What the heck and where is the month going to? I can't believe it is already the 20th. It still doesn't feel completely like Spring. Aside from those few warm days, it is back to being chilly and dreary. I guess that is ok since I am trying to rest and all that good stuff. No major muscle spasms yesterday but lots of heart palpitations and a couple of good ones this morning. WTH is *wrong* with me?
I called the Dr yesterday to see if they had any results back and they didn't. Maybe today, I will hear from them.

I am off to the eye Dr today for the recheck on my contacts. I don't think I had any Drs appts in March and by the time April is over, I will have had 6 (not counting the one I took Caitlyn to nor the botched one with the other eye Dr). Pfft.

I made dog treats with some of the leftover sweet potatoes from Sunday. I know that Luther has allergies, Taz too? These were so easy and I am going to make a second batch today. 1/2 cup cooked sweet potato, 2 cups oats, coconut oil and water, all blended in the food processor.

These will also be a good treat for Cait's rats. I kept out some of the cooked sweet potato for them and watched them eat it. OMG-- they grab chunks of the potato and hold in their fists. They don't like the strings (who knew they had strings?) and would pull them out. Clover had a ball of them at her feet when she was done. They make me smile so much.

That is about it, I better get in the shower before Scott needs to.

good morning - It is dreary! Yesterday was really chilly as there was a lot of wind! But Luther and I had two good walks. Last night was a chicken dish with a side of couscous and brussle sprouts. Well it was delish! Even my DH liked the couscous with the sprouts. Yea! These dinners are really filling so that is good so I don't want snacks later in the evening. I can't believe how much better we are eating and how much relief I feel because I don't have to shop or decide what is for dinner tonight. My DH is enjoying it too as is doing the clean up of the dishes. What a pair we have become now that it is just the two of us. Watched more hockey. Glad the Caps won, Ducks are the first team to advance to the second round. More games tonight of course.

Chris glad you are resting and glad no more muscles spasms. I found at our pet store a treat that is sweet potato and bison mix. It is Luther's favorite. Luther in the evenings will bring me presents so I give him the treat. Those rats sound so cute.

Trudy sounds like your DIL has everything well planned to make your week with the grandkids as easy as possible. I also bet the grandkids will at least in the beginning be on their best behavior. Hope the weather is good.

Rae you are really a busy bee this week!

Cindy hope you figure out the computer problem. All electronics are awesome until they are not.

Sharon I hope your contractors are done soon!

Have a great day!

I think I am destined to be driven insane by my computer forever. My Internet problems were not completely solved by stopping the Dropbox sync. Also, yesterday was my first attempt to create a layout with Photoshop CC. Plenty of frustration there but I think I have everything resolved now so that I can create in peace.

Chris, I hope that they find the cause of your latest issues soon. Take care of yourself. The rats sound cute but I can't imagine having rats as pets. Although, my cat the hunter might think it was really awesome for a couple of days as he stalked his prey.

Nancy, I am sorry it is cold. It's past time for cold weather in my opinion.

Rae, I am sorry you are having PS and LR problems. Don't these programs realize how much we need them?

Trudy, you sound busy still. But I know you are gonna miss those grandkids when the babysitting is done.

Sharon, I hope those contractors are done soon and out of the way.

Morning ladies... the grands are all ready for school, teeth brushed, backpacks all ready to go and so now they have 15 mins before we leave for school. Of course they wanted the iPads to keep them occupied. So because they have been so great about doing everything that they are told I let them have their screen time. LOL Everything has been going really great with them, they are certainly growing up and so good at doing their chores etc. Storm and I will go for a nice walk this morning, the sun is shining and hopefully it stays out for the majority of the day! Then Isaac takes him out for another walk after school and Sadie goes to get the mail. I am hoping that they will be able to get out to ride their bikes or play with their friends and get some more fresh air today! Isaac had swimming lessons after school yesterday and he has become a very strong swimmer, he has a great backstroke!!

Chris - Sure hope that you get to find out what the heck is going on with all of your crazy things happening to your body right now! That is a lot of Dr. Appts! Your rats do sound cute, but like Cindy I can't imagine having them for pets. My brother had white rats when he was young, but the cats got into his room one day and ....well you know. The dog treats sound very healthy, good for you for being such a good pet owner!!

Ok I will come back here after dropping the kids off to school. Catch up with the rest of you soon!

Good morning, ladies. Dropped Taz off at doggie daycare and came home to find 3 urgents already in my inbox. I'm looking forward to a bit slower pace next week which is good b/c I need to work on taxes. I got my challenges ready in the staging area for May and then realized that one of the scheduled CTers is not part of the team now so I got that challenge done too. Whew. On top of having a super busy workday. I did stop at 9:00 and sat down to watch the 2 hr Survivor show and Big Brother. So it was a nice mindless, entertaining way to wind down after my busy day. Slept like a log too.

We were looking at android TV boxes online last night so this wkend am hoping to get one. We had one a few yrs ago but it never worked well and they are much better now. There are a few local guys selling them so we have to research a bit before deciding on which one to get. Haven't watched yet but pvr'd the new season premiere of Fargo. Can't wait to watch it. Love that quirky show!

Chris - your rat stories are always fun to hear. We have a small one that squeezes into our garage under the pull-down slider and spends the winter in there. I hear him shuffling around, pushing stuff, as he gets settled up against the wall behind the tools and boxes out there. The wall is against my office wall so I hear a little noise every now and again. I don't mind. He's not hurting anything and Taz loves to run around the garage trying to get him to come play LOL. If he was a big rat I would be totally grossed out but this little bitty guy is kind of cute.

Nancy - sure sounds like your retirement life is wonderful.

Cindy - hope you catch on to PS CC quick. I'm the opposite of you, I have always used PS so am comfortable with that but PSE drives me nuts. I got it for my GD to learn scrapping on but I need to learn it too so I can help her. It's so strange to do something differently than what I do in PS LOL.

Trudy - sounds like a good time with the kids/dog. Enjoy it.

I'm getting back to work. I am going to pop over to the mall at lunch time as there's a sale and I want a new pair of casual shoes for rainy weather. I had a great pair of walking shoes that are starting to fall apart so need to replace them.

Have a great day, everyone.

Hey ladies... back from my little hike with Storm, I took a few pics with my phone so hope to upload next week when I am back home and have a bit more time. Tomorrow DH arrives in the afternoon to spend the weekend with us. Back home Sunday nite. I still haven't hit the shower yet so I better get that done right away and then I hope to scrap a bit.

Nancy - sounds like you and your MG are loving the empty nest life! Those meals sound so wonderful for the two of you and nice that you are eating healthier and feeling the benefits of good nutrition! I have no scale here so not sure if I have lost any more weight, but I feel like my clothes are fitting much more lose so I will have to see when I get back home. Hubby was steaming mad at the officiating for the Bruins games, seems like now they have lost the will to even try anymore  Oh well there is always next year! Too bad you have to stay up all night to watch the games! One advantage for living out here on the West Coast I guess :becky: Enjoy the hockey tonight!

Cindy - I hope that you get all of the bugs fixed with your tech issues, nothing more maddening than when it all goes crazy on you! I am trying out the new Photoshop CC and yes it is a bit different and takes some getting used to. Only using a trial version while I am here at DIL's and will be going back to my CS6 when I get home again.

Rae - Oh my those Dr's are certainly keeping you busy! Good on you for getting that extra challenge done also! WTG!! Hopefully you can find someone to take it on next time! Good luck with your shoe shopping today! I need to get a new pair of sketchers, I have some birthday money left so I think that will be a good thing to purchase with it! I agree with you on the PSE it drives me crazy too and I will never go back to it! I was thinking of you today on my walk with Storm, I bet Taz would love Storm, she is such a sweet dog! Ok I am out of here and hitting the shower, then better try to scrap for a bit and then get supper planned for the kiddos and myself. Have a great afternoon everyone!!
