Its 43*!!! Summer is NOT over until tomorrow!! Why is is soooo cold!!?? I am ready to turn the heat on in my house but its only September, cripes!!

I am sooooooooooo sooooooooooooooo soooooooooooooo happy that I have a remote start for my car. I got if for Christmas a few years ago and it makes such a difference being able to get the car warmed up a bit before I have to head out with the kids. Never thought I would need it now tho LOL

I survived my shopping trip. I spent waaaaay more than I was hoping but it is what it is. I came home with $9 left, so maybe that works out ok? I decided to not get something for my FIL's cousin. I'll feel weird when she gets here but what can you do? It is what it is.

Today is work and cleaning here, I am so amazingly original and fun-filled. :peace:

Temptation of Thursday:

Crank up the heat! :flame:

Laurie: Woooot!! You keep o n working out! Proud of you! (wish I could say the same for me LOL) I hope that you and the boss can work something, it doesn't seem right at all.

Terry- darn those brick walls!! At least you got one LO done. Did the tagging help get your mojo back? That helps me sometimes, just seeing all of the pretty papers and stuff.

pssssstttt...... Linda S...... Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C.......
Sorry for being a brat.
I know, I feel like I am a traitor to my gender how much I despise shopping. And I do-- I try to look for the perfect gifts and it makes it really hard, espe. on a budget.

Phyllis- Christmas shopping?? What's THAT???? :faint: I can't even begin to think of Christmas...... gah! No, we have 6 family birthdays between Sept 21 and Oct 6. All immediate family except one.
I have never been to a Whole Foods, but I like Trader Joe's when I can get out to on.
Turkey- I hate turkey , but I do have a recipe for a turkey and rice soup for leftovers that is surprisingly good. I think I have it on allrecipes. but I'll see if I can dig it up.

Nana- I hope that Jesse's day went great! Scott's sleep cycle is all messed up too and I can see the difference in him since school started.
That is awesome news about your dad!!!!!! Gary is the same way with music/guitars. Scott has the talent too. I wish I did! What a treasure, to see him play again!!!

P- that os what Gray says to me too. I used to really encourage him (I guess it was more like nagging in reality) to play since he got sick. I thought it would be good for him but it would just frustrate him more. TFS that -- since I don't have *it* in me, I never understood.

Kim-- mmmm, I love guac!!
I am going to look over you blog-- I really need to get working on mine, it has been so sad and neglected for months and months.... GREAT to hear that your block is gone!!

Andrea- I did see your FB, you know I stalk you! *giggles* I hope that you can get to designing and stuff again. I don't know how you do it all, you are a hero! I'll see if I can find anything out about CO2 extract.

Kayleigh, 7 months old already??????????????????
Holy CRAP!!!!!! Time really flies! I'll search for you now.
xoxo

Gotta get going, hope everyone has a fabulous day!! Love you all!

Okay..super busy today getting all the junk over to my Mom's yardsales are so NOT worth the pain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But it will be nice to spend two whole days together with my Mom and Sharon!! however though, I am hoping to make enough money to do the Christmas shopping for the kids...OR MORE!!!!!!!

I better run...I need to get the kids up for school...poor Jaiden has cried out all night in her sleep.....she told me yesterday evening about three times she missed her Mommy...just breaks my heart when she goes through these spells (they are not very often any more, but still there).

lOve the O!
Morning O fam- day off and I kept the alarm at it's normal time! I have my work out in, and I turned the heat on, but will turn it off- something about nightgown with pullover fleece that just didn't cut the mustard for my first cuppa! Now off to work on todays list- must do's paint the sides of the cabinets in the basement, mow the lawn and run errands/grocery shop! Eventually I will end up in the hot tub- cause I am achy all over from giving my best to the new exercise regime!

Chris. i win!! it's 39 DEGREES here as i type this! i kinda like it. nice not to have to keep throwing the covers off all night. for me, it's easier to make myself warmer than make myself cooler. i have my thermostat turned down to 55 degrees so the furnace won't come on. i'm trying to avoid my nose drying out and the stupid nosebleeds starting again.

gotta finish the cleaning i started and didn't finish yesterday. i honestly don't know where the days go sometimes. no because i'm doing so much, but because i sometimes just bumble around for the entire day and then don't have much to remember about what i actually DID. i did make a giant turkey dinner. at least i can point to that. i aklso tried to make a page. TRIED is the operative word....

gonna go out on the patio and do my roundandround walking as soon as the temps get into the 40s. maybe i'll walk faster!

have a good Thursday. better than good!

I am tempted to procrastinate today. I have these fliers I need to design for church, but I just don't want to sit down and do them. It doesn't help that I open PS to work on them and then think, "Hmm, or I could scrap!" Need to do some dishes and laundry, too. Gotta get ready for another weekend away. (Though just a couple hours away this time - and baby's coming with us.)

I hope Isaac has a better day today. He was so fussy yesterday and wouldn't nap at all. But he's already taken a two hour nap this morning, so I have hope!

Chris - I wish it were that cold here! We had a nice and cool day yesterday, but it's heating up again. I am ready for fall.

Phyllis - I'm the same way. I'd much rather layer and layer and layer than be hot and sweaty. I can go a long time without breaking down and turning on the heat, but I'm a baby when it comes to AC, can't stand much above 75.

TerryB - What's Emmaus exactly? I'm curious. I really need to start a prayer group again. I was part of a beautiful one a few years back, but schedules started to get in the way. I always think about starting it up again, but then I don't.

yesterday i took my mom to get a haircut and then I bought her a bunch of clothes-yay! Love it when i can find things that are casual and fit her. Its so hard with her in the wheelchair to shop and we can't try things on because it would take forever and wear her out completely. We had a nice afternoon.
Today i need to go for a run, then relax the day away scrapping!!!

You can find out more about the Walk to Emmaus here. http://emmaus.upperroom.org/about
We have a pretty active Emmaus community in our region. I look forward to our once a month "gatherings"--dinner and worship. If you haven't attended a "Walk" I highly recommend it. It will change your life.
