Is it time for more panda-rolling videos? I think so but I don't have an extra second this morning to look for them. I might need to find a paper bag to breathe into but I don't know where I can find one of them either. Plastic bags do *not* work, so don't even think of trying it, Faery ;)

Yesterday, I got everything on my To-Do list crossed off other than painting the spackle spots in the LR/DR. I am trying to prioritize with varying results. I spent way too much time trying to pick out a nail polish color and annoyed Caitlyn by sending her several photos of choices. I am deciding between sheer pink or nude, pearly white, or dark blue. Any thoughts since apparently I am so brain-fried I can't make a decision? painting might need to wait or not happen at all. Will anyone notice??

Cleaning for my friend this morning so at least that gives me a three-hour window when I don't need to make any decisions. :D Scott is coming for dinner and a game tonight which is awesome. I know what I am cooking, I just need to cook it.
I'd love to catch up on some Cheery O work but I'm struggling with that. My mind is spiraling and it might explode. Which I don't want since then I'll need to clean it up. Do vacuums clean up brain splatter as well as oven crumbs? :vacuuming:

Hooo boy, I am rambling! I'll shut up now. :censored:

Hugs!

@taxed4ever I hope you are having a wonderful trip!

@BrightEyes What a lot of love and work you are putting into the wedding albums, they will be treasured!

@JeanneMN That is what I keep saying to Caitlyn-- that once things get moving, they are just going to *go* and no one will notice if anything isn't "correct." I told her about the "mistakes" and things I forgot for the shower and no one had a clue.
A long time ago, one of my kids was squeezing a bottle of glitter glue at the table and it exploded all over the ceiling. It would have made more of a mess to clean it, so I left it there. It looked pretty when the light shone on it. LOL

@vickyday A lounging day sounds wonderful, the car in the shop, not so much.
TFS the song lyrics. I am not religious but nature is so full of wonder and miracles.

@Terri M I hope that you were able to find a good way to get around the cities instead of sitting and waiting in the hotels. Sounds very exciting!
(had to LOL at your Clinton comment :D)

@AK_Tracy
dont think youre missing anything but the ability to read her jumbled thoughts.
yeah-- hers and mine LOL!
Thanks for the advice, I made sure I gave her a lot of hugs yesterday.

@BoatLady That's crazy how you go the shingles shot and your twin got shingles!
Sorry that the fridge quit on you -- have a safe trip home!

@Cherylndesigns I hear ya, I feel so far behind on everything too.
That's so cool that Daisy is an Emotional Support Dog! Caitlyn looked into that when she was in HS and struggling, she wanted to get the rats certified. Of course!

Vicky-- whew! Awesome news about the car repair!

I need to log off, it is almost 8 am and that is my cut-off time.

Good Morning!
Made myself get up and walk this morning after missing out yesterday since the car was in the shop. Good news on that....It cost the low end of the possible charges.....only $441 instead of $1,000! Thank You, Lord!
So, I woke up at 4:30 again today! I'm beginning to think that is an O thing, too! ;). Took some Tylenol and just couldn't go back to sleep. So when hubby left I certainly wanted to stay in bed, but I made myself get up. I'm glad I did! I'm not sure how far I walk because I did some exploring on a paved route around the parking lots and other out buildings at the park. I walked the first mile around the sandy track, but it is hard walking because they added more sand over the weekend. After the first mile I decided to test the other areas I could see people jogging/walking on. Much better! So, since I have been doing 2 miles in about 35 minutes I just walked until that time was up! I will probably do that from now on!
Mark and I were planning to go to lunch today but neither of our tummies are feeling up to it! I'm ready to eat, just not sure what to try. Maybe I'll just eat some yogurt.
I think I am going to go out and work in my she shed some today. There are some craft books out there that I think I am going to try to sell on FB marketplace. I've got a ton of old paper scrapbooking ones. Did I tell you I sold more stuff last Sunday to 2 girls? Both of them asked me if I was quitting scrapbooking. I told them I do everything digitally now.
OK, that's about it for me today. I need to take some more Tylenol, eat something and then head to the she shed.
HAGD!

I am deciding between sheer pink or nude, pearly white, or dark blue.
I'll have to let one of the other Fashionistas answer that one! Sorry, I'm no help along those lines!
Scott is coming for dinner and a game tonight which is awesome
YAY! Love playing games with my kids!

It was an OK day. I did get caught up on my ATCs.
I know you are not religious. Actually, I am not religious, either! The problem with religion is that a lot of the time it is a bunch of rules and regulations and traditions when it should be about a relationship with Jesus Christ!
I agree with you, too.....nature IS so full of wonder and miracles! It shows great design, not chaos!
Vicky-- whew! Awesome news about the car repair!
AMEN to that!

Not feeling good at all... woke up at 2 AM shivering. Stumbled into the guest room and pulled out a heavy blanket to put over the comforter. Was up at 5:30 AM running a 100.3F temperature and the tummy was not happy. it was feeling empty but even crackers didn't sit well on it. Stubbled back into bed and slept until 8AM. Yes, the temp is still around 100* and the tummy isn't happy. The only thing that sounds good is tapioca but of course I don't have any. Made a vanilla milk shake and that seems to help but taking is slow. Yes, the Covid shot is having some side-effects so will be resting for the next few days. I will call DD#3 later on this morning and see if she would be willing to go buy me some tapioca and more milk. I am not going to be going anywhere until the side effects are done.

My 2 cents if sheer pink. Do not do blue. Its cute and trendy now but later you will look back and think why. Go with pink. Elegant, beautiful, and fun like you. If its sheer it should also go well with your dress.
So, I woke up at 4:30 again today! I'm beginning to think that is an O thing, too! ;).
NO NO NO! I quit the O's if I have to be up that early! NO No nonononononononoo! :giggle4: That is one requirement I canNOT get behind. Nope no no no!!

Its still raining. Went to start the first of the running errands yesterday and yeah my car roof leaked (river) again. Fun. Just what I needed. It was soaked and the passenger seat was wet. Later I looked at it, after more downpour, and the seat was SOAKED more and the roof dripping not just wet. Yeah. Just what I needed. Tomorrow I need to be two places at once so we need to use both cars. Hope it dries out a bit so I dont have wet pants. UGH! And the power has gone out twice so far this morning. Its all of 7:30. No! I know life is busy and I need to slow down but this isn't how its suppose to slow down.

Have MLD PT today. Manual Lymphatic Drainage physical therapy. Its ......... stupid. There I said it. I dont feel it will do what insurance says it will do. But I am checking my boxes toward surgery coverage but its such a waste of my time and the PT time.
Oh well, coffee is calling and I must answer.
Have a wonderful day!

That's awful! Especially for those vendors who, I'm sure, are counting on good profits from the days at the fair. My son-in-law's family ran a bbq chicken booth at the NY State Fair for decades, and that income was really important to them. Working the fair was a rite of passage for the teenagers. My daughter even did it one year before they got married. She met Bill Clinton. (When she told me that, all I could think was "not alone, right?")
I know, that's what just broke my heart. Minnesota has the second largest fair in the country. The first 2 days set records for attendance, then the suffocating heat hit over the weekend, fewer people because of the heat, and then the first round of storms shut it down early, cancelled the Grandstand show & Monday morning added insult & more injury. Besides a late start to Monday, the midway didn't open at all that day & that's how those folks make a living. :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh: to Clinton, hope he wasn't giving a speech.
:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh: Oh my this. The image in my mind. NakedTwin Scrapping. Yep need more coffee!!
The second I wrote that, I thought , oh boy, someone is going to need eye sanitizer, I thought about changing it, but the stock I have in eye sanitizer . just keeps going up.
So, I woke up at 4:30 again today! I'm beginning to think that is an O thing, too! ;)
Me too. I got up and started on a pre release layout I started yesterday. When I finished, I thought, "Well, I better start getting supper ready, it was 11:15 a.m. :floorlaugh::rotfl::floorlaugh::rotfl::floorlaugh::rotfl:

Oh, Kay, I'm so sorry you get such a terrible reaction, I think bed sounds like a good place for you to be.

Went out on the trails this morning with the county guy to make a plan for repairing the two bridges washed downstream by storm Debby. I think we've got a strategy, and they're willing to pay for materials and use their equipment to carry the lumber down the trail (surprisingly that's always one of our biggest problems since the Trails Crew doesn't have a gator or such). Anyway, I'm satisfied we're making progress.

Crossing my fingers that the forecast thunderstorms miss us this evening, as we're planning to spend it at a winery with friends. I've got the brats and coleslaw ready to go.

@faerywings My vote is for the sheer pink. I know if I had dark blue it would get a chip in it just when it was too late to fix.

Good afternoon all,

I've just got a minute - been doing housework again and taking breaks on the computer. I need to get outside and put my new solar lights out so they'll hopefully come on tonight. I'm afraid I've waited too long, now. I got more to line the front of the gardens and a couple more for along my walk.

I moved my bed today - very carefully and slowly and cleaned under it. My bed is very tall and hard to move, but I got it done. I had three winter storage containers I wanted to put under there. At the rate I was going, it was going to be time to get them back out, but I wanted to make sure they all fit. They do, but I can't get the fourth one under there, so I'm giving it to Ava.

Chris @faerywings I vote for the sheer pink polish, too, but I know you'll wear what you and Caitlin want. :floorlaugh::floorlaugh: I don't remember who said it, but you probably won't be happy with how the dark blue looks in the photographs that you'll look at for years.

Kay @BrightEyes sorry you had a bad reaction. Those shots are so hard on me, too. Chuck had NO reaction and I was sick plus could barely lift my arm for days. I think the flu shot is going to do it for me from now on. I've never had a reaction to those, knock on wood. Get lots of rest and like Vicky @vickyday said drink lots of fluids. Hope you get some tapioca. That does sound good. Sending you gentle hugs.

I'm going to go now, but maybe I'll get back in here. I have to get outdoors and get my solar lights going.

Hugs to ALL.
XOXO

I did call DD#3 and she was so sweet to bring me some milk and tapioca pudding!! I ended up sleeping off and on in the recliner most of the day under my heavy throw!! My temp is 99*F so it is improving. Popped in to see that the Color Play kits are in the shop so I stayed up long enough to get the uploaded to the galleries. I am going to fix another milk shake then head on to bed. Hope that most of the side-effects will be gone by tomorrow.

Oh I'm SO happy that you got milk and tapioca, Kay. What a soothing thing tapioca is. Yes, the CP is live - I've been working on other things and didn't realize the Newsletter had been published. Yahoo - now I can add my live links too.

Sending lots of love and hugs to you. :heartpumpred: :hug1: :hug4:
