 Another rainy day here in NJ. It must have been cold enough overnight to turn into some slush since the windshields are coated. The sun was out briefly and I parked far away from the doors to the supermarket and medical center. I needed to get a bit of fresh air.
I was dreading yesterday more than I should have. Everything was fine and got finished without too much of a hassle. The only thing I didn't do was pay bills. Nothing was urgent and I knew that my mood wasn't up to the task. That is first up on my To-Do list for today.

PT went well- next week I will start doing balancing exercises. Goody! I get to look like a drunken fool again.

Today I will be doing some desk work and then cleaning this afternoon.
HAGD! ::grouphug

Trudy- sorry you are having blah days too. I desperately want to get out and get some sunshine and exercise but nope- the weather isn't cooperating here either (at least it's not snow, at least it's not snow!)
Ummm.... maybe you need to revoke that Ancestry subscription. hehe! Some people, like my mom, shouldn't have access to computers. Sounds like your ILs shouldn't have access to that website :D
That is pretty awesome that you were able to go back that far to find your MILs ancestor. Very cool! I am going to insert an exasperated "MEN!" in regards to your FIL. All of that time telling your MIL what to do and his tree is all screwed up. Oh my.
Great news with your blood work results. You are doing so much good stuff for yourself. Congrats on the sales. :high5:

Jean- I hope that the weather was warm enough to not get icy overnight. I think at this point here, it is just rain although who knows what is happening up the mountain.
My dad has an artificial hip and she has seen all sorts of medical devices attached and implanted with Gary and me. But it has to be a different ball game when it is your body that something strange is going into.
I hope that your meeting at the senior center was fun.

Karen- the dr was able to do all of your test in one day? That stinks it took so long but at least you didn't have to go back. When I had that done (years ago so things change) I had the stress test/injection part done on one day and then had to go back the next day for the scanning part. I never know whether to wish that they find something so you have an answer or not. My wish is for the best of information and health to you!!
Interesting about how to start your day. I didn't see "drink coffee" on that list so how can you get the other things done without it? :tea:
It makes a lot of sense, I wish I was capable of starting my day that way.

xoxo

Morning O-zies!! Will try to get done with this before Heather calls, but it is doubtful. She seems to call earlier these days. Guess with both boys home today she will be a busy gal! She had yesterday all to herself, so we did not talk at all. I think she really likes all that time to herself LOL. Anyway, yesterday was very productive I got some more coasters and trivets made, a bit of housework and even started a layout for one of the challenges. Oh and I made Chili for my DH. He was happy to smell it cooking when he got home from work! I did get out for a walk, but was glad that I did not go on the hike, the wind was very cold and it was dreary and grey outside. Still it was nice to get the fresh air! I really should have worn my mitts, my poor hands were freezing by the time I got back home! Dam Raynauds !! Today I will work to finish my page and get to the pool for my laps. Oh I also got some more music uploaded to my waterproof player, so I will have lots to listen to while I swim :becky:

Chris - Ugh on your rainy weather!! Sure hope it clears up for both of us soon! Last week the forecast was supposed to be sunshine for most of this week, but boy were they wrong!! LOL Yes maybe I should just cancel the ancestry subscription! I talked with MIL again yesterday and she was very happy that I located a couple of books that had some of the Powell family history in them. One is located in Courtney, so she went to the library to see if she could get it sent here. The librarian told her that she would not be able to check the book out, but could look at it here at our library. So Yay!! I told her to take pictures of the pages that had her family history. She said "OMG I would never have thought to do that!!" LOL.

Jean - Sure hope that you did not get another blast of Winter weather!!! Yuck is right! Thanks for liking my new paintings on Instagram! Thank you again for the PM too! My MIL is wondering why there are so many Thomas's on the family tree, I really need to take a good look at it as I am not sure if she means their first names or last names?? She does not know how to follow through with finding out who these people are. I will try to help her out when we go up there this weekend. Wanna come and help us? LOL . How did your group session go yesterday?

Karen - Love the way that we are supposed to start our days, but like Chris I couldn't do that without my coffee first LOL . Hope that the testing gives you the answers to your problems with your heart! Waiting for the results is the hardest part!!

Well what do you know?? I got this completed before Heather called LOL. I will grab another cup of joe and get my bed made etc. I hope that you all have a fabulous day!! Pray for sunshine for us all please!

Hello girls!
I was busy at work and frustrated to try to synchronized my vet's schedule, my own and on dad who will be the driver. I know for girl like Rae this is probably children game, but I'm very disorganized chaotic person and for me is challenge to plan by hours and keep to the plan.
In additional I'm a little bit sore around the Valentine's day. It's never been something other than regular day for me, but this year I had sort of hope that it could be different, but NO, nope, I keep mistaking signs that I'm received. Nevermind! There is so much more important things that I have to be concentrated on right now!

Karen, I'm wondering did start the day posting in this thread can be count as journaling?! I'm always knew that O is healthy for our brains!

Jean, hope the weather cooperate and you shouldn't drive on icy roads to the senior center!

Chris, tomorrow must be hard day for Cait, hope you have some fun plans for distraction. And don't forget the song I told you  ! Oh, nice that the seminar was helpful. And bravo for the initiative to ask questions instead your mom! I'm not sure do will have standard wishing for 'easy work day' in english, but anyway I hope that you was in mood easily to cross off your tasks for today!

Trudy, the waterproof player is one of the coolest things I'm hear about! It must be heavenly to be one with the water and the gentle voices of favorite music! What you listening? Great that Heather was able to got some me time! This situation must be very overwhelmed for the parents, should have better way for protesting!

Good morning, ladies. Busy getting papers and totals ready to take to accountant later this afternoon. No scrapping for me today. Desk work needs to be finished before we leave this afternoon so nose to the grindstone today....

Chris - glad that PT went well. Its cold and wet here too. I don't know why I live in BC where it rains so much :)

Felis - ha ha...I am disorganized too, its just that I try so hard that some things get organized but many do not :)

Trudy - sounds like you got a lot done yesterday. I bet Heather enjoyed a day to herself. What young mom doesn't?

Nancy - it's your birthday today, isn't it??? Hope you have a wonderful day and get pampered. Dinner out tonight?

I'd better get started on my desk work. Have a great day everyone.
