Annnnnd, we are back to March! Not even the "out like a lamb March" but 100% Lion. 36* and crazy winds. The last two nights, my neighbor's wind chimes were so loud I thought my alarm was going off.
I am just here to say hello- my mom's appt got pushed up earlier and I have to be at her house by 8 am. I honestly don't know how I used to get up at 5 and head into the shower without being caffeinated every day for work. I swear I was still asleep in there this morning.

Have a fab day. Wish me luck-- no, wish me *patience* today at the God Complex Dr appt

Oh good grief @faerywings, will you ever get good weather that will stay? We are counting down by items to do on my list now instead of days. But I think I have the most critical items and if Saturday comes and I just throw things in a bag, oh well! Or I stay up all night tomorrow.

Going back to March - will this mean I will be 55 again, or will I be 56? No matter what - send me gifts! LOL

@faerywings Scary accident yesterday! Looks like it's such a busy road that the truck crossed - a miracle it was empty then! Hope you have a great day, even though the early start & your mom's appointment.

Have my first 2 bananas in the freezer. Forgot to buy more bananas yesterday though. Both me and Urban love bananas, we usually have it at home, but we ate the last two at work yesterday.

@felis Nice to see you here again! I've made a couple of similar mice. It's a charity where you make "comfort mice", send them to hospitals, so that they can give them to children when they need comfort. A tip: in that pattern, you make the ears first, and then you crochet them in place then you get to the row where they should be. Save you from sewing.

Well, it's a busy day today. Have been doing some cleaning already, but want to make some decluttering as well. Plan is to go through all the CDs, pick out the ones I want to keep, and leave the rest on the shelf for Urban to go through. If I have time (and stamina) after that, I'm thinking the same about the DVDs/Bluerays.

Dinner plans: have some leftover wok sauce from Tuesday. Will fry up some vegetarian ground "beef" + veggies and add the sauce. Serve with rice. Chicken nuggets for my carnivorian son.

Good morning everyone! I feel like a new woman now that my hair is cut and the grey is gone! It was good to see my hairdresser again and catch up with her! She had to have surgery to remove an ovarian cyst and was telling me that afterwards she got rushed to the ER because the anti-inflamatory meds that they gave her, did something to her stomach and she had horrible acid reflux!! She had never had acid reflux in her life before. Anyway she is feeling better now and hopefully will be back to being able to eat what ever she wants to again. She is a tall and very, very slender young woman and has always been able to eat whatever she likes and never gain any weight. (I hate her!). Ha, Ha just kidding she is a sweetie! So that was my excitement for the day! I live such a boring life LOL. I will enjoy my last quiet day in the house as DH is on a day off tomorrow and we will be busy I am sure  Friday looks to be our only day without rain, so we will most likely be outside for the majority of the day. I hope to get a layout done today and do a bit more catching up here at the O. Month end is a busy time!

@faerywings - Sending you tons of patience today and sorry you had to be up and out the door so very early this morning! I am sure your Mom will appreciate having you there with her for her appointment today! Hope the Dr. has a good bedside manner! Sure would be nice to get some warmer weather for you and us, getting pretty sick of this back and forth from spring to winter again! More fresh snow on the mountain tops here. Patiently waiting for summer!! Feels like it is taking forever!!

@LSlycord - OMG is it that time already!! I bet you are so excited!!! Hope you get everything ticked off of your short list now and are all packed and ready to go! I am so happy for you! Jealous, but Happy!!

@tanteva - How nice that you found the shortbread and cookies that you like so much! Enjoy your tea and biscuits today and all of your decluttering!

@felis - Ohhh I just love those little mice!! I think that your avoiding of the bad news in world is a good thing, we all need to step away from it every once in a while! Looks like you are enjoying your spring and keeping busy with your crochet projects! Sorry your spring is cold too, seems to be that way for all us. I hope that your work is going well and that you will be able to get back to scrapping in July! We are just happy that you pop in once in awhile and say Hello!! (((hugs)))!

@bcgal00 - I saw the bird house on your Facebook page! How fun to have the bird come so quickly to claim his/her new home! I hope that there are no more sighting of the cougar in your area! Good idea to keep them on leash, many dogs have been attacked on the island also, but so many do not keep their dogs on a leash even when they are supposed to :(. Hope you get the BBQ set up so you can enjoy some great cooking from your hubby! I love it when my DH does the cooking!!

@BrightEyes - Yes the cost of everything has doubled it seems! Hope that you don't have to go too long without a haircut! It's always nice to go to the hairdresser and I think that you are worth the extra cost, don't you?? How nice to find a good book on your visit to the Senior Centre and 6 DVD's too! That should keep you busy for a day or two LOL.

@Cherylndesigns - Sorry to hear that you have such motion sickness! My MIL always suffered from it too and it prevented them from travelling any great distance. Too bad Braden did not get to do his solo flight, but I bet he loved that you all came out to watch him!

Ok its time to get a few things done around the house this morning and then will spend some time catching up here at the O! Have a lovely Thursday everyone!

Good morning ladies. I am researching face oil this morning. I don't wear makeup but like to take care of my skin and find it is a bit dry so want to add a nighttime oil. I will be heading to sephora tomorrow after the vet appt to pick something up. Today I will unpack (seems like forever lol), will get some more scrapping done (feeling good about getting back into it) and will go to the dog park later.

Busy but pleasurable day ahead.

@faerywings Hope your mom's appt goes well.

@taxed4ever Enjoy your quiet day.

Time for more coffee and get back to researching face oil. Have a great day.

Hahaha "Time Warp"! Does that bring back memories. We used to go to a small theater in Lansing, MI and everybody took "props". Great memories.

Chris @faerywings geez - is it EVER going to be spring??? It's raining here (again) today but pretty warm. Supposed to stop at 3 PM. UGH - had to turn my SAD light on again.

Trudy @taxed4ever I'll bet you DO feel like a new woman! That's the story you heard while you were becoming a new woman?? LOL I can't even imagine NEVER having acid reflux! I have it so often but I take meds now which help. I've also been taking Ginger Root Powder for about 6 months and it has really helped.

Chric @faerywings I sincerely hope your mom's dr visit goes well. Sending lots of hugs and vibes - remember - PATIENCE.

Gotta run- DH and I have been sitting over coffee for a couple of hours planning what we need at the nursery - we're going to try to go tomorrow. It's supposed to be beautiful.

Kay @BrightEyes I took a page from your playbook - went out to the side of the house, was walking along (in my flip flops) stepped on a big dirt clump and down I went. Fortunately, I went down on my left side - didn't hurt my right shoulder at all. It just made me very angry!! I'm a little "stiff" today but not worse for the wear. I have to be SO careful - I hate that!!! I WILL not wear my flip flops in the yard anymore you can take that to the bank.

Lots to do - need to get my scrap on. LOL

Hugs to all.

Oh, NO! ! ! ! So sorry about your fall, Cheryl! I swear that I won't walk in the yard in sandals/flip-flops either. Learned my lesson the hard way, too. So glad that you didn't fall on your right side and reinjure you shoulder. Beginning to think that it will have to tennis shoes from now on. Need to look for some stretchy shoe laces for mine as bending over to tie the shoes can be a challenge at times. Geeze, getting older sure has its challenges.

Just got a call from DD#1 and we had a nice long visit on the phone. Didn't realize that I had not let the family (except for Chari and Jim) know about the fall I took. Still having some aching in the back and the right ankle is still black/blue and aches some when I am up on it for very long. Decided that today will be a PJ day. I hope to get a few LOs made and stay off my feet as much as possible.

Getting old SUCKS!!! Oh well, at least we're still moving, right??? I SWEAR I will wear my walking shoes out in the yard from now on!!! They're my "tennis shoes" and they have Velcro straps. Hahaha (I haven't told anyone in the family I fell - they'd all lose their minds!) They're all so protective of me since I broke my shoulder. They all have big ole high trucks and they always help me in and out. What they don't know won't hurt them. Glad you had a nice visit on the phone.

It does indeed!!! I told Brian at dinner tonight to be sure to remind me to get up and walk around on the plane so that I don't get blood clots. I'll be wearing my funny looking compression socks. SMH

Glad that there were no serious side effects. And tennis shoes aren't all bad.

I sure hope that the achiness clears up soon. Sometimes I can't help but think back to the stilettos that I used to wear. I really could wear them high. Made me look taller (and I'm 5'8" even now) and made my legs look shapely. And hurt my feet but it was a price we paid. LOL No more. Hope that PJ day was good!

I really wish that I had gotten a haircut worked in before the trip...that always makes me feel better. But I don't see that happening now. I needed to have it on a to do list. Hope that you and DH get lots done tomorrow...or spend the day on the porch with wine!

Love banana bread. It is something that I make frequently because both kids like it. I've never added more bananas @faerywings. I may need to try that!
