Oh man! I am seriously running late today. I mean way later than usual!
I am going to just open this thread up and will come back after I get the kids off to school. I am cleaning two houses today so I wont have lots of time but I will be back to say hi!

OK, kids are off and I have 5 minutes beofre I need to move on to my next project ;)

Laurie-- did you do your workout? Bet you did! Keep it going!!!! I was good yesterday too. Cait didn;t want to walk after school since she had homework, so i went my myself- well, me and the dog. :p But I was wearing flip flops and now my legs are sore.

Linda S-- what plans do the kids have after soccer ends? Hopefully nothing quite as time consuming. How is the new house schedule going?
I haven't seen any "labor" updates from Trudy either. I can't imagine how impatient she and her DD are.

Well Nancy, it looks like summer is here! How in the world can it be 40* a few days ago and now near 90 today?? This is just nuts! I hope that Scott can help Gary get the a/c's into the windows today.
Are the Jack Reacher books the ones that your son reads too?
I have to get my summer reading started soon.:)

Phyllis- yup-- sickness and health...... that is us. Someday we'll have health again. Someday. Hopefully well before we die!!!! :rofl:

Quick drive by here. Rain, rain, and more rain! Insane! This weather has been crazy. I suspect that my road to work may be closed by roads flooded. That will make me crabby. Haven't seen it on the news so maybe not.

Kids are really in play mode today...Syd is wearing pjs to school. Her math class is watching a movie and having a snack buffet. Then for lunch the teachers are buying them pizza and pop. Shaun gets extra recesses. A total waste of time!

Ok...to the shower for me. My house is hot and sticky...a nice cool shower will feel good.
 
Good morning! Chris the weather is crazy! But I love 70s in the mornings. Will be nice to go outside and not feel cold or have to put on a coat or sweater LOL. Had a lovely dinner at my girlfriends house. She made a farrow (hope I spelled that correctly) salad and it was really good. She is vegan so she experiments all the time to find good food to eat and she tries them out on us. But it was really good. Came home and watched the Blackhawks/Redwings game. It was so exciting. What an ending. Glad the Blackhawks won. Now no hockey until Sat.

Chris hope your day goes well. My DH and I are the Jack Reacher readers.

Linda sorry about all the rain. Hope you make it to work along your normal drive.

hiya. just a fly-by for me, too. gotta go out and run errands all over the place. stuff that needs bought or taken care of before we head for the beach later ths week. then i have to start cleaning the house before we leave. i hate to come home to a house that isn't in order. it's kinda sad (when i don't clean house before we leave) to come home from vacation and discover that the House Elves haven't put it in tip-top shape while i was gone....

i hope the sun is shining where you are, for at least PART of the day. wow. is it ever GREEN outside!
 
morning O fam - I am loving my day off- so far I have mopped the basement lounge, washed the sheets, walked around outside in my jammies and took photos of my flowers, ironed my shirts - forgot my shorts- ate breakfast, started washing/drying the sheets, updated my banking program, talked to my husband and now I am off to make the bed, make a grocery list, pay bills, do my strength training and get ready for my annual ladies visit at the drs and womens imaging. Then I will drop off at goodwill, the library, get groceries and possibly some plants, come home and grill and read on the back deck with a glass of wine. Sounds like a fine day to me!
 
work out done- yeah - now off to iron my shorts and then get ready for the rest of the day. Decided to head to Sam's club with my son, so he can purchase food stuffs to take with him to his new job.
 
it seems that I am not the only one crazy busy. It is the last day of my girl's school (son has 1 more day). 2 days ago, my eldest daughter got stung by a bee and it got infected. Spent last night up with her watching to see if the infection would spread. The anti-biotics took longer than I liked to start working. Finally, it abated and she is back to school.
 
Hey girlies... yup still waiting :mmph: hurry up baby, granny is getting a bit impatient!! Its hot and very humid here today, so I washed windows outside for my DD and now she is watching her soap opera and then we are putting clothes away in the new dresser that she got from the Aunties on DH's side of the family. Baby's room is almost all ready!! Just missing the baby part of it LOL. Hope everyone is doing well, I miss you all and have not been able to do any CheeryO things for almost a week now and feel very quilty!! But I am needed here for sure so that is what's important! Have a great day everyone and know that I love you all!! :hug: :kiss:
 
Wow Trudy...still waiting! Sounds like you are doing lots of great work however so can't go wrong with that. Maybe tomorrow...or tonight...
