Daily Ooo's: Thursday, April 13

it is sunny ATM but boy is it cold. I had gotten spoiled the last couple of days. Actually, yesterday morning was really cold and it ended up raining. But when I got home from cleaning, it had warmed up a bit. It should be around 60* and sunny and I need to go take some pictures of my flowers that are trying desperately to bloom.
Some of them are so sad, you can see where they had come up before the snow hit and how scraggly and yellow the tops of the stems are.
Maybe a good dose of sun will help them along.

Nothing exciting happened here at all yesterday. But today I am off to get my eye exam done. Which reminds me that I have to hit the bank on my way home. My mom gave me a check to get my hair done so I need to get it cashed for tomorrow.

Nothing else really happening, but I guess that I am plugging along in decent shape. I didn't want to jinx myself too much, but this turned out to not be a bad Tindamax week at all.

Hoping that everyone sees some sun today!

Nancy- did it rain by you too? I don't think we got anywhere near 70* even though we were supposed to warm up. Any day that I don't have to be completely bundled is a good one.
Poor Luther getting a bit pooped out on his walk. I think that the swing in temps takes a lot out of people and I guess animals too. Gary has terrible reactions to the heat and Tuesday he was in really bad shape from it. Isn't it funny how we are polar opposites in that?
I hope that the gradual warming up will be better for Luther.

Trudy- how was the hike? Hope that it didn't rain too much. Give Clara a big eye-poppy hug from me!!! I cannot wait to hear about your meet up!


Rae- how nice to have a nice long weekend! Too funny how Darrell being so excited for his chair. I don't blame him!
I hope that the chews help poor Taz and his bum. Did he do ok at the vet? I know I am going to have to bring both dogs in for shots/exams in May. Good thing I love them b/c that is $$$$$ as you know. upkiss:

good morning - whew I am tired. Up until midnight watching hockey and of course the two late hockey games went into overtime and I just could not stay up. How ever both of the teams I am cheering for the Blues and the Sharks both won so that was great. There were five games last night and now three tonight. Again to today will be lazy but have to get some laundry done. The Blue Apron dinner was so good. My DH is amazed because they are such departures from what I would usually fix. He is enjoying it for sure. My son has to go into to NYC for some training and needed to move his car and wanted it home so he asked my DH to come and get him drive the car home and then take him back. I laughed. But it turns out that one of my DH's train stops is journal square which is in Jersey City so my DH got off there and my son picked him up and he only had to drop off my son and then drive on home. Now lets see how my son gets home. There is an express bus to our town but the question will be will he walk home or call for a ride.

Chris yes we had a rain shower but it barely wet anything. But it is much chillier today and there is wind which make it colder. But the sun is mostly out. Luther is full of energy today as the temperature is cooler. Good luck at the eye doctor!

Trudy hope the hike did not have too much rain! Being outside it just the best!

Rae so sorry for Taz and his bum problem. Hope the new treats help! Have a great 4 days off. My son is so excited as he is off Friday.

Morning ladies... I am just in here quickly to say hi and then have to hit the road and drive to Victoria. Clara and Addie arrive around 10 am then they will have to go through customs and get to their hotel room. I will meet them in the hotel and then we hope to go see Craigdarroch Castle. Hopefully a nice lunch together also. I won't be able to stay too late as the traffic will be horrific on the drive home with friday being a holiday etc. I am looking forward to our day together! Then look forward to a day spent with Rae sometime in May! How great to have such wonderful O friends!! I will take lots of photos! Oh and our hike yesterday was good, the rain was just a steady drizzle and then about halfway through the skies brightened a bit and it stopped raining. It was quite protected where we hiked so we really did not get that wet. A beautiful hike that DH and I have done a few times and we love it! River was very high, so nice to see! Anyway I better get a move on and get dressed and ready to go! Have a great day everyone! :wave:

Good morning, ladies. Busy morning here as I was finishing up some reports and getting my invoicing done for this pay period. I'll probably work a bit late tonight and then may work tomorrow for a few hours but a light schedule for the next four days, work-wise. I need to get housework done, grocery shop, meal prep and work on taxes. I don't want to spend too much time online this wkend b/c as you all know, that creates a time warp where hours go by and you get nothing else done LOL.

Chris - yes, vet stuff is so expensive, isn't it? Guess what???? I got a text message last night from Beckham's dad and a short video. They just couldn't put Beckham to sleep so he had a few setbacks, had 3 surgeries (one was a leg amputation) and has 5 more chemo sessions coming up. He said it was touch and go for a bit but he pulled thru, is doing really good and is happily learning to live life on 3 legs. He gets physio throughout the week and lots of strength training at home. I was so happy I sat here crying my eyes out. I'll get to see him soon. He's not able to get outdoors much yet as he's too unstable but everyday he is getting stronger and managing better. I can't wait to see him.

Nancy - what a busy hockey day for you yesterday. Sounds like you had a great time watching it all.

Trudy - have fun with Clara. Can't wait to see pics. We are going to take a billion pics on our visit soon The castle sounds interesting. Never heard of it. I'll have to google that.

Hi all, all I am is doing is keeping track of contractor working in my house and my pool! Yikes... full time job with 2 dogs who want to go all over. This weekend we have 2 crawfish boils Friday and Saturday and then Easter Sunday dinner. wow.... big weekend.
