Hello and happy Thursday!

We have a beautiful fall day here on tap- sunny and near 70* This is good because I only had Princess J out once this week for training and she was being the Brat, so after a while, I changed it up so she would do something easy and then brought her back inside. I cannot believe that I have power struggle issues with a *dog*! But she can't "win" but I can't tailor things to make it easier on both of us. Wish I knew how to do that when Cait was giving me grief when she was younger. hehe

Yesterday was pretty boring- blood work, food shopping, IV. But I did finish three scrap pages. Two only needed fine-tuning and the third was from scratch, but it still is an accomplishment :first:

I end up typing in all caps often but it is b/c I can't type and hit the Caps lock key instead of Shift.

Dasha- Are you in Friday yet? I know that you are far ahead of me in the US. I am -4 GMT (IIRC). Hope that you are having fun here, I am smiling all the way through your hunk-thread. LOL

Trudy- yes, isn't is awesome seeing so many new-ish faces and the forums are hopping!
What a mess with your computer. :( I am glad that you were able to finally figure it out, but man, it should not be necessary! Cait was feeling better later in the morning, but she still needed some extra sleep. I hope that her stomach, and Scott's, are better soon. Scott's stomach has been upset for several weeks now.

Jean- how awesome to have a poinsettia growing in your yard (house?) I am sure that it is going to be stunning by the holidays!

good morning - Mets win! Swept the series! Sorry Chicago fans. My son is too cute. He was getting ready to go to visit his girlfriend and then flying with her to visit her mother. He was so nervous. Seemed to take forever to get going. Makes me smile. Yesterday was gorgeous so I got in w 2 good walks. One walk with Rex and one with my girlfriend. I think Rex really is enjoying his walk and he is calmer in the afternoon. Also yesterday was my teeth cleaning appointment and that always feels so good. So today is busy again. I have to take our kitty for her yearly vaccines. This will be an undertaking as I have to get her into her cat carrier. But then I will be back and take Rex for a walk. Then the rest of the day is mine. My Devils play tonight but they are away so will watch on TV.

Chris if Rex is the by product of constant loving training all I can say is in the end it is so worth it. Rex is just a joy! Hope Cait is feeling better. Glad you are trying out new recipes.

Claire sounds like the perfect birthday for Robbie! look forward to seeing a page!

Trudy glad you finally got your gym sold. And bummer about the photoshop problems. So funny because that is why I have not upgraded to the new operating system. I have had this computer for over 7 years and it is just how I want it so I just don't want to upgrade. But I do upgrade my iPhone and iPad. They just seem so much easier! I am trying to decide if this holiday time might be a good idea for a new computer. But hard to make that choice when my is working well.

Jean we had a poinsettia and they add such beauty but with the animals we just don't have them inside anymore! But they sure are pretty!

Sharron congrats on the new gig at Scrappaneers! Drop in every once in a while!

Morning ladies... Another foggy and cool morning here, some rain yesterday and it was much needed! Today is swimming day and not much else to do so hope to get back to work on the calendars and ads.

Chris - Hope your princess J smartens up for you soon! Happy International Caps Lock Day! I have a bad habit of using my Caps Lock where it shouldn't be used LOL!! Oh well no one here will scold me I hope! Glad to hear that your weather is so nice today, hope you can get out and enjoy the day today!

Nancy - Our Blue Jays are still hanging in there, but I think this will be the end of the line for them. Yes it really was a PITA to get my computer back to where I like it, still some small things to tweak on it but no more upgrades for me for a long time!! I would imagine if you get a new Mac that it will come with El Capitan and if you are running an older version of Photoshop then good luck!!

Jean - Wow your hubby must have really nurtured that poinsettia!! I bet it will be stunning in a month or so! Hope your weather is a bit nicer today!

Claire - Happy belated :bday: to Robbie! Hope he enjoyed his special day! Looking forward to seeing your page!

Sharron - I also belong to the Champions at Scrapaneers I am having a hard time finding time to do all the lessons and watch all the videos, but hoping to catch up there somehow or another! So glad that your swimming schedule is better and your grumpy lifeguard is a bit happier now!! We also use a good filter system and really don't smell like chlorine, but something is in the water for sure as it does leave a faint odor, not sure what it is they use but not like the old days when you came out smelling like a bottle of bleach LOL!! Hope you manage to squeeze in a visit or two between now and January!! It is really a super busy time of year for me too!

Ok I best get some breakfast and head out to the pool, trying to get past the 34 lap mark now, but ohhh its hard!! Have a great day everyone!! :wave:

Usual Thursday here, swimming, we travelled by taxi today as Robbie's bus pass had an unscheduled trip in the washing machine, so replacement is on its way by post.

yes, Chris i just woke up and it's Friday for me already, it's 14 hours between us) My time is GMT +10.
So now I'll grab my cup of tea and will come back tomorrow to tell you how my Friday was)
It's good to read that you all have a wonderful day)My Thursday was dull, daily routine, kids, lessons and cooking)
