Good morning to you, where ever you are (and whatever time it may be LOL). We have a gor-jus day here in NJ. I hope to get some yard work done and play outside with Jaida. i tried for a little while yesterday with her, but Ray wanted to be out too and having one dog off leash and the other on a lead- not a good mix. I can't tell you how many times Jaida choked herself or got caught up short while she was running full speed. And man, that girl is FAST! I feel so bad for Ray, that Jaida seems to get so much more attention. This morning I tried to snuggle with Ray for a bit while Jaida was in her crate.

My poor baby-girl (Caitlyn - in case you thought I was talking about the dogs!!) is sick *again.* She started throwing up after dinner last night, and a few times during the night, even after taking papaya enzymes and then her Rx. She has to stay home today.
I am really worried about her. Her stomach seems to be getting worse. I know she is losing weight and she swears that she is not making herself throw up.

Scott has today off of work and we were hoping to go there for dinner tonight but I guess that is all up in the air.

I also have to pack!!!! I am looking fwd to going to PA tomorrow. But before my mom picks me up, I have a mammo/ultrasound appt first, then I have to have Gary run my axb IV. After that, it will be smooth sailing!

So there ya have it. :p

*peeks out window* Why is the sky totally grey now? It better not rain!!

QOTD When your stomach is upset, what helps you? Tea? Tums? Toast?
My stomach is usually pretty good. When it is not, that is usually how I can tell that I am herxing. Some papaya enzymes or tums usually do the trick for me. Cait has tried all of those and nothing seems to help when it gets to this point. I wish I could help her other than rubbing her back.

Nancy- woo hoo for a good night's sleep! Did you get all of the kinks out? How was the hockey game last night? I am wondering what happened at the Verizon building. hmmm. You would make a good photojournalist :photo:
Every day, i hear about more schools, and now hospitals being swatted. This is ridiculous!

Trudy- I didn't bring my IV outside. Gary was concerned if the direct sunlight would affect it in any way. We both looked online but couldn't find anything at all so we decided best not to take a chance.
Probably good to only yell at one your neighbor for one thing at a time, you will have more opportunities, I am sure hahah!!!
I hope that you were able to enjoy your day!

Morning ladies, I am up with the birds this morning, but it is a beauty of a day and I had a really good sleep, so it was just time to get up and get the day started.

Chris - Aww poor Caitlyn, have you tried ginger ale? My mother swore by it, but she used to let it sit first until there was no fizz left in it before she gave it to us. I guess anything with ginger root is soothing to the stomach! I hope she feels better soon!! Those grey clouds better burn off for you so you can enjoy a bit of sunshine!! I know that you will have a great time with your parents, enjoy your trip!! Good luck with the mammo and ultrasound!

Well I am finally getting the very last panel of the fence painted this morning, so I might as well get out there and get it done before the heat of the day sets in. Our local strawberries and blueberries have been ready for the last couple of weeks, they are a month early, which goes to show you how crazy the weather has been for us! DH was talking to someone yesterday that has already brought in their first crop of hay 6 weeks early and they were surprised that the yield was a high as it normally is. Just scary!! Hope you all have a wonderful Thursday!! I hope to get in my laps this morning too!

good morning - just got done having an awesome talk with my sister. We are planning our next vacation. That is always as much fun as the vacation itself. Yesterday was a gorgeous day. Low humidity and mid 80s for temp so my DH took the day off and we went bicycling at Sandy Hook. They have the most awesome bike path. But the Park made me angry and I am not sure I should be angry but as a senior citizen you can get a life time pass to all the National Parks. We arrive at Sandy Hook only to be told we have to pay. I have to look up to rules for this pass. All the big Parks have let us in for free and this Park charges to use the bike path does not seem right. But if I knew the money was to be used for a good cause maybe I would feel better about it. But the ride was fun - the first of the season and we did 9 miles. I know that is not much but I am an old lady and to just still be stable on a bike I consider a great thing. LOL. Came home and had an awesome dinner. But the best parts were that the Garmin I use with my bike gives me the best data. Tells me where I bike, how far, the change in elevation (at whooping 13 ft) and how fast. I love seeing all this data. I am still a scientist at heart. Got some good photos of the light house and an osprey on her nest. Then watched the hockey game and the series is now tied at 2 games a piece. This is good as that mean I have at least 2 more games before hockey is over. Actually got some scrapping done too. And I slept really well. Woke up hungry yea! Now off to ride just around the town. Maybe walk later if the temp is not too high. Supposed to get near 90 today. Going out to dinner with girlfriends so a fun day ahead.

Chris so sorry about Cait and her stomach. I am and always have been a real Peptobismal girl. I take tums every night before I go to bed and I think that really helps me. I don't get an upset stomach often so that is good. I hope she feels better soon. Maybe the changes in weather are not good for her too! Have fun getting ready for PA. Seems like the weekend weather should be good.

Trudy you are up with the birds. Bet you will be so happy when you get your fence finished. Have fun! Enjoy the swim.

Have a great day all!

Sorry to be so quiet, but I get this way. I'm doing PT for my knee and it seems to be helping. Things are not good with my sister. Long story, but she's in hospital and what's happening and going to happen are unclear at the moment. Has me not only worried but up in the air. Otherwise things are fine.

Chris, sorry about Cait's stomach which sounds pretty bad. Don't the doctors recommend anything? Hope the tests go well and you're off to PA.

Trudy, how nice to finish the fence painting! Know you're looking forward to your summer with the kids. What a nut of a neighbor you have.

Nancy, Sandy Hook sounds good. I was only there once about a million years ago. Sadly parks have to get funds somehow.

Hope it's a good day for all.
