... for one day at least...

Back to school and work for us here. Both kids are awake, I am on my second mug of coffee and am as ready as I will ever be to get rolling. And waiting. Waiting to see how much freaking :smow: we are gonna get. heheh!! The only good part is they are saying it is going to be light and fluffy so that will make it easier to shovel, esp since our snow blower won;t be fixed for another week. (How long have I been asking Gary to get it in the shop to get fixed?? men!!! :der:) But he did get the generator gassed up and ready just in case.
So we are running a 50/50 chance of a big snow:
-- No snow blower-- that means blizzard
-- Generator working fine-- that means flurries

And food shopping is on my list too. OMG- please let all of the other moms be reveling in the peace and quiet as they get their kids on the bus after C-mas Break and not want to run to the supermarket all at the same time as me...
After that, it is work but that is only 2 houses away, then get ready to watch the snow fall.

Hope that you all have a wonderful day!

Temptation on Thursday:
Have I ever said that I wanted to move somewhere warm?

I have?? Hmmm, it doesn't sound familiar to me. :D

Oh Laurie!! That is too funny! But I bet you looked adorable in your jammies!!
ugh, your basement seems like it is a never ending job :(

Hi Sandra!!!! Here's to a no-insanity 2014. Or less insanity would be acceptable, right? :)

Andrea- heh about Brent falling asleep! Hope that your kitchen mess wasn't too bad.

Nancy- yup, as soon as I heard the Devils won, I knew you had a good time! Hope that the snow doesn't hit you too bad today. Stay warm!

xoxoxo!!!

Spew alert- not so much Chris- you remember those cartoons that show how older women's chests end up at their waist- yeah- now I could have said just a minute and ran for my bra, but I chose not to. I was pretty sure he was really just interested in the basement cabinets.

So the snow has started. I have done a workout, and now I am heading to the shower- and will be dressed before they get here!! Today- sorting day!!

good morning yesterday was fun watching the two hockey teams play in the snow. It really slowed the game down but it was so pretty. I got in a walk before the game and while it was cold it was not frigid and it was great to get out. This early am I am watching the USA play Russia in the World jrs. If the US loses then they go home. Hoping for the best for the USA. After yesterday's hockey game the US named the US men hockey team. I was very shocked at the team but I was more shocked by two articles that described the inner workings of the selection. I guess they thought it might stave off criticism of their selections if they showed how they did it. All I can say is I think this belongs behind closed doors. If I was a player that was not selected and saw the disparaging unkind remarks about my play I would be extremely hurt. Maybe these guys as professionals have much thicker skin than I do. Basically from what I read was the team was chosen in August and no matter how well other US players played they were not making the team. But the strangest is that no matter how badly those original are now playing they still made the team. Several of the players are injured and still made the team. What is almost worst is that so many of those chosen are playing for teams I really don't like so it will be hard to cheer for them LOL. My husband thinks I am crazy to care so much maybe so LOL.

Chris yes hopefully not too much snow but I would rather have the snow that subzero cold. I am hoping the generator tells the tale!

Laurie your are too funny. I am glad you are able to maintain your sense of humor in the midst of all your flooding woes.

Have a great day all!

Morning ladies... I have been MIA, because I have been sooooo  Darn flu bug has hit me hard and I am in bed for the most part. Just here to say hey and then I am back to bed. I miss everyone, hope that you are all doing much better than I am at the moment!

Good evening! I didn't quite make the ooo's this morning. Its too busy trying to get my kiddos off to school.

My goal for the day was to get my pictures transferred from my c: drive to my external hard drive to see if it would help speed up my computer because it was uber slow... and I had tons of GB of pictures taking up space... I finally got them all transferred so we'll see how it goes!

I started scrapping one of the challenges and got nowhere... so I'm about to try again.

Chris - less insanity would be great LOL

Laurie - hope the flooding issue and all the problems get resolved quickly for you!

Hi, Nancy.

Trudy - feel better soon!

Okay... off to try to scrap...
