Daily Ooos: Thursday, October 2

I am back! And I have to admit, it doesn't seem like you missed me. At ALL!
I read through the last three days of the Ooos and I think everyone has more fun when I am not here.
Mayhem and ketchup. Ketchup and more mayhem.

I missed you guys very much. I was heartbroken that I wasn't here.
(Did that make you feel a little guilty? LOL)

Honestly, I was so busy eating, I don't think I had time to miss anyone. We tried two new restaurants and went to two of our favorites. The weather was sort of good, sort of not good. It didn't rain, which was a plus. But the wind! My goodness-- The wind was in-sane. We left after lunch yesterday because it was too windy to even sit near the beach. The hurricanes caused a Gale Warning, so even though it was sunny, the wind and waves were intense. I think I got a few decent pictures of the waves. Tuesday was a good beach day- it was windy, but not to the point where we couldn't even sit.
Overall, it was a wonderful time and I hope we can go back again next year.

I am over the moon glad that I am not working or cleaning for my friend today. I have so much to do. Between laundry, Oscraps work, and Weis work, I'll be busy all day.

@vickyday as much as it stinks, I am glad that you are getting your mammo done. Torture device is an understatement.

@BrightEyes I bet you are thrilled to have the sink working again. I hope that you are starting to get more energy back as you have been running your errands.

@AK_Tracy BFFs packing plan was not helpful. I ended up packing way too many shorts and way-not-enough warm pants. But I did have the deodorant!

@vickyday, we are starting to get color on the trees but the leaves have been dropping quickly.
I hope that you slept much better last night after the crummy night/stomach before.

Unfortunately, I didn't sleep well last night.
I have a doctor's appointment in a couple of hours. Hopefully we can figure something out! I'm exhausted, no energy and sick and tired of being sick and tired!

Heading out to see the PC doctor in a couple of hours. I've been nauseous for a couple of weeks and running to the bathroom around the clock is wearing me out. The last time I felt this way a couple of years ago I ended up having a UTI which is weird. Anyway, please send a prayer up for me today. I would appreciate it!

Morning, all. On the cool side this morning...53*F at 8:30AM... but heading up to low 80's this afternoon. It will be the same for the next few days... with no rain until next week. So glad as Saturday will be the start of the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. One of my favorite events of the year here. Hoping the "box" winds send a lot of the hot air balloons over my neighborhood so I can get some photos of them. It will be cold enough that I need to wear a heavy robe as I stand in either the front yard or backyard with the camera. Yesterday during my running errands, I noticed that some of the trees are starting to change to autumn colors. Will be a few more weeks until it reaches the peak of fall colors.

Think that today will be a PJ and do nothing day so I can recover from all the running around I have been doing. Oooops... forgot that I still have to repackage the pork chops... I was too tired to do them yesterday. Moving all the bins/cleaning supplies back under the sink can wait a few more days. The back is 'iffy' so not going there yet.

Yes, @faerywings it is great to have my sink/disposal working again!!! BTW... you were missed so much while you were gone. Sorry the weather was not the best at the shore but sounds like the eating out was really nice.

@vickyday So sorry you are feeling so bad. Sending lots of 'get well' thoughts your way. Hope the PC can figure out what is going on.

@faerywings Welcome home! I'm so glad you had a great time even if the weather wasn't the most amazing. At least it was fun and. break. Sounds like a fun time. And eating at new places sounds super yummy too.

@vickyday Hope you get some answers at the doc office. I can imagine how wore out you must feel with your tummy being so upset so much.

@BrightEyes Glad youre taking a PJ day. You need one after those two days running around.

Its a beautiful 37° and the sun is rising and the rain has paused. Yesterday absolutely poured all day long. We made sweet n sour chicken with rice last night. I wish the staff would let me know (weeks) ahead of time not the night before that the teens will be having a party and wont be at dinner. We served 108 instead of 150 and man we had leftovers. It was crazy. Knowing the teens would be having their own potluck and fun would have been so nice, then we would only make enough food for 120. Oh well, lots of people got to take food home so that was nice. Today I get a massage. Going to see if we can work out the tight muscles causing finger numbness. Next week. we get cracked by chiropractor and I cant wait. Last adjustment was back in January. Then when I was ready the Dr had emergency surgery and was out, still is, finally they have a replacement temp doc. I need my back cracked. Well, must run. Over slept today and need to get going.
