GooOd morning and happy 4th of July.

I am feeling somewhat fuzzy-headed today. So darn tired. I wish I had nothing to do and nowhere to go. Although, really my day isn't all that busy. I am cleaning for my neighbor this afternoon but that is not that big of a deal. I just wish I could be outside all day since I never made it out again yesterday. I know that if I spend to much time in the yard I will be pooped out to clean. Guess I am feeling a bit down and cranky and definitely not patriotic.

I have no idea what I did yesterday either. I did finish the LO of the rats playing with the bubbles. That was fun! Now I want to see what else I can scrap. Diane's snapshot threads are really making me think more about taking pictures.

Felis- sorry if my bad mood is rubbing off on you! I had seen people postin gabout5G being bad for people and animals but then scientists were refuting that. I am not sure what the "final" verdict was but it didn't sound as bad as initial reporting about it was.

Nancy- I don't watch soccer/football at all but even seeing the headlines/photos of the women's team is so exciting! ITA that the criticism that they are celebrating "too much" is so ridiculous. Women are truly held to such different standards-- last summer it was the backlash and fines from Serena William's doing exactly the same thing as the men tennis stars with no penalty. The PS AutoColor/Tone made the photos worse, unfortunately. Thanks for the support, but man, I feel useless- speaking out, marching last year- it doesn't seem to change a thing. And you *know* that it is worse than what we are actually seeing which is horrific as it is.

Kay- sending you big hugs and hope that you are feeling a bit better. At least you know and are able to prepare for the down mood and can work with it instead of fighting it. That is impressive. I tried to upload to FB yesterday too but will have to see if I have better luck today.

But be careful with the sunburn! I'm surprised that O don't have some big sale to note the day, but after all good deals previous month can't complain. Just a regular day here, but I can celebrate with you and take some ice cream and a little Me time . Give hugs and belly rubs to your fur babies and I hope fireworks to not disturb them too much!

I'm sorry to hear you are in blue mood. Just go outside and be happy, one day wouldn't to be so big deal, especially when it's holiday, left all plans for tomorrow! I can understand why you feels disappointed in present situation, but patriotic has not to do with politics, it's about history and culture of our roots. I hope you'll find a way to lift your spirit and enjoy the day!
Don't be silly your mood is not rubbing off on my! I just feels more comfortable to post something bad, when others are do it, because don't want to come and spoil the fun if all others are happy, or to be jerk and post jokes when others are sad. I strongly hope you'll right about the web and they are fix the problem!

Nancy, I'm so jealous about the Songland, sounds as awesome show! I don't watch anything right now. Hmm, how strange about the fireworks and I can see why you are disappointed. But your son will make barbecue and you will celebrate anyway, I guess!? Oh, I know what you mean about the water in bottles, I was at the same way till I lived at other city in my school years. I wasn't able to drink their water without stomach pains. After all it is a matter of a balance, if you do one you have to compensate it with another thing. Last year I changed my view point for many things and I hope I'm less destructive for our planet. So news how the new technology don't plan more careful their impact on the nature, really makes me mad! Especially because I use web all the time, and here we don't have big choice which kind your connection will be, providers just upgrade it and don't care much about the birds. But I hope this wave of dissatisfaction to force them, as it's happened with the toothpaste which was used grains which go at the water and hurt the fishes!

good morning - gorgeous day in NJ. Bright blue sun for a Happy 4th of July. Yesterday in NJ there was an accident on what is called the helix in Union City. A garbage truck lost its brakes and hit several cars, the clock tower and flew off the overpass on to 495 which is one of the major arteries into and out of NYC - the Lincoln Tunnel. Well my son left work at 3pm and did not get home until 6pm. The accident caused the busses from NYC to be completely stopped, those people then went to trains which caused overcrowding and delays as all could not fit on the trains. Finally busses only were allowed in the tunnel leaving NYC so cars were stopped and you can imagine the back ups in the city and in NJ trying to get into the city. The Holland tunnel and George Washington bridge both became overloaded and thus huge delays. The accident happened around 1pm and the problem still there at the 6pm news shows. Of course every thing worse as the it was the start of the holiday long weekend. My DH was wondering why his commute was so crowded. Makes me happy to be retired. But made me feel bad for my son who was caught in the mess. Not much going on today.

Chris try to get outside it is really nice. Warm and a touch humid. How nice of you to clean on a holiday. I will have to find the page with the rats. You do such cute pages with those rats. And you may not think you are doing a lot but doing something is better than nothing. And you are an example to your family that being quiet is not acceptable.

Felis thanks for the happy thoughts on our holiday! I think some of the episodes from Songland might be on YouTube though not sure if they are playable in your country. Not sure how all that works. Yes I guess you are correct about doing what you can for keeping our planet happy.

Kay hope you are feeling less sad. I find it inspiring that you use music and reading to help.
