Daily Ooo's: Thursday, July 28

Man, i felt like crud all day yesterday, thank goodness today I feel a bit better. headaches, pain all over and exhausted to no end. As I was getting ready for bed, I saw a blue pill on the island. Looked at it, and it was Alleve. I figured that Scott probably took it out, put ot down, and then forgot to actually swallow it. I took it that it was a sign from the Universe that I needed it more than he did. hahahah!!

I ended up vacuuming al of the rugs downstairs since I can't when the A/C is on- blows circuits all over the place. That led me to cleaning out the entire vacuum, all of the hair stuck in the roller and the filters all needed to be cleaned out. Ugh!
Prepped dinner which was a really smart thing to do- it is a really good thing that it tastes so yummy b/c it is a PITA to cook. Brendan did all of the dishes last night too, which was really nice.

Wentworth Season 4 is is on Netflix and we watched two episodes of that. Love that show. Went to bed before 8pm.

Today is Caitlyn's drs apt. I am really not sure what he is going to say, or be able to say. She worked only until 11.30 yesterday, and is still not feeling great right now, so she will put in a few hours again. and see how she does, She is really starting to like the job and the kids and feels terrible about leaving early.

The weather looks nice, so I am going to head outside, and see what I need to work on with my plants. My sage is growing like *mad* and that is going to need to be harvested and dried. Our tomatoes are getting huge- now we need them to ripen, and we already picked one zucchini. I love plants! They make me so happy. Plans and animals, that is my happy place!

Do you guys have a happy place? I hope so!

Nancy- What did you end up cooking last night? Hope it was something easy. Jaida sees the bunnies on our walks and want to chase them too. I am surprised that my arm muscles are still so flabby because I have to hold on tight to make sure that she does run. :dogwalk:
I have been loving all of your vacation photos- very different than your AZ trip.

So sorry that your DD can't make it to the trailer this weekend, but maybe a nice quiet "do nothing" weekend will be good for you. Woot on the new lens! I still have to get my lenses in to the Canon shop. I hate not having a working camera. My little ancient p/s is fine for unimportant things but not for any "real" photography.

Neither J or R are big on taking thins and chewing them. My old girl, Harley-- she ate sofas!

good morning! Today should be the last day of my heat wave of days over 90. Finally! Tonight having dinner with my girlfriends and that will be fun. Other than that it was a calm day until I went to grill hamburgers. And the grill would not light. I followed the directions so it was not that. My DH came home and it could not get it to light either. So we had left overs. Which was okay. My DH had made crab stuffed chicken breasts for a party at work and left 2 home so that was great. But I still wanted hamburgers LOL.

Chris sorry you were in such pain but it sounds like you were sure busy! Good luck at the Drs. Hope they have so real idea of what they can do to help her! But the best news is that she is liking the job! Thanks for the likes on my pages. It was a totally different trip from AZ.

Rae I am so jealous of your lens. We have a 400 but I still want more LOL. Sorry you DD would be with you but a quiet weekend after a hard work week sounds delightful!

Good morning, ladies. It's another super busy day here but only one more to go and it'll be our long wkend at the trailer. I so need to relax. These past couple of weeks have been busier than I had expected and at night when I finish I've been so tired. I haven't even had dinner with my hubs this week b/c I've been working right thru dinner, just snacking at my desk. I'm showing my studio lights to someone this afternoon so hopefully they will sell which reimburses me for the money I'll be putting out for the new lens. I have decided that I don't want to use strobe lights anymore so why take up room in the house when I can sell them off and put the money to better use? Got an email from a lady I met at the photowalk last wkend. We're going to hang out and go on photo walks together. Should be fun.

Chris - Bailey keeps mentioning Wentworth, she loves that show, and wants me to watch it to. It's on my to-watch list now. Hope you feel better today. Hope Cait gets some news on whats going on with her health and gets treated properly. How frustrating to start her new job and now be so sick. Hugs to both of you. Your garden sounds lovely. I am jealous of you having fresh tomatoes. We're not home enough to water them so no longer grow them here but I remember how tasty they were when we grew our own.

Nancy - I'll have to go check out your pages, I've not been in the gallery much lately. Our BBQ is giving us problems too. We'll have to pick up a new one in the next few weeks. It's disappointing b/c we bought an expensive one last yr thinking it would be worth the extra money but no...it wasn't. A year later it is falling apart. But at least it's a good time to buy with all the sales. We BBQ all year round so it's a necessity for us.

Good afternoon, all! Last week I was off to Pittsburgh for a week-long genealogy course. The week before spent a lot of time getting ready. Just getting back to scrapping a little. Also have a drawing nearly done.

Chris, I've been reading your medical saga with such sadness that it all keeps piling on. Hope Cait's DR had some clues. Glad the animals and plants can help you through.

Nancy, yesterday, DH and I were looking at your new trip pages and really loving them. Looks so exciting. If you like watching hummingbirds, there is a live feed of one in the Davis Mts. in west Texas. We are just enthralled watching them and picking out ones like a male Lucifer.
