GoooOd morning, O-zies! I can't believe that it is Thursday already. This is freaking me out because that means Thanksgiving is *next week.*:scared:
On the positive note, that also means that my grumblings about how much I hate this time of year- the hustle and bustle and stress of trying to get it all done- will fly by. Yeah, that is the way to look at it.

(right???)

I was able to get a few things done yesterday to prep for today which was a relief. My plans are to make an in-shower moisturizer lotion and a solid lotion bar. The solid lotion bar is a new one and a copycat of a Lush bar. But I am adding blueberry seeds and tangerine essential oils to mine. The liquid lotion is a recipe I have made before but I am using a Vanilla Fig scent this time around. I was able to create and print some of the labels yesterday so hopefully, all should go smoothly with it today.

I also researched puppy stages of development and found that yes, between the ages of 7-9 months, puppies will sometimes regress with chewing, fears, and housebreaking. She had two more accidents in the house yesterday and that means I have to steam clean the carpets this weekend so I can get the scent out from them better than the spray cleaners.

It is raining right now but not too cold so that is also a plus.

Wishing you all of the best of everything today!

Felis- I really understand your mood so well and the best therapy I can think of is spending time with your dog. Ravyn has the softest ears and it is soothing to both is us when I stroke them while I watch TV. I hope that you feel better soon.
Our vet and staff are amazing, we couldn't be happier with them. They really are on top of everything and we really love them. I was pregnant with Scott when we first started going there so they tease me when they remember how I used to waddle in with the pets. And now my kids are adults. ;)

The cat pees in the upstairs bathroom and that is the kids' so I haven't caught him. They forget to keep the door closed. Ugh.

Nancy- the fan club meeting sounds like it was a lot of fun and how cool would it be for your son to help out. Your dinner sounds yummy! How was your time with your girlfriend?
I am going to have to look online to see what juncos look like and keep my eyes open for them.

Trudy- hope that you had a great time on your hike. Any luck with those damn toys? :p

Rae- Did you hear from the guy about the lens? I love all of your macro photography but I imagine it will be nice to have something easier to carry.
I think the accidents in the house are that she still isn't sure how to get our attention and that sometimes we miss her "gotta pee" cues. She is an attention hog so I think we end up petting and playing with her when she really needs to go out. The nipping has gotten better but the shoes, she loves to grab shoes! Thankfully, she is very food motivated so she gets treats for everything good that she does ha!!!

Look at that! Jean has a link about juncos for me already! You rock!!
Hope that you are feeling a bit more energetic today than you did yesterday.

Thank you all for the good thoughts on Muffin. She is doing well and is very happy to be snuggling with Cait. Such a cutie pie!

Hello girls,
it's rain again, but I don't mind. Tomorrow my sister have some business at the capitol and I'll go with her. Depends of how time will take her meeting and do rain will allow us, I hope to can go to see the lion statue in memorial for the soldiers from the Balkan Wars, which was put on a new place at the center. I already saw beautiful pics of it and hope to can make mine. I'm exciting! Also we will going around the shops to see some ideas for presents for the upcoming holidays. If we can do the grocery shopping too, will be awesome, because this will give me free weekend!
After I don't put pressure on myself yesterday, I finally found small ''my time'', which I spent to comment into the gallery. I have photos and kits for 3 pages, but not clear idea what to do. I feel like all my pages are similar. So I was hoping on inspiration, and I think I got some ideas, but will need few more time to clearise it. Can't believe it's the middle of the month!

Chris, kids, what could do them!?! I mean pets. In some moment I also gone mad, but then I remind myself that human child need 3 years to learn, then puppy few months and kittens even fast. Adoption means that you are got some old habits too, but you will remove them don't worry! I still argue that it's a matter of the character, but I think that age also play. W is still young. As far as Floyd , till I cleaned up after my cat yesterday, I was thought about that in this cold time if they have to go to other floor to the cat toilet, they aren't so energetic and just find a hidden place. My problem is they are outdoors put inside, so I hope to resolve it faster with ''conversation'' .

Jean, it's normal to feel needs of nap till you work so hard onto your presentation. The brain just needs distraction. I watched at Dr.OZ that 10 minutes afternoon nap gives you restart, but I just can't wake up after so short.

Rae, I hope you had luck with the lens buying! Our dog keyword is "Want a Pikachu" :) . The shows I was watched was ''Breaking bad'', because we still try to catch up the last season, but it wasn't it, it was just old that I don't remembered good. And after that I catch ''Midsomer Murders'', season which I'm not watched before, so I watched the yesterday's episode too, but I really shouldn't, because is too late and can't sleep enough.

Trudy, so great that you had sunny day, hope it stays this way through the whole hiking! Did you make many photos?

Nancy, so great about the fan club meeting! If you popolarized it at the social media next time will have more people, I'm sure, but I can't say do this is good or bad. What about chicken and peas (chicken or rice) for dinner idea?!

Have a lovely day all! ::grouphug

good morning - well it is drizzly and cloudy but should end soon. Luckily my DH had Luther out late so he is sleeping. I will take him when weather clears at bit more. Had a nice time with my girlfriend at dinner. We talked hockey. It is always fun as she is a die hard NY Rangers fan while I am a NJ Devils fan. So we always try to be tolerant of the other team but it is hard as they are such rivals. I am glad they do not play each other that often. And we both hate the Flyers and Penguins. I have been reading this author Abbi Glines and she usually does books in 3 so last night at midnight she released book 3 and so I stayed up late well 1am reading the first of the book. These are just for fun reading. But I need to find out how they end. Tonight my team is playing the Toronto Maple Leafs and that will be a tough game as they are young fast and super talented. Last time they played they took my team to be the bad team they were last year. That won't happen this time. But this time I have one of my best defensive players back. So it will be fun!

Chris I loved seeing the photos on Facebook at the vet with Muffin snuggling. I would keep going to them too since they are so sweet to the pets. I know I too can't believe it will be Thanksgiving so soon. Glad you are getting so organized for you goodies!

Felis thanks for the nice comments on my pages. Luther is a beautiful dog and people often tell me when I am out with him. Makes me very happy for him and for me though I had nothing to do with it LOL. Your trip to the capital sounds fun. Hope the weather cooperates and you get your photos.

Trudy glad you got to head out on your hike! Loving seeing the photos of the area you live in. Bet it was good to go out. Did Heather's lead for the toys pan out? Hope the man cold is going away!

Rae how fun to find shows to binge watch. My girlfriend's daughter says I have to watch Stranger Things and that season 2 was even better. I told her to watch Riverdale.

Jean that is too bad that there were not a lot of birds for your DH. But the wind does really cut down on the number that come.

Have a great day all!

Morning ladies... I had another horrible nights sleep, DH was snoring so loud!! He woke me up out of a deep sleep and even though I yelled at him to turn over, it didn't help. He would snore lying on his sides and not just his back. :gaah: So I went to the couch to try to get some ZZ's but no luck, that just made my back hurt. Finally went back to bed around 5am and all was quiet so I slept until 7:30 but feel like I will be dragging my butt around all day now. He doesn't usually snore so much, but I think it is because of his cold and then he takes medicine before he heads to bed and that just puts him in a really deep sleep. Oh well next step will be to smother him with a pillow :becky: Yesterday's hike was very nice, although not a long or difficult one, the rain held off for the most part, we did have some drizzle at the last hour or so, but nothing horrible. The falls at Stocking Creek we like looking at Niagara Falls wow there was a lot of water !! I found out that my new hiking boots are totally waterproof as there were a few very large puddles that we had to go through and my feet stayed nice and dry. Anyway today I plan to finish off my calendar and paint some more on my nativity, perhaps do a page for here at the O, just a lovely day of scrapping and being lazy! I think that maybe my mojo has begun to return, perhaps I needed the day of fresh air and hiking to get me out of my funk?

Chris - Yikes your Thanksgiving is only a week away?? How did that happen? It will be one month from today that Heather and Jonah and the kids arrive!! :bliss: We were talking this morning and she wants me to make a hair appt for herself, she says she needs some pampering LOL. So I will make it for when the guys are able to watch the kids for a few hours and we can spend some time just the two of us and the hairdresser. Sure hope your prep goes well for your faerywing products! I bet that the moisturizer is a big seller and smells heavenly! I have to go check out your Facebook post of the great staff at your vets and Muffin. I hope that you have a productive day, but don't wear yourself out now :nono:

Felis - I am happy that you will have a nice day with your sister tomorrow! I hope that you manage to find some lovely ideas for gift giving! Getting your grocery shopping done also would be nice, more time to spend on scrapping and playing with your pets! I need to get to the gallery and catch up on commenting also, I have been a bad cheeryO lately and have not done much this month so far. I did take a few photos of my hike yesterday and hope to have them put into a layout soon.

Nancy - Luther was kind enough to let you wait until the weather improves for a walk, what a great dog he is ! How nice that you and girlfriend can talk hockey and not get too riled up about your rival teams! So funny that you both hate the Penguins and the Flyers, just like we hate the Habs and Leafs!! Poor DH's Bruins are looking pretty sad this year, unlike your Devils who are doing so well . I will be cheering for your Devils tonight to beat the Leafs :cheer2: I am happy to announce that we have found those silly fingerling toys finally and they are being shipped out to me. :bliss: Yay now on to other things for Christmas. I hope you and Luther get in a nice walk today!

Rae - So now I no longer need you to check into the fingerlings when you go to Bellingham, but I thank you so much for offering to help me out! I hope that your workday is not too hectic today! Did you end up meeting with that person with the lens that you wanted? Hope you and Taz have a nice day together!

Jean - Your wishing for luck finding the toys must have helped! So glad to now move onto searching for other things LOL. Sorry that your hubby did not have much luck with his bird survey yesterday. That Dark eyed Junco is a bird that I am sure I have seen around here in the summer. A lot of our birds have moved on for the winter, but I still am amazed at how the hummingbirds stick around for the whole year here. Hoping that you have a lovely day today!

I am off to grab another cup of coffee and then I am on a mission to finish off this calendar and a few other things today. No swimming for me today, I am just too out of sorts from my bad sleep last night to attempt the laps today. Perhaps tomorrow. Have a great Thursday everyone!

Good morning, ladies. Started my morning off with a coffee and working on a LO for the upcoming collab (which is just stunning). I have to get to work now and am waiting to hear back from the guy about the lens. He emailed me late last night saying he didn't see my message about meeting at lunchtime. If he's a flake and it doesn't work out, I'm ok with that, but if he contact me this morning I will meet him today. I did shoot some backyard shots with my 105 macro in manual mode yesterday for a few minutes at lunchtime (in my neighborhood FB album). That was fun. I love to get close to things and see the textures and how the light affects it. So fun.

Anyway, I'll come back later and read the personals and comment but just wanted to say good morning and off I go to work. Have a great day.

Can't believe how dark it is. With cold and windy it's not very nice. I'm with Chris in being stunned that Thanksgiving is a week from today. If I can get through Saturday's talks, I don't think I have much the rest of the month. Sure hope so.

Chris, hope you are creating those heavenly F-W lotions and filling your home with the aromas. Good to hear that W's behavior is probably normal. Give her a hug!

Felis, how nice to go with your sister to the capitol. Should be a nice visit with lots of things to see and do. Hope you do a page with photos of the lion statue. And thanks for realizing that my mind is really otherwise occupied. I've assembled photos for my week 45 but still have to journal and finish it.

Nancy, good luck against the Leafs tonight. How fun with your girlfriend being a fan of a rival team. My nephew married a Detroit Lions fan, but he almost never went out with her in the first place because of it. Now they coexist with being fans of rival teams, though neither team is very good now. Hope you and Luther have a good walk despite the weather.

Trudy, I had to read DH your snoring comments, including the pillow. I think he was amused? He's dodged the pillow remedy for a lot of years and I can sleep through almost anything as a result. Hope you feel better as the day progresses and especially that you get the scrapping done. Nice to learn your boots really work and to have a nice hike. Wow, the falls must be amazing. Cheers for the fingerlings! Glad that's checked off now. Just don't forget the batteries (though I assume they come with the little critters.)

Rae, good luck with the lens. Sounds like fun with the 105mm anyway.
