Argh! I had a whole long post and then lost the darn thing.
Let me see how much I can remember...

I started out saying that I woke up last night thinking that it was first Monday, then Sunday and it took me a while to realize that it was Thursday. One of those crazy nights with weird dreams and all.

Yesterday was a sunny and hot day at the lake and it felt good to soak up the sunshine. I was also ruminating on how I feel so sad for Gary. He is herxing from Bartonella and it affects brain function completely. He is having crazy moods swings from exhaustion to irritability to depression in a matter of minutes. It is easy to deal with the physical symptoms- joint pain and swelling, fatigue. You can work with that. But the brain issues are rough.

My BFF invited me to her house today but I have to clean.

Nothing else going on-- HAGD!!!

Rae- I haven't heard of that movie before, is it on Netflix? Makes me so happy to hear that B was screeching yay!!!! Those are the moments you are going to keep close in your heart.
I brushed W's teeth last night. She was hysterical. I am not sure how much brushing actually got done, but she loved having the toothbrush in her mouth. I tried to do J's teeth and she would tolerate for a minute and then backed off. Ray wouldn't let me open her mouth at all. As I was trying to do J's teeth, W came up and tried to bite the other end of the brush LOL
Hope that you go everything done that you needed to do, busy day for sure.

Jean- Your day sounds like it wasn't all that fun, but happy that you were able to come here and get some of it off your chest.
we are very fortunate that my neighbors have bought up so much of the property behind us and them. They will never cut down trees unnecessarily so we have a lot of privacy and nature. sorry that you lost a lot of yours.

Good morning, ladies. Had a busy day yesterday. Lots of wheeling and dealing for camera stuff. I sold a lens, maybe another lens today, have agreed on a price for a Fuji X100F and am going to pick it up on Friday after work. I'm excited to play with my new camera on Sat morning when I shoot the engagement session. I will work with my Nikon but will take a few b/w shots with the new camera. It is a fixed lens, no zoom, and has 8 film simulation filters which will be fun to play with. I am looking forward to shooting in b/w. This will be my walk-around camera and will probably be in my purse most of the time when I am out.

Chris - glad you had a good day yesterday. How frustrating for G to be going thru that and also for you to have to stand by and not be able to do anything to help. I hope things levels off and he feels better soon. Good for you for brushing teeth. I know I'm going to have to try to do Taz's too after his cleaning. Yes, that movie "Central Intelligence" is on netflix. It's such a fun silly movie.

Guess I was generally out of sorts yesterday but probably from gray day, heat and humidity. Today isn't as hot but still gray and muggy. DH cancelled his bird survey for tomorrow morning as his back still bothers him and weather is iffy. I have assembled the pages for the last four weeklies, but still have to do the writing. Hope to get them done before another week is over.

Chris, time spent yesterday soaking up sun sounds like just what you needed. Poor G to suffer so from both physical and mind symptoms. Worse that he knows it's happening and can't prevent it. Same for you as his support. You got much further with the dog tooth brushing than I would have imagined. I'm sure you could scrap an hilarious page about it.

Rae, how exciting to get that new camera. Hope we'll get to see some results from it soon.

Good morning girls,
I totally embarrassed myself yesterday. My neighbor comes very worried because one of hers youngest hen is fly by the fence and she was worried that dog can eat it. We spend about a 15 minutes in tries to catch the scared chicken, which was running all around my yard. Good that dog was on chain, but the bird always gone at his direction, and of course one of the cats join too, such a circus. Finally the chicken get tired and stopped, so it was bring back home safely. But, oh dear, I'm become so slow! I mean I'm never been runner or something, I usually skipped the physical lessons, but this is totally shame! I really have to work more onto my shape.

OK, my notes are combined for the both days, because I skipped one.

Chris, I'm sorry to hear that G is feels so bad!It's awful to feels helpless when beloved suffer, hug!
You knows me I also hoarder many things because of sentimental reasons, so I understand you completely. Did you find something to sell?! Good that the weather on a lake was nice, hope this makes you feels better for a while! I'm saw at youtube how people brush the teeth of dogs, but still feels it so unnatural. You force them to shows you teeth and to make 'fighting physiognomy', till you want they to stay calm, huh. I definitely want to see video, or LO, or whatever you make about it.

Rae, yay, you are really quick in selling and replacement of your camera! I'm sure that the pictures will be great, have fun!

Jean, good for you for working on these pages! Your new neighbors sounds as very confused people. I don't understand this modern trend the whole yard to be paved?! The meaning of having yard is to have your own tamed Nature. I can't get it why people lose space to paved something that have to belong to the grass. I mean if you don't want tree, just go to live in one of these awful multi level buildings at the cities. :roll:
