GooOd Morning O-Fam! I slept until 6.30 today! woot!!! I did feel a pang of guilt but then reminded myself how much I need sleep.

The temps here dropped a lot yesterday. I was 60* on Tuesday and dropped into the 20s by nighttime yesterday. It looks like we got some snow/freezing rain overnight. I am glad I don't have to drive anywhere today.

Yesterday I spent more time dealing with health insurance issues. I got an automated call from healthcare.gov saying that I need to pay my premium before the 31st to have coverage for Jan 1. I log into the new health insurance company (my old one pulled out of the Exchanges, dammit) and there was no record of my payment. Sometimes it takes a while for the invoices to catch up so I paid it again (I probably shouldn't have) because I can't *not* have coverage and freaked out over it a bit. while I was on the website, I remembered that I never checked to see if my breast surgeon was in the plan. I swear to God, the search feature on these sites should not be so difficult. Every insurance company has a different way of searching. My old ins co. site had my breast surgeon listed under Surgery: Oncology. This one-- nope. Nowhere to be found. I had to go to her website, then find her Group Name, since I couldn't find her under her actual name, and was able to find her that way. Then I had to see if she accepts my "version" of AmeriHealth, since there are about 10 different levels of coverage. After that, I wanted to check to see if my GYN is in the plan, i had to go through the whole darn process again. :frusty:

After over an hour or so of that, I *think* that they are both in the plan but am not 100% sure. Ye gads, what a mess.

Today i am going to clean a little bit more here, then I am off to clean for my neighbor.

Hope that everyone has a fantastic day and stays warm!

Nancy- oh man, what a bummer about the Devils. They really need to find a way to keep their stride. That is cool that you and your DH play Trivial Pursuit. Cait plays that, or something similar, with Brendan, that and Words with Friends.
How fun to have Luther and Bella play together.

Rae- that is good news about the computers, you must be getting excited. Does Bailey know about hers yet? Taz is such a cutie pie! When Jaida wants to play with us, she does this little jump-prance routine. One time, Cait didn't respond and she flopped on the kitchen floor and had a little tantrum.

Trudy- yikes! How is your Gary feeling this morning after that fall? I bet he is all banged up from that :(
I "lucked" out. My friends and I met in the afternoon for coffee. Wine would have been nice, but it was nice to be back home by dinner time.
I am with you, I have had my cell for almost 3 years and it wasn't a great one to begin with. It was a Free with 2-year Contract. It has no space to do any of that. My ILs gave me cash for Christmas and I put that away to replace this one when it dies for good, hopefully not anytime soon!
How is Mason? Did you get to play with him and his new toys while on Facetime?

Rae- how is your DH's ankle? All better?

Yuck- looks like the precip is all snow now. :smow: boooooo hisssss!!!

Have fun today!

good morning - it is raining here and it is a sad week losing Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds. Just sad! Luther and I did a really quick walk in the rain. When my DH took Luther this am it was not raining - he lucked out. But Luther is happy! Yesterday my girlfriends daughter brought her girlfriend and her shepherd Riley over. She is an 8 month old and 80 pounds. OMgosh she was a bit intimidated by Luther to begin with and then the sorted it out and they played and played. It was so cute. She would tease Luther to get him to chase her and because she is a bit smaller she was able to squeeze between bushes. But it was awesome to see Luther when she would get stuck not go after her but give her her space to get out and then start the chase again. Both Jess and Julia were so pleased at how sweet Luther is. He only jumped on Jess because she wanted him too so that is fantastic! It was so funny to see what messy drinkers they are. And Riley lies down to drink. Well after playing with Bella in the am and Riley in the afternoon he was one happy but tired dog. Got more pages done so that really makes me happy.

Ok I have been meaning to ask for the past couple of weeks. For you ladies that do behind the scenes stuff. I always select I want email when some makes a comment but I no longer am receiving these emails. Do you have a clue as to what may have happened? Thanks

Chris congrats on the good sleep! You must have needed it and since you don't have to be up for kids and school just enjoy guilt free! The government sites are crazy. hope cleaning goes well!

Rae sounds like you have your week well planned. Luther comes in an makes it know when he needs a little attention and play time. Love how dogs know what they want. Cant wait to hear how the new computers work. You are a good Aunt to learn PSE15 so you can help Bailey!

Trudy how is your MG today. I would think that today he will be feeling the effects. Poor guy. Saw a video on twitter I think of a kid skating on his street after an ice storm in Minnesota. Ice storms are the worst! Our temps are too high to have ice. Glad you had a nice talk with Heather and Mason!

Have a great day all!

Good morning! Oh my goodness! What a 2.5 months its been. I've been without my computer for 68 days!!! I spent 2+ months in Colorado and was on the go every single day. We went to so many places and had so many wonderful adventures. (I may have found a new place I want to move?) My sister's computer had been moved to her office so I had none there and when I got home this week, my computer was unavailable, because it was in my guest room, where my dad was staying. I flew home and he was almost waiting in my driveway, as he drove from Georgia to my home. Having lost my mom this past year, I am glad he came, as I know he is lonely. I cut my vacation short (I was going to be staying, in colorado, until January 4th) when he called and said he wanted to come stay with me over Christmas. How could I not come home early? We had a great time together and stayed on the go as well. I admit that it was almost like my dad was a little kid or puppy, following me around every moment of the day. He talked about my mom a lot and we laughed and cried while talking about our wonderful memories, over the years. As he pulled out of the driveway, this morning, I took a deep breath, turned the heat down (he likes it way more warmer than me :eyebrows: ) and RAN to my computer!! Oh how wonderful a keyboard feels under these fingers! I am anxious to get busy, here, again. A lot to read and catch up on but geez its good to be back!

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas! I'm looking forward to a dull-boring New Year's Eve and play in OScrap-land! I hope ya'll have a great end of the year and a mah'velous 2017.

Good morning, ladies. I enjoyed relaxing last night, chatting with my hubs and playing with Taz. We had a nice spaghetti dinner (turkey leftovers in the freezer now, I'm sick of it for awhile). It should be a good day. I've got a bit of work left to finish up but should be all done by the end of today and then nothing coming in until the second week of January which will only be 1-2 hours of work a day until the end of the month. I need that break. I am feeling tired and worn out. I need to call the vet today to bring Taz in for his bum cleanout. He did good this time though and lasted about 6 weeks. That's the longest he's gone between visits. Maybe the powder supplement is helping. We'll see how long he goes until the next visit. wish the rain would stop so I can get Taz out to the park. I hate going when it's weather like this though b/c it just becomes a big mud pit.

Chris - yes, we told Bailey about her computer on Xmas day and she is very excited to get it. Thx for asking about Darrell. His ankle is much better, he isn't wearing the tensor brace much now but is still wearing his boots when he goes out to help stabilize the ankle. Every now and then he moves the wrong way and lets out a groan. The swelling is mostly gone now.

Nancy - how fun for Luther to play with the pup. Yes, that is so sad about Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds.

Trudy - hope you DH is feeling better today after his fall. Poor guy, he's had a rough time lately with the fall and being sick. Hope the new year will be a healthy one for him.

Danesa - good to hear from you. That's a long time to be off the computer. I have never gone more than a week or so and that seemed like a lifetime LOL. How wonderful to have spent Xmas with your dad, I hope it was emotionally healing, sharing memories and feelings. We're going to have a very quiet new years too. I'm looking forward to food, movies and just relaxing with my hubs and Taz.

I'm going to get this work done now and then can enjoy some scrapping time which has been sorely lacking this month. I can't scrap as much on my computer in the LR, as ergonomically it isn't set up for long bouts of scrapping (my arm gets sore with the angle and height of the wacom tablet) but I'll be happy to get a page done. I miss my scrapping time.

Have a wonderful day, everyone.

Good morning O-zies!! Poor MG is a hurting man today, no broken bones or anything but he sure feels like he got hit by Truck! It was such a shock to him as he did not think that the driveway even looked slippery. He is still also dealing with his darn cold, cough and upset stomach issues too! He will be glad to see this year end!! :becky: I on the other hand feel just fine and still can't believe that I have not caught any of the sickness going around. I slept until almost 8:30 this morning :bliss: I feel like I have slept the day away though! This afternoon I am hoping to see my brother Tom and SIL Veronica for a visit. They are anxious I bet to have their son and his family finally get home to B.C. for a ski vacation all the way from Australia. Their grandkids have never seen snow, so we are hoping that there is lots on the mountain for them!

Chris - Oh dear another day of dealing with the health insurance from HELL!!! :flame: I am at least happy for you that you got to sleep in for a bit today! Sure hope that if you have paid for ins. twice now that you get a speedy refund, but for some reason I doubt that will happen :sorry: Hope your day of cleaning goes quickly and that the snow does not fall for too long today!

Nancy - It has been a sad week hasn't it! So many celebs lost this year, it will be good to see this year fade away and hopefully 2017 will bring more joy to the world! As for your behind the scenes question, well I think that many are having this same issue and I know that Vicki is working on it. I think it is a cliche that will be resolved in the New Year as many changes are coming for the site. I will let you know if I find out anything more. How nice that Luther is having such a great time with his new play friend!! Looking forward to seeing your pages!!

Danesa - Welcome back!! Wow you have been absent and without a computer for a long time! Hope to hear more about your trip, it sounds like you had an amazing time!! Of course you had to come home early to be with your Dad!! You are a good daughter!! He must be missing your Mother so much as are you I am sure! Isn't it funny that men need to have the heat turned up so high LOL. My FIL likes to stay in their basement with the wood burning stove running all day long and just about cooks my MIL out of the house :becky: It drives her bonkers that she needs to open the windows and patio doors just so she can stand being in the upstairs of the house. Nice to have you back here in Oscrap-land!!

Well I better get showered and dress and get my floors cleaned before my company arrives this afternoon, its only my brother I know, but I have this thing about having a clean house when ever anyone comes to visit. Have a lovely day everyone!!

Hi Rae  we cross posted again! Hope you get to spend some time scrapping today, it will be a quiet New Year for us also! I think that most people stay home now, well at least most people our age LOL. It is just to darn expensive to go anywhere and I am lucky to even make it to midnight on any given night. It will be a great break for you to enjoy less work time in the coming month!! Hope that Taz's bum clean goes well ewwww!! :becky:
