Hi sweeties! How are you?
It is finally going to be warm-ish today, with a high of 56* but it is raining. It could be worse! It could be cold and snowy like we had last week. That would *not* make me happy, so hopefully we are D-O-N-E with that!

We never made it food shopping yesterday. Gary was really sick all morning, and I think I am herxing from the new abx combo. I ended up placing another online order b/c who knows how we will be feeling today? I stocked up on cake mixes and crescent rolls to get the $10 off promo. I have coupons for the, all so it won't be too bad. But online shopping can be so darn difficult. But it is done and now I don't have to leave the house today except for the bus stops, and maybe if Gary needs me to pick up the groceries with him.

Scott sent me a picture of me in the box, and Cait said she will too. I will have to scrap them, or post them here for you. I am such a goof.

Today is more of the same, hanging out here, puttering work around the house.

Phyllis!!! See this?^^
My life is boring, so come back and be bored with ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (and all of us, of course!)

QOTD If you could be any wild animal, what would it be?
At first I was going to ask any animal, but that one is too easy. Everybody want to be a cat, to quote The Aristocats.(Disney movie:) )
So wild animal- giraffes are pretty cool, and I always wanted to be tall. How about you?

Astrid- hahah! Evil woman, laughing at people falling! LOL
Those videos are pretty funny. I like the ones where cats fall, and then look around like "I meant to do that." heheh!!

Laurie- I can relate to that! Teen/young adult lingo is pretty different these days!

Linda S- That is an awesome ability- to laugh at yourself. Obviously, I do that all the time, as I give myself lots of opportunity to do so!
How is the scrapping going? I hope that it is coming back to you quickly!!!

nancy- sounds like the Devils autograph signing was fun! Baby laughs- oh yes!!! They are contagious!

Woo hoo Jean!! I am so excited that you got to see the birds! I love your page!

I hope that you were all quiet in here b/c you were busy in the Birthday Party Threads!

hugs and love!

Good morning ladies! Scrapping is coming back very slowly. But I'm doing quite well on the shopping in the O store, thank you very much!

Sydney has her 5th grade vocal music concert tonight. The teacher is outstanding and these are always fun. This year's concert is "old" music. Well, guess what, I know ALL of it. Theme songs from the Brady Bunch and Mr. Ed the Talking Horse. Elvis and the Beetles. And much more. So I'm as excited as Sydney.

Nancy, I'm glad that you were able to have company at the autograph signing. It's neat that you are still friends with your son's friends.

We were in Orlando at this time last week. I'm really missing the nice warm weather. Everyone have a good day!

Hello,

hope you are all fine and have a lot of fun here at the party.
I watched the news on TV yesterday nearly the whole day . A german airplane crashed in the mountains of South France on it´s way from Barcelona (spain) to düsseldorf (germany). 150 people died. Can´t imagine the pain and the feelings of those who waited on the airport to pick up their family members or friends. there was a school class 16 students and their 2 teachers on board. They were drawn because 45 students wanted to go to spain but there were only 16 places. What a fate !

lOve the O!
Morning O fam- I am going to believe that the forecasters were incorrect and it is not going to be a really bad allergy season. Cough, cough, drip drip. Oh man- thankful for a day off, so much to do, so tired of the achy feeling behind my eyes. I am going to clean house for better energy and get my taxes ready. It is only an hours drive. I am going to scrap some today as well- scrapping therapy!

good morning! It is foggy which means the temperature is warming up. Really cool! Yesterday I went grocery shopping and cooked a new Pioneer Woman recipe Cajun Chicken pasta. Chris this had lots of veggies in it so if you leave the chicken out your family might like this one. My boys went back for seconds. Got in a good walk. While walking saw a male mallard in the little creek at the end of my block. Then farther down two red tailed hawks were soaring and finally settled together near the top of a tree. So cool. Made the walk even more fun!

Chris it is so great that there is food delivery! Have fun using up those cake mixes.

Linda have fun at the concert! I always wished I could sing well.

Laurie my husband for the first time ever took our taxes to an account. I was so shocked when he said he did not want to do them anymore.

Anika yes I have been following the news about the airline crash. And today's news is that it was done on purpose. How cruel is that.

Trudy hope the weather is not too bad now that your friends are visiting!

I want to be a bald eagle soaring over salmon infested rivers.

Have a great day all!

Just popping in quick to tell Nancy that I forgot how *funny* Pioneer Woman is!! I used to go to her site all the time between her food and her photography. It has been a while and I just spent the last 20 minutes chuckling to myself.
I "Yummed" (food version of Pinterest) both the Orange Chicken and Cajun reciped to try. TFS!!!

Something between rain and snow is falling! Yikes. But my new raincoat came today. This time I got one with a zip-out lining so I'm good to go whatever this is.

Chris, we can all have boring days together as mine probably will be. Tonight we'll stay home and watch more basketball. We don't have a team in the playoffs now, but Kentucky has sort of family ties for me so I can cheer on the Big Blue Nation especially as they're playing here. I don't think any other Ozzies care about the NCAA, but I think it's fun to follow.

Nancy, that does sound like a good walk. I love the way birds have come to life with this early spring long before most plants.

Astrid, I haven't seen today's news on that flight, but it is just so sad. Also bad yesterday were tornadoes in Oklahoma. My BIL has a branch down on his patio, but otherwise is okay. Hope Mama O in Moore escaped problems.

Laurie, sorry you're feeling under the weather on a day off. Scrapping will be good therapy!

Linda, sounds like a really fun musical event. Your enthusiasm must make Sydney even more pleased. Keep up the scrapping too.

QOTD: DH has compared me to a thrush, but I want to be something more fierce. Maybe I'd go non-avian and pick a cat, maybe my fantasy of a Jaguar.

Hi ladies... I have been MIA I know, but yesterday and the evening before was filled with tons of laughter and lots of reminising!! Our friends from Saskatchewan are still the most fun and wonderful people we have ever had the pleasure to know! We will miss them so much now again!! Had a great dinner and stayed up until 1:30am then up to get on the road and go for a hike and show them around our little piece of paradise. They love it here so much that they want to come back again next year! Hooray!!! We just loved to have them with us again!!

Chris - Sorry you did not make it to the grocery store! Hope you feel much better soon and hope your hubby does too!!

LindaS - Wish we were in Orlando again also!! But sure can't complain about the weather here, mild and very springlike!! Glad to hear you are having fun shopping and scrapping again!!

Astrid - I did see that news on the plane crash! Such a tragedy!! So very sad! I just can't imagine anyone wanting to do such a a horrible thing!

Laurie - Praying for a sneezing, coughing, allergy free spring time for you!! Hope the scrapping therapy helps!!

Nancy - Wow great walk you had!! I love to see the birds and ducks and swans on my walks also! Weather stayed cloudy, but calm and mild and the rain held off for our visitors, it was really quite pleasant, perfect weather for hiking and sight seeing!

Jean - I like your choice of animal to be!! You would still be watching all those birds, just with dinner on your mind though. LOL

Hi to Sharon and to Phylis  I hope you are both ok and will join us again soon!

QOTD - I think I would love to be a big Grizzly Bear, then I could sleep all winter long!! Ohhh to just sleep!!!!

Boy am I late checking in. Yesterday we spent the morning with Clara. She seemed to really enjoy us. Looks like her daddy (our son) is going to take a regular job again. He has been freelancing for a couple years now (he's a contract and intellectual proper attorney). A mother is always happy when a son has a "real" job! LOL Freelancing sounds like "unemployed" to a mom! Anyway, at 13 months, Clara is finally CRAWLING! I KNOW. Late walking runs in DH's family. His sister didn't walk until well into her 15th month.

Today summer came after a week of rain and gloom. We played golf today, and on the way home it was 75* according to our car thermometer. Golf stank for me. I don't know why I play so much better in AZ than I do at home. But I got to wear crop pants, a short-sleeved shirt, and am now happily in my flip-flops. Bonus: Captain Romance just walked into my office with a mocha and a graham cracker to stave off starvation until dinner time. Tomorrow? Even warmer!!!!!!!!!

I've got all my Oscraps scrapping supplies tagged now. I am having a blast with Romy's goodies at the moment...creating some pages to be posted next week sometime. It's my reward to plugging away at the tagging.

I know Phylis is out there somewhere, because I see new posts on her FB.

Hope everyone has a lovely evening and a GOOD NIGHT's SLEEP!

QOTD: Tiger. Or dolphin.
