Daily Ooo's: Thursday July 14

hello and good morning!

I am up early today- getting ready for Gary and I to head out to our Lyme dr appt. I hope that she can change up my meds because my feet hurt so much. i kept them covered and in the shade as much as possible yesterday and they are s till red and hurting. My knees now too-:Cry:
We'll also see if she has any thoughts on Gary's stomach issues and biopsy. *shakes head* can't imagine there is much to discuss there, however.

Lake was neat to be at last night. It got super quiet after 5 pm. Few groups of people here and there and lots of pizzas being delivered. By 7 -- the majority of the place was shaded and I was then freezing! I left around 7.30 and cait left at 8. we are going to do it again- nice to have a different time frame.

Temptation of Thursday- I want to stop taking ALL of my meds. Really. Can i just take a few months of a break, please??????

Hi Trudy- how did your mtg go at work? Its hard to think positive when you feel like the rug is always getting ripped out. But if you think work is going great- maybe it is just to tell you all that you are getting nice raises LOL
Grandparenting is *not* a competition?? Really??!! hehe. Its not so bad in my family now but when Scott was first born- it was brutal! I hope I am not like that with any of my future (waaaaaay future) g-kids.

heidi- congrats on winning one of the avi coupons! I bet you miss the shore, I know I would too. My DH is not a shore/water guy and we rarely get to go. he likes the B-walk, but I am all about the ocean.
(Oh for the record, although it prob doesn't need to be said, I am *not* a Jersey Shore/Snooki fan)

morning- group hug right back at you Chris. I love the water, such a wonderful place to be. It is a sunny day- temptation - waste the day away- reality- I have already walked two miles, washed dried and put the sheets back on, talked with my man and still have to pay bills, go to the bank for notary signature, get haircut and shop at kohls with bday giftcard, plus 30%off sale- oh yeah.

Morning everyone... Well the meeting at work went well, it was more just to let us all know how sales were going and to award some gifts and pats on the backs, so nice to be appreciated. Our boss is a little long winded, but for the most part it was a good meeting. An apple Ipad was awarded to one of the staff for being such a great guy with the customers and staff and for the fact that he has been with the store since it opened. :rain: today but we sure needed it as things are getting very dry here. Off to work this morning for a few hours and then home to hopefully get some scrapping time in.

Chris - Ouch your poor feet!! Hope you can get some relief!! I know that you will be a great grandma in future!! Hopefully not for a while though LOL. Hope you have another great night at the beach!! Good luck at the Drs!!

Laurie - you have had a busy morning already and sounds like the rest of your day is going to be the same! Hope you find some great bargains at Kohls!!

You all seem so busy! Hope your day is going well.

The genealogy group was great. We had one new attendee and a new one from last month returned and both seem very interested. I really like the format we've developed based on discussion with everyone participating. Obviously a small group!

Chris I know the temptation to stop taking meds! DH and I both feel that way sometimes, but must be worse when you're so young.
