GooOd morning, dear Os! I hope that all of you are having a great start to the day. My day is getting a bit better after 2 big mugs of coffee. I can honestly say that I was tempted to stay in bed this morning and almost caved. Didn't help that Gary told me to stay in bed. He is a bad influence.

But here I am, gearing up for the day. PT was rough yesterday, she increased all of the tension on the resistance bands. Today she is adding some new things to do as well. Yikes.
I asked the woman I know from my vet's office if she can use any of the cat stuff I have left. This is the woman whose gorgeous therapy dog passed on last month. She also runs a hospice for cats who are positive for feline leukemia at her house. She rescues babies from the kill lists and fosters them for as long as they have time left. A bunch of them will go negative after retesting, and those she finds homes for. I made it clear to her that we are not in the market for any more cats at this time LOL This woman is incredible and I am happy that she can use some of Floyd's things.

I tried scrapping a page and I am so tapped out. It didn't help that my computer locked up on me again and I lost a lot of what I had done. pfft.

When I get home from PT today, I am going to scrub everything down and run them over to the office, Floyd's pawprint is ready to be picked up too. Cait said we need a bigger shelf for them. We have quite a few.

But that is my day, nothing exciting. I will take nothing exciting over incredibly stressful.

Wow, I reread my post and I sure am rambling.

Trudy- Thank you for all of your help behind the scenes for me yesterday. Congrats to your cousin on 50 years! They will love the coasters/trivet. It makes me happy that you are sharing your art. It is so much nicer than something impersonal from a dept store. One of Scott's friends makes these awesome resin pieces, pendants, planchettes, skulls, etc that she sells on Etsy. I wanted to buy one from her to give to my neighbor for her b-day we are going to in 2 weeks. She didn't want to charge me for it but thankfully Scott told her that we respect artists in our house. hehe. She only charged us for materials but Scott gave her more than that. Good kid of mine. (again, I am rambling....)
I saw the pic of Sadie on FB--10 years old! Wow!!!!
I am thrilled to hear that you are much happier with the painting re-do. I guess you know in your heart when it isn't "right."

Rae- sunshine is the best medicine along with laughter. Bet it felt wonderful to get out in there with Taz for along walk.
Good luck picking out your photo entries and all of my fingers are crossed that you win!!

Jean- how was the meeting yesterday? Bet is was neat for DH to hear about the surveys. Thx for the hugs.

good morning - it is sunny and the temp should get in to the 50s so it is pretty nice. Yesterday was off to do errands. Got myself new tennis shoes and donated my old ones to the store for recycling. That makes me happy! My Devils lost to the Knights but that was expected but just sad it was a shut out. They do not play now until Friday at home. The weather has been so good that I have been having great walks with Luther. Yesterday I needed a coat but did not need a hat. And I have been cooking so that is good. I have also gotten hooked on Tony Hillerman books. He writes about mysteries that take place in AZ and NM and involve Navajo police. He describes the area so beautifully and I love ready about the Navajo culture plus the mysteries are good. Not much else.

Chris I am so sorry about Floyd. It is so hard to lose a pet to know the correct time. I am glad you all got to say good bye. I love the idea of his paw print! I am glad you PT is going well and that she thinks you should be new exercises! Sending hugs.

Trudy wow that is amazing how fast Sadie is growing and that they are going to Africa - that will be amazing. Glad you are now happy with the painting. Too bad there is not an erase button or delete as in digital work. Have fun at the 50th anniversary party and I think handmade gifts are the best! Good luck to you in your reunion planning.

Rae have fun on your lunchtime walk with Taz. And good luck on the photo contest I would vote for personality for sure and you have some great photos.

Jean how was the bird meeting. I bet it must be interesting to see what birds are on the up swing and which are declining. Hope your weather improves. We will be in the 60s next week.

Sunny today and supposed to warm up a bit. I have art class this afternoon. The bird club talk last night was well done and interesting, but not a lot of conclusions other than that lots of birds do use the nature preserve. The few survey volunteers, including DH, were asked to stand also which was nice.

Chris, you're a sweetie already passing along Floyd's things. Hope five rats are able to give you lots of cuddles. I hate when the computer locks up and I lose scrapping, but after lots of bad words it sometimes comes out better. Good luck with the PT, but increasing the pressure probably means you're improving?

Good morning everyone. Busy with CT and desk work. Need to run errands later too. I'm getting off the computer for most of the morning so I can get lots of work done. I've got a busy wkend coming up so don't want any leftover desk work to spill into my wkend schedule so need to be diligent with work schedule today and tomorrow.

Chris - what a good thing to pass on some stuff to the rescue woman. She sounds wonderful.

Good afternoon ladies... well my morning was very busy, I got my face time chat in and then my laps. Quickly had to come home as sister Wendy wanted to come for coffee. How could I say no?? She is now only working 3 days a week and so she has a couple of free days and it will be good to be able to see her more often! So by the time she left it was 1pm and I had not had anything to eat yet. Finally got some brunch in my stomach and then clean up. So not much time to do anything else. I need to get an order of Norwex in and get the invoices made for those and then it will be time for DH to come home. I also have to get the gift wrapped for my Cousin's 50th anniversary. Yikes the day flies by!!

Chris - You are so nice to give Floyd's things to the nice lady that you know from the Vet's office, she sounds like a very kind person! Hopefully your PT is not too difficult today, it will all be for the best though right? Sending you lots of hugs, I know it must be a difficult time for all of you! I am very far behind with my scrapping also, too many other things on the go at once :mmph: Why do I do this to myself?

Nancy - Darn that the Devils lost their game!! Glad to hear that you and Luther are getting out so much for your walks, your knees must be doing so well! Yes wouldn't it be nice if I could snap my fingers and erase all the painting that I did not like LOL. How fun to have found a new author that you like so much! Enjoy!

Jean - Hope your art class is fun for you today! How nice that your DH got recognized at the birding meeting! Please send some of your sunshine out this way, we have :rain: again today and tomorrow.

Rae - Isn't it crazy how fast the days go by when you are so busy!! I hope that you can keep your nose to grindstone and get it all done!!
