Well, SHIT..... (So Happy Its Thursday!)

what a wasted day i had yesterday. I got nothing accomplished except food shopping and laundry. Gary offered to steam clean then got involved in something else and never did it. Looks like I will be doing that this morning.

I am feeling a bit cranky this morning, do you think I need more coffee?? I do, I do!! I DO Need more coffee!

Clara, do you deliver?????

Off for another cup, can I get any :tea: for you?

MOrning Chris- storm woke me at 3 went back to sleep and now- my day is going - laundry started, cameras charging, lists going- have to get my hair cut today and home bless- I have ignored that for several weeks and the lawn needs mowing and those 20 (not2) strawberry plants need planting along with the hyacinths the MMG bought- just in case they come back next year! So my day is jam packed!!
 
aaaah! I sure as heck don't know what i would do without coffee.

Laurie- I would love a house on the beach- An inlet down the shore would be perfect.

Maureen- for me, the biggest struggle is to get out of the house, once I am wherever I need to be I am usually ok too.

Phyllis- ugh, floaters are so distracting. On cloudy but bright days, it hurts to drive. Or paint white walls.

Donna- great ideas, thanks! I know I still have plenty of card stock left over from my paper scrap days.

looks like several of us were up too doggoned EARLY! 5 a.m. for me. went to bed at midnight. i want more SLEEEEEEP! :frusty:

Chris, make hubby do the steaming TONIGHT! hope you have a happier day today. you ALWAYS seem to get a ton done to me! you're an amazement.

Laurie, you always seem so full of energy! i think planting is a long way off for us, still, where i live. looks like we're in the 30s again in a day or two. i was going to try to grow potatoes in a garbage can (saw it in a magazine last year) but i'm afraid to get anything started outside with this unpredictable weather.

gonna drive for about an hour and a half in a few hours to a video transfer business i've used in the past. i have some video in a bizarre format (VCD. i think it might be from a first generation Flip video cam i have. i can't even remember HOW i got the stuff off the cam and onto a CD...) that i want changed to just normal DVDs. hopefully they can make the change and get me some video that's usable. it'll probaby cost a fortune.

well. have a good Thursday. accomplish as much as you want to!

Phylis - biggest danger is frost and the 10 day says- tomorrow is the worst- so I will cover the tomatoes with sheets and ask the house sitter to remove them later in the day- trying to become a good gardener again- I used to be an avid veggie gardener/canner- but not since I moved- I even moved my compost bin with me!
 
well ... today is the first day of you-know-what-week-of-the-month. Can I just crawl back under the rock?

Morning ladies... grey dull day today, but my last day of work this week as my hours have been cut back. I am not complaining, this is more the amount of hours I have been wanting to work!!

Chris - Darn men, they do get distracted easily don't they (or at least that is their excuse!!) Sorry you have to do the steam cleaning AGAIN!!! Love your saying for Thursday!! I will have to remember that! I'll have a cup of coffee please! I could use one more before starting my work day!

Laurie - I think that you might not have enough hours in this day to get all things accomplished! Good luck with your long list of things to do!! It will be so nice to be on your vacation, wish I could come along with you!!

Phylis - I know that there is some kind of program that you can download to change the format of your old movies, but not sure what it is called. Besides then you would have to figure out how to use it and .... oh its just easier to take it someone else!!! LOL. Have a safe drive!!

Eva - don't miss those days!! Sending you a big box of virtual chocolates!! :hug:

Well it's just barely morning here. A downpour of a rainy day but a good rain, one that comes straight down so I can keep the windows open and get some mild fresh air. I don't have many plans today. Dick is off to WVA to visit our friend with ALS but will be home for dinner tonight. I'm having lunch with a woman I'm mentoring and that is about as 'obliged' I am today. Not sure if Dick is leaving for his retreat tonight or tomorrow but I then have three days to myself.

What have I done so far today? listened to podcasts, scrapped and read blogs. A damn good morning!
