Happy Thursday!
Just a super-quick post to say good morning and happy partying to all of you. My brother is coming up today to visit around lunchtime, so that is going to be a highlight. I need to get into the tub for my silly sponge bath in a bit. Tomorrow the cast cover should be here and I can get in the shower, yipppeeeeeeeee!

Washing machine is here and apparently is good.

I don't know why we aren't able to follow our own advice. I'm telling numerous time to Chris to stay away from the news, but then I find myself spending plenty of time to doing the same. The scandal with our boxer going bigger, and in one moment I realized that I argue with idiots who offense my countrie's culture at the social media. So I deleted all and left them to live their miserable life. But I feel really crappy. I even made a page for shi** :censored:. I was thinking about that from the moment when saw this kit, and it's not much appropriate for a bday party, but cooperate with my mood.
The O party is awesome, I can't believe it will over tomorrow. For every page I made two others comes in my mind! So I'll have on what to work on. Here is still cold, so we can't stay out for a long, just quik walks.

Chris, yes I won the mouse kit and 3 other. Isn't this spectacular! Only this kit cost as my daily income, so I'm really WOW! Most funny is that it's magic wand is actually needle ;), and I add disney castle for you, and yes they reminds me so much of Muffin and Clover.
Have fun with your brother! I just realized aren't your shower with moving head, so you can take shower sitting in basin ?!

Trudy, I'm waiting to hear how the Christie Falls hike was. Oh, there is no such a thing as too much page for something. Just enough for album :). Hope that your computer won't force you to repair or replace it as mine do!

Nancy, whit sure when you are experiencing something you feel it slower than it looks to the side watcher, but believe on our cheer-leading :cheer2:, you did it really fast! I'm happy that you have nice weather! Oh, and so cute about the handmade card!

Sharon, to see and learn different cultures helps to person to grow up fast than others with less experience.

Kythe, wish you fast recovery to your bady! Sending positive healing vibes!

Kay, hugs  , my friend! Take your time to be sad and nostalgic, but not left the sadness to take control on your life!

Now I have to go package my swimsuit, because someone promise me tropical all inclusive vacation to lift my spirit!

good morning - the sun is shining and should get to mid 50s. Yea. Since my hockey team is done for the year well there are still more games but no playoffs I am now celebrating Opening Day for baseball season. The pundits feel that it is again the Boston #1 and Yankees #2. Should be a fun season between these two teams. My DH and son are not happy campers as they really do not like baseball! Oh well! I will watch hockey playoffs first but afternoon baseball is always fun! Not much else going on. My DH had to wait until today to go to the dentist to have the crown removed. He is in such pain and I feel so bad for him! But he should be better this afternoon.

Chris so glad that you are doing well. Have fun seeing your brother. Awesome about the washing machine.

Trudy watched the Bruins defeat the Rangers. That always makes me happy! Also saw the Leafs lost in OT. The Bruins and Leafs in the first round should be fun!

Rae hope the medical team is giving you updates on B. I think having Taz play with her is awesome.

Kay the birthday gift box is awesome. But how to maximize two boxes - I am still thinking LOL.

Sharon glad to read the visit with daughter is going so well. Kids change fast. I know my parents notice huge differences when I came back from college. I got used to doing things my way with out parents telling me how or when. LOL We clashed at times.

Kathe so hard to drop off pets for surgery. I know he will love all the attention.

Have a great day all!

Morning everyone! I am feeling very  I woke up at 3am and have not been able to get back to sleep, so I will be dragging my sorry butt around the house all day today! Perhaps I will be able to nap this afternoon? :noidea: I should have slept like a baby after all the fresh air and exercise I got yesterday :mmph: The hike was beautiful and the falls were spectacular with lots of water from spring runoff. We ate our lunch at the base of the falls and I got some nice photos with the sun shining through the mist from the falls! I think that I will have to scrap a page of this one. Although I think I have done one with this hike before, it was just such a beautiful day it deserves to be scrapped!

Chris - How nice to have the washing machine, even though you have not been able to give it a try. Glad that you will be able to shower again, sponge bathing is just not the same!! Enjoy the visit with your brother, so nice that he is stopping by to see you!

Felis - So happy that you are having fun at the Party here at the O! The time has gone by way to quickly and sadly I have not been here enough! LOL that you are getting your swimsuit packed for the birthday wish I have given to all of you here!! I only wish I could do that for everyone! So nice that the creative juices are flowing for you and your scrapping, wish my mojo was better!! I just don't seem to have the desire to scrap much these days

Nancy - Yes the Bruins looked pretty awesome last night and we were very happy that Toronto lost in OT!! It should be very interesting to see these two teams play, however not looking forward to the phone calls from our BIL and nephew about it LOL. Sure hope that your DH will be pain free after his visit to the Dentist! I had a crown that gave me a lot of pain too, but eventually I think the tooth that was crowned died and that is why the pain went away. :noidea: My dentist even told me I might have pain with that one. It kept me awake for many nights :mmph: Glad that is over with, now I have no reason for not getting sleep, so why is it that I can't sleep anymore :gaah:

Birthday Fairy - :hello: I hope you are having fun giving out little gifties to the party people!!

Kay - Hope you are feeling less blue today! Love the Birthday Gift Box game, it's fun to see what everyone has wished for!

Kathe - Hope your fur baby is doing well and came through the surgery well! I know he will love to be home and getting spoiled by you!

Rae- Love that you are enjoying your bird feeder and all the sweet birds that patiently wait their turn! Hope that B is enjoying her new place and that she thrives there! I bet you and Taz are loving the sunshine!

Ok Heather and Hunter are facetiming so I gotta go :bolt: Have a great day everyone!

Quick in and out this morning again. Had the house opened up yesterday. Got up to 79 degrees in the afternoon!!! It was so good to air the house out. May have one more day with above normal temps then back into the low 60's for the weekend. Low 60's is the normal temps for right now. The crazy thing is even though it was that warm, I was feeling cold all day... Will be glad when spring/summer gets here for good.

The road construction on one of the main roads close by had closed off the intersection on the street getting to the library and post office. Have to turn several blocks sooner then go in the back way. What a PITA this is. Will be like this for the next few weeks. I had to go there yesterday as books were due back. Saw a book in the sale area that I thought I had... got back home and discovered that I didn't have it. Trying to decide if it is worth the trip this week to pick it up.

Nice to see the Birthday Fairy popping in to say HI!

So my hubby and I managed to get through the night from hell! I think between us we got 3 hours sleep. He slept on the floor beside my Joey and I had the couch. Poor Joe was really wonky coming home and cried pitifully all the way. We asked the vet on duty if that was normal before we left the parking lot and were told it is the disorientation coming out of anesthetics. Well this lasted 4 hours! I finally had had enough thinking that surely he would be recovered by then so on the phone I got. Sure enough the vet at the clinic said that it was pain and anxiety and told us to give him more of the prescribed meds. That calmed him down so that he could rest for a few hours. Hubby and I took turns napping.. sort of.
Then at 12:30 am it started again but this time we had a strategy from the vet. So another pill which he does not like taking, went down his throat after a bit of a tussle. We carried him outside for a badly needed pee, both of us in our jammies walking down the street with the cone-headed dog. At that point I think all 3 of us were wobbling as we walked. lol

I sent hubby to bed and I watched Joe from the couch sleeping as much as I could.
Morning arrived at 6:30. Joe was restless but just whimpering not an all out cry. The vet phoned to check in at 9:00. He said all things, pee, water, a little food were good signs of recovery. So with our meds strategy in place, Joe has been quiet and sleeping for most of the day so far.
It should get better from here on in. I am woosey from lack of sleep but thankful that the day is sunny and warmish. At least we don't have to combat rain!.

I haven't checked in much lately but have been having a good time with the party. It was warm enough this evening when we went out that I only needed a light jacket. It won't stay this way, but sure did like it.

Chris it was good to see you're still coping pretty much and that the new washer is there.

Felis, you've been doing so well with the party and the challenges. So happy you are enjoying it. Interesting to see you have the advice to Chris to avoid the constant news come back to you. Sometimes we just get caught in it all but so good you quit for a bit.

DH is watching NCAA tournament right now but the good thing for me was that baseball began though the Indians lost the first game. They'll win lots soon I'm sure.

Nancy, believe it that to us your recovery sounds rapid! I know the sports season transition is hard, but there are lots of playoff games yet in hockey even without the Devils in them.

Trudy, you do keep busy all the time, but sorry your hike didn't give you a good night's rest this week. Look forward to your scrapping this one as it sounds beautiful.

Hi to all I'm missing!!
