Today is Groundhog Day, right? It feels like I am in the Groundhog Day movie, every day is the same. :D
I wonder what the consensus will be about Spring? I hope it will be right around the corner.

I am not sure what I did yesterday. I was able to get in touch with the Heating Assistance and the credit will start posting in March. Whew. Then I realized in the batch of Rxs we came home with last week, one of mine was missing so I had to get in touch with my Dr. I was in no mood to call about my mammo Rx, especially since my scar was really acting up, so I decided that could wait- and it came in the mail so that was something I didn't have to deal with. Today I have to make the appt, and I hate that it says "High Risk" on the form. I mean, I get it, I will be "High Risk" for the rest of my life, but I don't like seeing it in black and white, dammit.

Gary was going to cook dinner last night but he is herxing (well, duh. This is what happens when you stop your abx during an active infection :rollpin: ) so Caitlyn and I made breakfast for dinner. Yum!!! I have to say, eggs are so much better when they are local/free range. A local farm donates eggs to the food pantry and we can really taste the difference.

Today I have to get for my teeth cleaning, ugh. Then I want to stop in and get some paint swatches to pick out the paint I need for the DR. That will be my next project.

Better get going since I have to be dressed and out of the house by 8.30.

Have a wonderful and spectacular day!

Cindy- my inherent nature is to be optimistic but there are days/weeks it gets really hard. Being here helps a lot!
Are you using any app or program to remind you to take pictures? I am mad at myself too, I finally got my camera working again at Christmas, and I have hardly taken any pictures at all.

nancy- there are a couple of those kinds of turns in my town that are notorious for that. Lane to lane turning, people !!! Leah was in a small accident yesterday too. She rear-ended another car, but no damage to either car, no info was shared. She was shaky so Scott went over to be with her after school.
I hope that you are able to get it repaired and that the other insurance co doesn't give you trouble.

Trudy- oh how jealous I am of you to go on a beautiful hike! Soooo jealous! Did you get pictures this time? Hope to see them in your gorgeous LOs.
Happy birthday to your Gary and to your brother too!

Rae- I wish I had your time management skills. Sure, the first day back was difficult but you will be back on track in no time.
Whoa!!! That is a great deal on your monitor!
Yes, I am stark raving mad. It is true.

Sharon-you must be exhausted from that trip. How hard for you to have to spend all of that time driving, especially on the way home. I would complain when I had to take the kids to their Lyme Dr. It was 2 hours each way, plus about 2-3 hours that we would be there. 7 hours in a car is way too long. I hope that your dad is doing ok. :(
I hope that getting puppy snuggles and kisses helped the stress levels go down.

My dad is doing great, so thats very good news. I think next time I visit I will stay overnight...I am too old for this stuff.

I strained my upper back and when my dogs woke me up at 5:00 it was killing me. I took pain meds and got the heating pad.

Morning O-zies... wow I slept like the dead last night!! It must have been all that lovely crisp fresh air and sunshine!! Chris you would have loved this hike! I did take a few shots with my iPhone, wish I could have taken more, but the darn thing is old and not much memory left on it. I had to delete a bunch of messages that I had on it before I could take any photos at all :mmph: Oh well I have made pages with most of the photos on my phone so I will have them always anyway. It was very windy on our hike though, but still a very enjoyable one.

Chris - Glad to hear that your heating cost will be fixed up by March and that you did not have to deal with your mammo Rx.!! Hope that your cleaning goes will at the Dentist and that it is pain free for you! Hopefully no fillings or anything like that either! You teeth will feel so much better at the end! Glad to hear that Leah is ok and no damage or dealing with Insurance companies involved! Nice of Scott to go and comfort her too! What a guy!! Yes the free range eggs are so much better aren't they!! I hate having to pay the extra $ but it is so worth it!! I just love having a hard boiled egg for a snack once in a while and the flavour is so much nicer with free range!

Sharon - Glad to hear that your father is doing well and ya I would stay overnight next time too!! That is far too long to spend in the car! Sorry that you are hurting today, hope the meds and heating pad help you feel better soon!

Nancy - We are probably cross posting again today, I hope you are having a lovely day with Luther and that your trip to the trainer was good today too!

Rae - Wow great deal on your new monitor!! Back to reality and work again ugh! It is hard to get started after a nice long time away, but you will soon fall into the routine again, you are such an organized lady!! I really do not know how you do it all!!

Ok I need to get the birthday cake baked for DH today and hopefully fit in some swimming sometime this morning too. Have a wonderful Thursday ladies... do something fun today!

Good morning, ladies. Was busy this morning getting some files loaded into LR and setting up an import preset that I like. I am trying to streamline my editing so that I can load photos into computer, apply preset and get them into the online storage before erasing off card. That will be a good system going forward but time consuming for older photos. But, a little at a time, every day, and I will get them done eventually.

Time to start my desk job now so no play time for a few hours. I just heard from our computer guy that Bailey's computer is ready. So we'll be setting that up on the wkend for her. Can't wait to get her going on it.

Chris - glad you got things straightened out. Teeth cleaning...ugh....but a necessary evil (I hate dentist visits).

Trudy - how wonderful you are baking a cake for your DH. BTW, I am loving your Anna pages lately! I am soooo tempted to take her class for the year but am hesitating about the money. I sure would like to though. I bet she has lots of little tricks to share.

Nancy & Sharon - hope you are having a great day.

Off I go to work now. Still not used to working more hours again. Plus, dog walking should start up again next month. I should just stop sleeping....wait...I already gave that up yrs ago LOL. Oh well, I always get things done somehow LOL. Have a great day, everyone.

Afternoon, all. The sun is shining on the snow again today (oh well, groundhog!) but when we went out to run errands the car wouldn't start (notice that is THE car, only have one.) Someone is coming to try to start it and if that works (hope it's just a dead battery) DH is taking it in to the service dept. So much for errands today.

Chris, you really rocked the Feb. challenges! Still hard to believe the rats are so cute. And I get to feed your font habit a little more too! Hope your teeth are feeling happy and clean and everything else today winds up manageable.

Sharon, sorry about your back! Yes, stay overnight next trip. But glad your Dad is doing OK.

Trudy we all wish we could see the views on your hikes IRL but photos from your phone still sound good. Hope the swimming was good and the cake makes your MG happy.

Rae, is that how you get everything done - no sleep? Hope it doesn't come to that. How fun it will be getting Bailey set up with the computer.

Hope everyone is getting through the day just fine.
