Hey hey!! Good morning!

This is going to be a quick post from me. I am going with Caitlyn to her rheumatologist appt this morning and we have to leave at 8 am.
If she gets the job, she will get health insurance coverage and I am hoping that it will be a better plan than Medicaid. (Of course, it will be. Medicaid coverage- while *very* appreciated- doesn't have a lot of Drs participating so we have to travel over an hour to get there. This one is in a different county than the derm was so no crazy highways this time. Only "regular NJ" highways- which might be kinda crazy, just not reaaaally crazy LOL

I had a pretty dull day yesterday, but that is fine. I still need to finish packing up the party stuff but I don't have any newspapers to pack with, we haven't gotten a paper in a really long time so I might have to buy one just for this.
Scott has job orientation this morning and he also gets to pick out a new health insurance plan. I am so happy for him, although he doesn;t mind driving all over North Jersey to get to a dr like Caitlyn does.

Better get rollin' along
xo

@Cherylndesigns It's true, if they don't hire Caitlyn, they will have lost out, But think she has it. :D
Hope you got everything done that you needed to do

@tanteva That is a good feeling when you feel like you have accomplished something to be proud of and happy with ♥
Good luck packing you "not pajamas" hahaha

Good morning all.

I'm up early today. My cat and I had a crazy night. He couldn't stay out all night because it got down to below freezing and he actually came in on his own about 11 o'clock last night. He's such a brat when he can't go out. So, he got in my chair in the bedroom and curled up and went to sleep. When I got ready to go to bed, I couldn't even wake him up. I decided to let him sleep in my chair. Oh, no - that didn't work out. He jumped on me about 4 AM and it was over. I got him out in the living room, and I have to lock my bedroom door because he knows how to rattle the doorknob to open the doors. They're not regular "knobs" they're those kind of long, skinny handles, if that makes sense. I have a credenza between the bedrooms and he was sitting there crying and rattling. I kept yelling "No" and "Night Night". He finally gave up. I also have my air pods in my ears, listening to music and a sound machine on and the bathroom fan running, so I can drown him out. He started in again about 6 AM. UGH. I refuse to get up and let him out - we're going to be playing this standoff for a few nights while it's so cold out. He's such an outdoors cat - I dread winter coming because he's a little pot when he has to stay in.

Adrienne called me about 5 last evening and wanted meto go into town with her to the food truck We brought it back here and ate - Roger's out of town, so she came down here.. It's that food truck that we all love so much. It's Tai food. Oh, good news - Braden got his official letter of acceptance to the University of Arkansas! We're all so thrilled for him and he's really happy. His grades are so high that they waived his out-of-state tuition!! That is going to save them a lot of money! I was hoping he'd get a scholarship, but this is great - almost like one.

Chris, good luck to Cait today - hope she gets a good report and good that you didn't have to go on the super busy highway. It's wonderful that both kids will have good health insurance! That's a big perk and part of a salary - everybody needs that in their salary package. Hopeing to hear good news about Cait's job today.

Lynn @Lynn Grieveson I saw your post about wishing you were 54". Here's what that gets me - my grandchildren are giants. My grandson, Braden is as tall as a tree and the cowboy hat he wears doesn't help. LOL I look like a shrimp beside him.
