And the snow is coming down... :smow:
The Weather Page I follow on FB is still saying 6-10" and I hope that it is going to be closer to the 6" but at the rate it is coming down, I have a feeling it sill be more towards 10". Kids are home, their school canceled last night so they will be fast asleep for a while. Gary was already out with Jaida and she was having fun.

It is crazy that yesterday was sunny and 60* - Nah, no weird weather patterns happening around the world.

I have a list of things that I need to do today- I forgot to pay bills yesterday so that is first up. I cut in the edges of the DR yesterday and they need a second coat before I start rolling. Thankfully, I am only doing the bottom half of the walls, since we have a chair rail and the top half is beige. And there are only 3 walls since it is an open plan. If I don't get both coats done today, I will def. have them done tomorrow.
I also have some CT work, and I have been very neglectful in the Gallery.

So there you have it, a nice mix fun/work/aggravation.

Hoping that all of you are enjoying your days and that the sun is shining too.

Nancy- you had a wacky day too, you must have spent more time in your car than at home. How is DH feeling? I hope that this isn't going to be Round 2 of illness and flu for everyone.
Bet you and Luther had a nice relaxing day yesterday and went lots of walks. How much snow will you be getting? Looks like you are starting with rain and sleet first? That is way worse than plain snow.
hah!! I didn't even think of that- not having to call the HS. She emailed her professors directly so nothing for me to do except rub her back a bit.

Trudy- ugh for you still being sick. Stop looking at Pinterest!!! I actually want to start looking at gardening/yard ideas soon. That is good for me think about. You are right about the snow. It will be needed for spring thaw and runoff.
Is Crown good for guys too? I want to see that, but I am not sure if my Gary would be interested.

Rae- that is beyond crazy that you are getting more and more snow. I know Taz is happy but he isn't the one shoveling *grins*

Sharon- I hope that Revo helps your computer issues. Ugh about the car. Caitlyn's car has the @#$^$##^(*%#$@ Check Engine Ligh ton again. This after having it for a week and $500 of work for the same %#&*%%#%$ thing!
I would love Lasik too. But it is expensive. Years ago, I entered a contest that if I had won would have Lasik as part of the grand prize. I made it far enough as a semi-finalist to meet with the eye surgeon to see if I was a good candidate. I was, but I didn't end up winning.
That is a tough decision about both DDs wanting/needing it. Maybe give them the same amount? I feel bad when my parents give me more than they give my brother in help. But we are one one small SS Disability payment and my brother and his wife both have 6-figure salaries.
My mom told me when I talked to her about it that it is like having two kids drowning and only one life preserver. One kid can swim, the other can't so who do you give the life preserver too.
Not sure what my little story helps you, but that is what was running through my head so I typed it out. :rofl:

Time for me to get some b-fast and painting clothes on.

Good morning - the snow is really coming down, the heaviest since I got up around 6:30. It is gorgeous and since it will be quick moving by tomorrow the roads will be plowed and things moving again. My son and DH are both having snow days. Once they get up and moving may get Luther out. Right now he is sleeping LOL. Me I am off driving duty for the day. We cancelled the puppy training and will do make up on Monday so that is perfect. Yesterday was amazing temperature wise at we had a record high of 65. Luther and I got out for two good walks. And it was just sweat shirt no heavy coat. What wacky weather. My DH has a sinus infection. They are not sure if related to root canal and tooth infection.

Chris hope you get the lesser snow but looks like they are increasing the snow levels in my area. Glad you are taking it slow with the painting! Hope Cait is feeling better.

Trudy hope you feel better soon! It is not fun to be stuck home, it is one thing to stay home in the snow because you decide it is safest but to be stuck just has a different feel. At least that is how I feel when I have no car! Good luck with the Pintrest search. Hope you don't have too much new snow.

Rae I can't believe how often you have lost power. It would drive me crazy! Good luck catching up with the work and have loads of fun with Taz.

Sharon my girlfriend had her eyes done and she is much happier but it did not bring her eyes to 20/20 as hers were so bad to begin with but she was much happier. Good luck making the decision about how to help.

Hi everyone- After it being 80 yesterday, it is in the 60's today- guess we are getting that cold front, just no so cold!

Good morning, ladies. We never got the snow they predicted, just a bit and now it is pouring rain. After seeing Taz race out the door, leaping down the stairs to the snow inthe backyard each morning, I felt bad seeing him stand at the top of the stairs, peering out into the rain and then headed back indoors to the couch. He still hasn't gone outside yet this morning. Poor little guy. There is still a lot of snow out there but it is all waterlogged now. Last night we went for one more walk before the rain came and he had so much fun racing through the snow with a retriever he met.

Today I will work, scrap a bit and need to figure out what to have dinner. I'm leaning towards spaghetti and meatballs. I'm watching the early preview for season two of Missing (show from the UK) before starting work in a bit.

Chris - painting seems to be coming along nicely. Good for you. You are always so busy. Hope Cait is feeling better today.

Nancy - you've got the snow now and we've got the rain. All our lovely snow will soon be gone.

I'm going to go watch the rest of the tv show and get to work. Have a great day, everyone.

Morning ladies... Well this morning I woke up to the Heat pump working away to try to get the house warm and checked it outside, the dam thing is frozen solid and has probably been that way most of the night. The fan will not turn around and you can see that it is a solid block of ice! Must have had freezing rain in the night and even though I poured boiling hot water all over it, it is still not working :gaah: another thing to get fixed!! This one could be a hefty hit to the wallet!! DH is coming home soon to see what he can do. But I got a bad feeling about this one! Really hoping that with the temps warming up today it will thaw and all will be ok. (wishful thinking!!) Anyway I have the fireplace going and a little space heater in the computer room, so I will not be cold. Still hacking up a lung and feeling kinda crappy this is not turning out to be a good morning!

Chris - I feel the same way about our heat pump as you do about Cait's Car!! :rant: The lights have flickered a few time here and so I am expecting the power to go out soon, wouldn't that just put the icing on the cake for me today LOL. Hope you get your painting done and you love the colour! I think that my project is going to have to wait until I can open the windows to have fresh air. I want to re-do our staircase and I will need to use a gel stain which will be very stinky!! Sure hope that Cait's car is not going to be another costly repair! I am also hoping that your snowfall does not end up being too much!

Nancy - Good decision to cancel the puppy training if your weather is as crazy as it sounds! Snow days for the guys, bet they are happy! Hope that they are not underfoot for you though! Luther will be happy to have them home!

Sharon - Wish our temps were like that!

Rae - Thank goodness not as much snow as expected and poured rain all night long! Freezing rain for us and now we have to deal with a slushy mess! Oh well you don't have to shovel the rain. Sorry that Taz is not enjoying the rain so much! Hope you get time to scrap a bit today and your work is not too heavy!

Well DH is on his way home to check out the heat pump, keep your fingers crossed for us that we don't have to get a new one Ugh!! :wave:
