Damn, soooo tired. I wish I didn't have to work today. At least Cait is coming with me and she will do most of the vacuuming. On one hand, I was really glad to keep busy yesterday, but OTOH- I think I overdid it. (Who me?????)
I steam cleaned the hallway upstairs, and that really hurts my boob/scar. I went for a long walk with my friend and she even commented that I was going too fast up the hill. I was def. running on adrenaline.
Then my parents were supposed to meet us at my house at 5.30. They showed up at 4.50 and we were just trying to get Scott ready and out of the house at 5. My mom is a *doll* but she kept wanting to talk to me about irrelevant things and I needed to get dressed, makeup, IV, and all of that in about 45 mins. I ended up snapping at her so I need to call and apologize today.
The ceremony ended up being inside in the gym. I really dislike grad ceremonies. They seem so boilerplate. 4 years ago we entered these halls as freshmen, young and confused and not knowing where classes were. We formed friendships. And here we are ready to move on into the real world, :blah:
The best part of it was when our Highlander Pipes and Drums came out. The have won competitions all over the US and they are so impressive. I tried to get as many pictures as I could, but of course its really hard to do that inside, so most of them are under-exposed. But I'll see what I can do in PS.
So that is about it from me. Here's to all of you ~ :tea:
Temptation of Thursday:
Have Cailyn do all of the cleaning while I direct her from the sofa!
