Big day in Sweden today! Early this morning (Swedish time) a brand new little princess was born. http://www.foxnews.com/world/2012/02/23/swedens-crown-princess-gives-birth-to-baby-girl/

Let's party! :)

Good morning/day/night to all of you!!!
How is my O-Fam today?

The weather here has been fantastic-- we got up to 55* yesterday, and I even took the doggy for a walk. She was so happy!
It is supposed to be close to that again today, but cloudy. But wow-- for someone who hates snow, this has been the best winter ever. :D

Maureen, I am 100% with Trudy and Phyllis. Your life-crap is going to be with you either in MD or in HI, might as well be sitting in the sun and listening to the ocean.
Did you hear any news on your DD's progress?

Eva- semla looks delish!!!!! Hope you can get some today. :hungry:

Trudy-- I love the idea of the headstones, we have several cats and rats in our back yard too. And a fancy goldfish that we flushed but got backed up out of our septic when it was clogged up. (ewwww, I know, TMI!!). Anyway-- we have a piles of stones and a little sleeping angel figurine that marks the spot, but I love the headstones. And to me, that is not morbid at all, but very respectful. Hope you had a great day crafting!

Phyllis- my neighbor and I were saying the same thing yesterday- her daffodils are halfway up and at some point we *will* get snow. Poor things!
But I am enjoying the sun while I can.

I hope my kids don't turn into alien strangers either. I can't imagine anything worse. :(

Hi Clara- hope you got everything done that you needed to!

Kristy- how is your girl today? Hope all of you are better.

Eva- I think I heard that Rammstein over here.

Laurie-- oooh, you are smooooth with the dance moves!

Gotta run, love and hugs to all!

congrats to Sweden, Eva! she's going to be all over the newspapers for years, i'll bet.

Chris, i'm loving this "winter" weather, too. i hop nothing goofy happens in March.... but hey, we're almost at the end of February. i can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

up at 5 a.m. to bed at midnight. something's got to give with this sleeping thing. or NOT sleeping thing. i don't feel tired at all, but man, would i love to go for 8 hours just ONCE! going to a dietician today to try to get some order in my chaotic eating style. i know how to eat to keep my blood sugar down, but i'm pretty sure that WHAT i eat just isn't doing me much good. i mean, how much salami and string cheese can you eat before something gives?

have a sweet Thursday, y'all. 57 degrees here today. woot!

morning all - I had my tooth worked on- made a temporary fake one and then I drove to where I met up with my husband- he is such a sweetie- I have a beautiful bouquet of flowers from him. Off to breakfast soon, then walmart to shop for door prizes with the men. Then a little me time before the appreciation luncheon.

congrats to Sweden, Eva! she's going to be all over the newspapers for years, i'll bet.

She sure will - she's our future Queen. Her mother is the Crown Princess, so she's next in line, but after her, the princess that was born today, will be our Queen. Not that it will happen very soon, our King is still a "young" man :)

The first photo is out already ... not that you see much of her LOL

Morning Ladies... Lovely day here today also, not much on the agenda for today, just the usual.

Chris - If you didn't live so far away I would love to paint some headstones for you, but dang girl those river rocks are heavy!! It would cost a small fortune in postage LOL.

Eva - Congrats to the Royal Couple, she just had the baby and by the looks of the picture they are ready to drive home! Wow!!

Phylis - That's awful that you can not seem to get a full night of sleep!! Perhaps a change of diet will do the trick, also a lot less family drama would help out also!! Stress is the worst!!! Enjoy your visit to the dietician today along with the warmer temps!!

Laurie - More flowers from your MG?? You are very spoiled by him, but you deserve it!! Have fun shopping!!

Donna - Ewwww, garbage pickup, darn dogs!! With us its the racoons you have to worry about, although they have not been bad lately. Where I used to live as a small girl the bears were the ones that always got in the garbage. Enjoy your trip through the gallery!! So much beauty there!!

Kristy - Oh dear your little one is still sick and now it sounds like it is spreading, where do you work that you can take them along with you? Hope everyone is on the mend soon!

Well off to get some breakfast and another cup of :tea: Have a great day everyone!!

Hello my dear friends

checking up on your goings on..... my life seems so boring when I read about yours.

Do you get a national holiday because of the Princess, Eva?

DH has just gone to buy me a laptop table - looks kinda like a hospital tray table. I'm hoping it will allow me to have more computer time and actually do a layout this weekend. I would like to complete one more challenge this month!

Been working mainly on IPad, as I can't get in a position at computer where I'm not hurting. Hope this little relapse will wear itself out in few days.

seems like I'm writing the word "hope" a lot :)

Did you see Michael's promo for Merkee's new kit? If you haven't have a look. She has come up with some incredible quote tags. My favourite was written by an 8 year old
"If you're feeling blue, paint yourself a different colour"
the magic of childhood thinking... always amazing.

Kristy hope your babies get better soon - one feels so helpless at times with a sick child

Phylis, let me know what your dietitian recommends - my DH thinks I'm going to starve to death - have no appetite - of course Walker's shortbread is always good :)

yes, this winter weather is something else eh? The Great White North (sometimes called The Great Wet North) is very mild - spotted crocus breaking thru in neighbour's garden.

think I hear the car - here's hoping my new table helps!!

lotsa hugs

Hello ladies. Just came back from the most awesome snorkeling trip. Saw a baby whale on the way back.

Eva, congrats on the baby princess. How much fun that must be!

Maureen, I really hope that the time on the beaches gives you some healing. It has sure rested me.

Chris, this winter weather has been crazy! My brother went fishing yesterday (in Iowa) and caught a 3 pound bass. That is unheard of in February. However, they are supposed to be getting 2 to 5 inches of snow today. I will need to check FB to find out for sure.

Back later with more personals.

Evening all- wonderful time with the Amish & Mennonite ladies today, then drove 2+ hours and had a real workout with a 70 year old professional who recently got back from Italy where he was taking lessons!
