off. xoxo

Morning O-zies! Guess what? Its rainy again, what else is new?? I am off to the pool this morning, it will be good to be back to doing my laps again! My neck has been sore the past couple of days so I am hoping this will help to stretch out those muscles and ease the pain. Usually my neck is stiff and sore when I turn my head from side to side, but this time its when I look up or down, so what is up with that? Not sure what I did, even ibuprofen is not helping at all. Meeting up with my SIL's for lunch at Bridgeman's Bistro, it should be a nice time and I am keeping my fingers crossed that the order I placed for them for Norwex products arrives before I go to meet them. But probably not, it will come right after they have gone home LOL. Oh well I can't make the delivery arrive here any quicker than it does, so I won't sweat the things that I have no control over. A quick facetime with Heather and Hunter before I hit the pool and other than that my day will be nice with a good visit with the SIL's!

Chris - I can't believe you are getting more :smow:!! Come on already, its almost the middle of April!! :gaah: when will spring arrive??? Glad to hear that Cait is feeling better today and that she was able to get caught up in what was happening with her missed classes yesterday! She has a lot going on in her life right what with Clover's tumor, having to get to this meeting and then dealing with school too! No wonder her stomach was acting up! I hope all goes well at the meeting today and that you have a lovely lunch with mom!

Rae - So nice that you are taking a break from being at the hospital! You need to do that once in awhile and so does J! It was a big relief for us when they moved Heather from the Neurology Critical Care Ward to a private room, although her Dr. warned us to keep her stimulated and to not let her just sleep all the time, her brain needed the stimulation to start to re-map. She got the best of care though when they finally moved her to the City Hospital where she started her re-hab, such an amazing hospital and wonderful patient care there! I hope that B continues to improve every day, it must be so worrisome for her to have this short term memory loss! I hope that improves with time as her brain heals!! my friend, I continue to hold you all close to my heart and send healing thoughts each day for all of your family!

Felis - How nice that you had warm enough weather at your party that you only had to wear T-Shirts!! It is so funny when I sing to Hunter, he just stops what he doing and just stares and smiles at me! I wish I could just reach through the computer screen and give him a big hug!! LOL. No paperwork will have to be done for the dog, they are moving within Canada so no worries about the hassels of paperwork. It is a huge country and they are moving four provinces away so it will take many days to get to their new home.

Ok I have to get off of here, Heather is calling and then I need to hit the pool! Catch up with the rest of you later on!

Back from the pool and it was amazingly, pretty quiet! Got in 25 laps and then decided I better hit the shower and get home to change for our lunch get together. The sun is out for a bit right now, but oh my it has gotten very windy!! Must be another system moving in on us which will most likely mean much more :rain:

Jean - I totally understand about losing the train of thought also!! Don't you hate when that happens!! Hope your weather is not too bad today and that you are doing something that makes you smile!

Off to the gallery for a bit, have a wonderful rest of the day everyone!

It is attempting to snow some more today as it did yesterday, but it is too warm to accumulate. How odd. A friend took us to lunch today but when we met at the restaurant, it wasn't open for lunch (though we've gone there before). We picked a casual place across the street instead. I think our friend was disappointed as she wanted to take us somewhere nicer. We were pleased though as it has been in the neighborhood for years but we'd never been in. As always it was good to get together. When we got home we heard a White-throated Sparrow singing his "Old Sam Peabody" song which made us smile. They are only migrants here (and a few over the winter) and this is the first one we've heard this spring. The male goldfinches are getting very yellow now, another reason to smile.

Felis, looks like you had a nice time over Easter and we're all envious of the warm day you had. Newspapers in the US have a very long running advice column called "Dear Abby" and today's column has a letter from a man in Bulgaria. Definitely was thinking of you when I saw it. Love the cheerful Easter themed weekly you did.

Chris, hoping your and Cait's day is going well. Sorry I wasn't around to explain my tough guy masking, but the page you did for that challenge is very handsome, like it a lot. Basically I created a duplicate group of the layers and merged it into a flat image then selected & promoted to layers rectangles out of it, one for the main image and then little ones around it. I put the little ones on top and all but one got a screen blend mode. Once satisfied I could delete the layers. (Merging might differ in PS as I use PSP and find I can only successfully merge layers if the bottom layer has a normal blend mode.)

Trudy, hope your neck feels better! Getting in 25 laps sounds good to me, but one would probably do me in. I'm sure you're having a great time with the SILs. I continue to be amazed at how much time you get to spend with the grands via computer. I know it isn't the same as IRL, but they get so much from you this way. It's one way technology really is great. Will you be getting any time for painting soon? I think you mentioned the possibility a while back.

Nancy, Rae thinking of you.

It's so strange that some of you still have snow!!! At Tuesday (which is now my yesterday) I mowed the grass. Everyone of my family have part which have to mowed. I keep mine with wild grass, which makes it pretty and more helpful for the bugs, than the part with one kind of grass, that my parents tried to do. But also is more difficult to mow, because the the height and the strength of the plants is different, so on some parts have to repeat few times. In one moment it's become more like some kind of comical paso doble dance. I was swirl around with the mower for partner and its cable in my hand instead of skirt.

Chris, hugs Cait and congrats her for being so brave! Strange, but to do the right thing is always more difficult?! I hope after meeting, she can take deep breath and to can shake off big part of the stress, and feels much better! I hope my yesterdays joke wasn't inappropriate! I was wondering long after that did in translation not lose sense for something lightness. I'm sure to have your mom close is also big support! Hope you had good time during the lunch! I expect first fluid session for Floyd to be easy and will wait to hear details.

Aww, Jean, this for the today's column is so sweet! I know these advice column, the mother from this book "House Rules" was working this. Actually almost every family in my country have members who lives in other countries. I don't remember did I shared this before, but my cousins lives somewhere near to the Niagara Falls, in it's US part.
How nice that you are been out with a friend! I also don't like to change my plans, but sounds like this closed restaurants is give you chance to find new nice place. I just love your new avi! It's so spring!

Trudy, sorry to hear for your neck! Hope that the swim is helped! Are you stayed too long focused on keyboard or book? I have the similar problem with neck and shoulders, and when is very bad I use arnica cream. Have fun with the SIL's!
hahaha, I of course know that Canada takes the top part of whole continent, but too often I thinks for the distance like here in Europe. We cross our country from west to the east for about 6 hour (without to make stops), so I wasn't realize how long travel will have to make your children. So they will be on a days distance from you, WOW, this is kind of sad! But I think you was mentioned that they will be close to Heather?! Which reminds me, this for Hunter, stares and smiles is SOO adorable! Is must be just lovely to have his love and admire for one short moment, before to become again in whirlwind from energy! I'm always wondering from where mothers/grandmas learned kids songs?! I think I know only one, but it's for the wolf and the seven little goats and I really, really hate this story, because create bad reputation to the wolfs and have sad final.

Ouch, I'm so talkative this morning, better to stop here! Have a lovely day, girls! :cof3:

Nancy, hope you have fun! And Rae that you can find some quiet, stress-free moments!
