 OMG- there is a mosquito in here that is making me crazy. It keeps biting me and whining around my head but I can't get at it. I am yelling at the darn thing yet it is taunting me. How ironic that when I am outside, I am so coated in DEET that no mosquitos come near me, but here I am in the house, and I am being bitten alive. Sheesh.

I am relieved- Ray seems to be doing better. She is still moving slowly but that is how she typically is. Maybe she is a bit slower and stiff. Heck, I can relate to that!

The weather was great again yesterday so I did some yard work after cleaning. I really wish there was something else than grit for the town to put on the snowy roads because it is really killing all of my plants along the road. I know that grit is much better than using salt so I should be happy with that. I never did pay the bills yesterday. It was pay the bills on one hand, be outside on the other.:decision:

I will work on the bills (ugh) today before I head to PT. I need to stop at the library on my way home too. I finished my book and today is the due date. Would you believe that I have only had to pay a late fee *once* and I was so upset, I felt like I was letting the library down. LOL
I also need to look for some new books to read.

have a fantastic day everyone!

Felis- Oh no, sorry to hear that you had a problem with one of the challenges. I am the same way with the photos of the rats from my phone. It is frustrating and aggravating. I am glad that you mentioned it since I know that I am also building up a lot of photos on it and I should start deleting them off. See, it is a good thing that you shared that so now I can do that while I am in the waiting room today.
I knew that you would understand how Ray was *fine* at the vet. The vet mentioned the same thing to me too- how the adrenaline can mask the pain.
I wish that I spoke Italian too. It is sad now how my family tried so hard to become American- they changed their given names to Anglicized versions, spoke Italian only at home and even that became "lost." My dad's family also spoke a different dialect than my mom's family so even when they spoke a bit to each other, they couldn't understand most of it.

Jean- did the interesting visitor show up at your group yesterday? I hope so! I would love to hear about the meeting.
I am really ready to put the puzzle away. Why is that so hard to do though???? pfft...

Nancy- did you watch the parade yesterday?
Trudy- hope that you are enjoying the family!
Kay- sending love to you

Hugs to *everyone* who stops in!! xo

Good afternoon girls,
yesterday rain a lot and todays temperatures are just lovely! Also its saves me watering for the both days, yey! My mom watched at the morning show about the saving of the water and our planet suffering. I hate to lavish water, and I know we discussed this previous summer, but I'm still not found water barrel where to collect rain :guilt: :-x . It's one of these things that always promises but never get into action. I was hoping that my dad will found something similar which to reuse, as to buy new barrel isn't the best alternative. Sometimes it's looks like my eco passion is only on theory. At least I use the water which left not drinked from my pets for the flowers, when refresh their cups. But still I waste to much water in daily life. At this show the ecology lady is said to get short showers and to not laundry clothes which we are wear only once. Ugh, this is absolutely impossible at summer time!
Is it not strange and even disrespectful that they are make reportage about water saving till Nature drown our neighbors Greece? And I don't watch news usually but mom tells me that Spain and even somewhere in US have floods. Nature revenge us these days, poor people and their animals! It's very sad.

Chris, great that you was able to be out doing yard work ! I have the opposite problem the grass near my fence going too high and we have troubles to remove it, as both crossed together! Can you put different kind that is more resistible to grit? Some kind of short bush?! Oh, yes I was watched joke where one of my favorite singers says words on different Italian dialects  . Good luck with finding interesting book! How was the diner with Cait's friend?

Jean, as Chris I'm also curious how the meeting was and did the library lady came?! Of course, the tree house, this is the place where the poinsettia is living! I remember well this layout! I miss your 52 project! Did I mention that from the next month I'll try to finish the tasks from my 52 project list and to finish my project which I interrupted previous year. I hate to left something unfinished! Here we have saying: ''I'll couldn't find my place till I'm not finished it.'' Yes this is LO for my sister, but now she forced me to make one for myself too ;) . I have to take some nice pics with some of my babies. :photo: I already got one excellent for this idea kit from reginafalango.

Wave to all the other girls  !

Good morning - I have been taking care of errands and it has been starting early. Lots of shopping getting ready for vacation. Yesterday was so fun! I was back in the cold watching hockey! The Devils prospects camp had the 3vs3 tournament. Of course my DIL and I went. If you wanted an autograph of Jack Hughes you had to get their early. The earliest were there by 4:30 am. LOL. Don't people have to work! Only the first 150 people got to meet him. I am a big fan of the Devils but that is crazy. My DIL and I got to the Rock in time for the doors to open. We had front row seats and it was really fun to see all these kids trying to impress the coaches and make it to the NHL or worse AHL. A lot of the kids will go to college or back to their junior teams. Of course to me seeing the prospects is just fun. Saturday we also have a full scrimmage to attend. I do miss hockey but this does help. Also saw my doctor for a follow up from my hospital stay. He was awesome. He feels it could be a form of a migraine. Well that is cool. So I am able to do what I want and just keep track should it happen again. But he is great to answer the questions I had and took time. It is hard to believe but I will be off in a week. Watching the Tour de France. It has been a great tour as there have been no crashes and the weather has been sunny and dry. Since so many of the past favorites were injured and not participating it has been a chance to see new riders and new winner which I think it really fun.

Chris so glad that our weather seems to have finally gotten clear and sunny. I am loving it. And I know you are. Glad the trellis is working and to have cucumbers already is awesome. Glad that your doggie is doing better. I hate it that dogs cannot tell you what is wrong. PT is hard. I know with my knee it did help! I am sure you are noticing it getting better even if it is a slow process. I know they told me that I need to keep working to keep scar tissue from forming which would make me stiff.

Felis how nice to have rain to water your plants. I know what you mean about conserving and being eco friendly. We just have to do the best we can. Glad you are scrapping.

Waving to all! Have a great day!

Hey ladies....popping in to say hi. Things are stable. Visiting B every weekend out at the beach community she is in (probably for the next yr or so). Been out walking Taz, following a pretty steady work schedule and having fun buying kits around digi-land and just floating around, trying challenges here and there, and enjoying no pressure). I'm still low carb (kind of a Trim Healthy Mama approach now as I've been at maintenance a long time now and like their fluctuation of higher fat and then higher carb meals).

I'm happy for FB so I get a glimpse into what's going on with some of you. I spend more time on FB than anywhere else b/c I can glimpse at a post for a minute rather than hang out in forums and spend a lot of time chatting (some chatting is good of course but I am enjoying spending more time scrapping and less time chatting).

So that's me in a nut shell at the moment. Hope all is well with you all.

Peeking in to say 'Hi". I have been busily getting ahead of my host challenges here and on my other site. I am up to date from August to November. It sounds rather OCD but I am away most of August so I needed to get August and Sept done before I leave. Once I was on a roll I just kept going.
Daughter is home from a month in Australia and Malaysia. A 20 hour flight would have killed me. I flight tracked her all the way 'cuz I hated to think of her hanging in the air for all that time. Not that I have any control over it at all. lol
July weather has been humid and cloudy but warmish. Better than the impossible heat I keep seeing elsewhere though. I should be fussing in my garden but I just don't have any energy these days.
That's it for me. Cheers.
