Daily Ooos: Thursday, March 31

Finally, a day that feels like it lives up (sort of) to the adage of March lions and lambs. Unfortunately, even though it is going to be warmer, it's going to be raining/T-storms all day. I guess it's a good thing that I didn't have plans to be outside at all.

Not much happening here, but I am going to need to start gearing myself up for a busy few months. We got the information in for Cait's graduation- she only gets 4 tickets to the ceremony- the three of us and Tom. The grandparents are going to be disappointed. Now that's getting closer, I am getting more emotional about it. Caitlyn ordered the Honor Society cords to wear with her regalia. She asked me if she should-- Hell yes!!! My baby is getting her Master's Degree and is doing it with a fantastic GPA. So far, all As/A-s. It is looking extremely likely she will do the same this semester too. *knocks wood* She has worked incredibly hard. (get used to me bragging about this achievement- maybe I should add it to my String Pull Rotation? )
I am off clean for my friend today and then take Scott to pick up his car from the shop. Excitement. heh

Bored and wandering around the house, that sums up most of my days. Oh yes, procrastinating too.
I hope you get the painting started. Once you get going, it will be easier to keep up the momentum.
I never have any trouble figuring out what you write either. *g* Awww, Poochie sounds like he is a snuggle bug.

@BrightEyes Tell Chari we are wishing her well and hope the healing process continues quickly! Make sure that you are;t pushing yourself either, I am assuming your BP is staying under control?

Morning everyone!! Wow the last day of March!! How did that happen?? It is going out like a lamb for us here on the Island. It is a lovely sunny morning and mild temps, but there is still some snow on the far off mountain tops. OMG yesterdays hike was so beautiful! It has been a long time since I have hiked the Holt Creek Trail! Gorgeous streams and rivers and the sun shining through the moss lined trees! It was simply stunning! There was a large group of us for this hike, 26 of us so it took a bit longer to do than if it were just a couple of us. That was ok though it gave us longer time to admire our surroundings! Today I have the pleasure of going to the Dentist and having my top wisdom tooth extracted!! UGH!! I should have had it done years ago, the only reason I am doing it now is because no matter what I eat, food gets stuck in between that tooth and the one next to it. I am constantly having to floss. The dentist said is pretty lose anyway, so it should just pop right out. I should also start to work on my painting, if I get it done in. time there is an Art Show coming up that I could enter it into. No sales but I could win a nice prize and perhaps end up with a sale afterward.

@faerwings - Yup seems we could have a few members join our "My Day is Boring Again" club!! Hope that April brings the warmer weather for us to get outside and get some yard work done! You should see how long our backyard grass is!! I was looking out the back and noticed that my Camellia Bush is in Bloom, it made my morning!! So pretty!! Now if I can just get out there and clean some of the debris away in the backyard I could enjoy it more! Hope your cleaning for your friend goes well! Oh and I found this little guy off to the side of the trail while we were waiting for some of the others to catch up with us. I warned the others to be careful where they were stepping!

Good afternoon lovelies.

I'm getting another late start. Chric @faerywings how exciting about Cait and brag away, Momma!! You have every right to be as proud as a peacock! That's too bad that you only get 4 tickets. And yes, our brains are scarily alike.

Animal alert - we got to play with the puppies last night and the 3 new baby kitties. Well, we couldn't play with them yet, but we got to see them. Mommy Stormy keeps a close guard on them and their eyes aren't open yet. She has them in a little closet and we can barely get our bodies in there. It's so sweet. Adrienne's big, male cat got out there last night and there was a cat fight!

Ava had the puppies in a pack-n-play - it was so cute. Lila was jealous because she wasn't the center of attention, so I made sure to pay a lot of attention to her. Adrienne's big cat likes to lay on the back of the couch and watch the puppies. Talk about an animal house. We didn't take Daisy, she and Lila get too wild. She had a "smell fest" when we got home. Hahaha

Trudy @taxed4ever you really do have to be careful where you walk. I'm super careful here, too - we have mountains all around us and I'm even careful if I move anything outside. Good luck with your wisdom tooth extraction. UGH - I'm thinking of you. I hope you get laughing gas. That's the only salvation for me in dental procedures. You can lay there and plan out your art show exhibit.

Hugs to everybody who comes in here later. I got one of Lynn's "Messy Pockets Templates" done last night. I just love all of her templates - especially the Pocket Templates!! I scrapped Ava and the two puppies - the template is perfect for multiple photos!
