GooooooOd morning my O-Fam!!!!

whew. I think today is going to be a sorta normal day for me, How cool is that?? Kids should have a regular full day. I am not babysitting today so his wacky school schedule doesn't affect me. And I am working!!!!! I am not getting paid until next week (his girlfriend pays me and she didn;t make it out here last weekend), but at least its work!!!! My fingers are crossed that I'll be working again tomorrow. Baby steps forward.....:thumb:

The snow storm stayed east of us thank goodness. But not to the poor people east of us. Over 8'' of snow and coastal flooding where Sandy hit. I hope that Nancy is ok.
Yup yup, Mother Nature is not happy and I blame in on the cast of jersey Shore hahaah!!! JK! They are from NY anyway.

I have a recipe for Pumpkin Bread Pudding that I want to make, but it looks sooooo fattening!

Morning O fam- a day off a day off and no errands to run- how exciting is that, cleaning, working on the basement and a new stamp set and bow maker arrived in the mail yesterday- I need get my hands on paper- I may even make Christmas cards this year. I have the week before Thanksgiving away and my husband will golf, we will go to wineries and the Jefferson's plantation, but other than that I will have play time! Plus I think there is a frost, so if I haul you know what into clothes I can go get some amazing sun shining on frosty weed photos- sunrise 7:13- yikes guess I really need to think about clothes!

I'm getting p*ssed over here. It's Father's Day in Sweden on Sunday. Ordered a gift on-line on Monday ... now I was wondering why the stuff haven't arrived yet. Logged on to the site, and it says it hasn't been shipped yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (stealing all of Jen's exclamation marks to show how upset I am)

It's Thursday today - not shipped. Fun! We don't get mail on Saturdays in Sweden, so ... I'll most likely won't get the gift in time! F*** them! Contacted them - got an automatic reply that they will contact me within 24 hrs.

Ordered from another company yesterday ... just got a text that the package can be picked up. Wish I had ordered dad's gift there.

Eva, i would be so pissed. in fact i AM so pissed. i have the same thing happening to me with Amazon and some Christmas gifts that need to be mailed SOON if they're to get to The Grandmen for Christmas. i ordered the stuff, and THEN they tell me to expect them in about 10-14 days. well, i keep thinking that it beats the heck out of actually shopping in a mall or Toys 'R Us.:fear:

Phylis- I guess so, you see my emphasis was on wineries- my fingers are frozen- just went out to take frosty pics with the sun behind them- now to have a cuppa to warm them up, and dl to my computer to see if I am as good as I think. I love seeing special in the ordinary! No exercise for me yet- but do not be alarmed- think I will work out "live" at 1130 today. So excited the sun is shining

Morning, girlies!!!! I'm figuring everything out again, and I am in the middle of my first cup of coffee, so the IV of caffeine is starting to hit!! Yay!!! I just know you guys have missed my long lists of to-dos!!! well, I have to say that when I switched my blood pressure meds over to beta blockers, my life calmed down a whole lot! (btw, I think I've been instagramming and tweeting a bit much...I almost put a hashtag on the end of that sentence!! LOL!!!)

Anyway, today, I'm getting the house cleaned up a bit. My darling Emma did my dish handwashing, but she didn't really use enough soap, so I'm not sure if I should make her do them all again when she gets home from her outside class this morning. (#firstworldproblem - I had to do it!!!) And no one can find clothes to wear, so that means I've fallen down on my folding job...Mr Gorgeous still does laundry....ohhh my, i love that man!!

AND I'm getting paid to learn Wordpress and work on four web sites for Mr Gorgeous' company! (thus the computer!) and I'm blogging for them, too!! For money!! what???? Can I tell you how excited I am???? There is a potential of making an extra chunk of change that can maybe, just maybe can be set aside for a TRIP to Hawaii in a few years (25yr anniversary is in 2016...that's enough time, right????) I'm super excited! And so is Mr G and his business partner!!

We are having a "Charlotte's Web" party at the park this afternoon. Lillian finished her unit study on that book last week, and I promised her a party. I'm cheating since I dont' wanna clean the house and have little wild ones mess it right back up again. So to the park we go! We are going to do oreo cookies with licorice for the legs again!

Morning my besties as Amy Farrah Fowler would say, another sunny day here on the West Coast. :washing: to do today and a bit of cleaning, but other than that I am going to try to get most of one calendar finished. Everyone keeps interrupting me :rant: don't they know I'm trying hard to be creative??? Sheesh!!! LOL Well at least I'm trying!! I have to make a big pot of soup and a lasagna today also, so that is the extent of my not so busy day.

Chris - glad that you are having a semi normal day today and that you will soon be back at work and getting paid again!! BONUS!!

Laurie - Don't you just love days off where you don't have to go anywhere!! Ohhh I think that I should order me a bow maker too!! I love those gadgets and I just love to wrap prezzies and make them pretty, where did you get yours??

Kind of a weird day here. We have a storm coming in and when I fell asleep last night the tree outside my front door was covered in leaves (still mostly green) and when I woke up the tree was completely bare. The wind is so strong it is banging a tree branch in the wall of the house and every time it hits the girls jump and Addie cries a little.

Does anyone have one of those books where you can record your voice reading the story for kids? My mom got one for Kaylyn last year for Christmas and she was a bit young to appreciate it but now it's her favorite thing. She loves books, so one being read by her Nana just blows her mind. She gets the same look of surprise every time her voice starts to play. It's kind of magical =]

Addie is trying so desperately to catch up with Kaylyn. SHe just started crawling a few weeks ago (way sooner then Kaylyn did) and now she is already standing herself up against things and walking along them (also way earlier then Kaylyn). I'm excited for her but it makes me sad. I want my babies to stay babies for awhile and I'm sitting here going "OH man Kaylyn is already almost 2, these kids will be in kindergarten before I even know what has hit me!" I'm sure everyone has gone through this.

Chris - you make me chuckle! I'm so glad that you gain regain the normalcy in your life. Have a super fun day!!

Sally - 25 Years!! My 6 year wedding anniversary is this year and I'm a little proud considering my generation gets married and divorced in less time then that. Not to say we haven't had rocky waters but we stuck it out. cOngratulations!! That is an amazing achievement!

Guess all I can do is tell dad that he'll get his gift as soon as I get it.

Yes actually pirating is such a problem record companies aren't producing as many actual CDs anymore. Plus A LOT of people (that do pay for it) order their albums through iTunes or AmazonMP3. A very small percent of people still buy CDs these days. It's silly though that they would still have it up for sale if it's out of stock.. I'm sorry that is messing up your present. Good luck to you. Luckily most dad's are really understanding =] Father's day here is in June and I made my dad's present with my daughters and I still haven't mailed it. lol

you know what's funny and shows just how NON-techno am??? when i hear about people "pirating" tunes and videos, i think to myself:how the heck do people even DO that? the mechanism just escapes me. the only thing i could think of is that someone sits in front of a computer while a movie is playing and tapes it with a camcorder. honestly. i am totally retro. meaning "old." and analog.
