Good morning and a happy weekend to all of you!
Even though I am freezing ATM, I was outside a few times already with the dogs and it is wonderful to see blue sky and sunshine.

My mood all day was kind of blah but I am feeling a bit more settled today. My check-up was fine. They took tons of blood but she asked if she should even bother with the ANA/Lyme panels. Since we were doing so much else, and it wasn't going to tell me anything different than when I see my LLMD I figured no need to drain me more than necessary. LOL
They sent me for an X-ray of my ankle too. I had seen what Nancy had written about it so I googled "cyst on ankle" and it really seems like that is what it is- ganglion cyst. Next up is to find out what they say definitively it is and what to do about it.

I think that I am down to one of three light therapy lamps. I have to measure space on my desk and the LUX values and all of that and hopefully, I can order one today. if all goes as planned, I think I will be able to pay for it entirely with GC's.

The other thing that I need to do today is going to the Farmer's Mkt in the town next to me. I have $16 in Gift Certificates to spend there and they expire today. I am going to wake Cait up and see if she wants to come with me. She is concerned about Muffin who is declining rapidly since Clove died. I am not sure if she is going to want to leave her or if walking around the market will be better for her. She was really sad last night and I have no way to cheer her up. :(

I am going to post this, talk to Caitlyn and then be off and running. I will try to come back for personals in a bit. xoxo!!!

Morning everyone! Happy Saturday to you all! Well yesterdays plan of going out for dinner did not happen. Instead we got invited to the In-Laws for dinner and fire afterwards. SIL Linda had been visiting with MIL & FIL for the past few days, so she joined us also. Linda has been very busy helping out around the yard and putting away things for the winter. She was pretty tired LOL. I told her that she should have called me and I could have helped her out! She did one of these... and we laughed!! Anyway the evening was very nice, except when MIL got into a heated discussion about the Kavanaugh crazyness, she is of the mind set that it must be the women's fault and why would they want to ruin a man's career. WTF!!!!!! I had to really hold back, but gave her a piece of my mind anyway. It kind of ruined the visit for a bit, but she is who she is and she isn't going to change now, so I tried to forget about. Sitting around the fire after was more pleasent and we enjoyed the rest of the night. Today is the usual getting errands done and grocery shopping, then we hope to spend time in the backyard and get the daffodil and other bulbs planted before the rain starts. I have a feeling once it starts, it will not stop until June LOL.

Chris - I hope that Cait goes to the farm market with you today! It would do her good! Sad that Muffin is declining in health, but I suppose it was to be expected. Hug Cait for me! Glad that your visit to the Dr. went well and I don't blame you for not wanting to be drained of your blood :becky: Hope you can manage to pay for your lamp with your GC's it will be good to have one again I bet!

Rae - How cool that your hairdresser took you outside for photos of your new cut! I hope you are enjoying your walk around Granville Island, it sounds fun and I wish I could join you!! It would be so much better than grocery shopping!!

Jean - Well no wonder we haven't heard from you recently! Isn't it the best feeling to sleep in your own bed again especially after a two day drive! Hope it doens't take you too long to settle back into your rountine again. Enjoy your day!

I suppose I should get myself something to eat and get going with the day! Have a lovely Saturday everyone!

good morning - way late but we were busy we took Luther for a walk and got him goodies. It was a walk to a different park with lots of ups and downs and a lake with turtles basking in the sun on branches in the lake and a stream that goes through the park. It was really a nice break seeing the sun and being outdoors and warm. I do love the sun! Not much on my agenda! Thanks again for the nice compliments on the pages.

Chris isn't it so nice to see the sun again. And it should be nicer as the week progress. Saw that maybe 80 degrees by the middle of the week. Have fun at the market. I nope that Cait feels better. I am sorry that muffin is doing so poorly. I bet Muffin does miss Clover.

Trudy good for you to stand up to your mother even though I am sure it was hard. It is that thinking that we have to get rid of for sure. Hope you have fun planting your bulbs.

Rae I love that your hairdresser took you outside for photos that is awesome! I love the new cut. How fun that you and I and Trudy all got new hair styles!

Jean welcome back. I love sleeping in my bed. Hope you had a nice visit.

Have a great day all!

We were off early this morning to be volunteers at another session of the DNA class a friend has given. This one the students seemed a little better prepared and that was nice. Such a lot to cover and things keep changing in how it is presented at Ancestry. When we got home a doe with two pretty good sized fawns showed up checking the new sod in the yard behind us. It is a pretty, sunny day.

Chris, so sorry Muffin is failing. Still, hope Cait went with you to the Farmer's Market. How nice to have GCs for the new lamp. Hope you got it ordered.

Trudy, oh no, not rain until June! Say it isn't so. Hope you had sunshine to get the bulbs in. Yuck to that idea from MIL about women always being the fall guy and how good it would be to ruin the careers of all the monsters among us. Uh, oh :tape:

Nancy, I think I've missed some of your Alaska LOs, but have seen a few and they look so good. And now Sweden is almost here! Bet that's going to be so wonderful.

Rae, hope you're having a peaceful and beautiful time out with your camera!

Happy sunny Sunday! (I wish I had a sundae LOL)
I had another blur of a day yesterday. My brain hasn't been functioning all that well and I didn't get off to a good start. I should know better than to try and do more than one thing at a time but alas *wink*
I was trying to fill out my ballot and was listening to Cait at the same time and the first darn mark was for the wrong person. Now I have to call the board of elections tomorrow and see if I can request a new ballot. Worst case scenario, I *think* I can vote in person on a provisional ballot, but I would really rather not have to worry about it not getting counted properly or having something happen where I can't get out to vote.
Soon after, Caitlyn was ready to put her ballot in the mail and realized that she sealed the envelope without the ballot. We had to steam it open and reseal it so no one thought it was tampered with. The ballot is fine, just the outmost envelope, but still- not a good day for the Campbells voting abilities.
We wnt to the Market and got 2 cookies, 3 baby gourds and a baguette of bread. Then we went to the dollar store looking for Halloween decorations and they were almost sold and nothing good was left. We went to another dollar store and Marshalls and found a couple of small things.

After we got home, I didn't do much of anything. I did order my lamp and should get it by tomorrow.

Today we are decorating which will be fun.

Hope that everyone has a relaxing and happy day.

From Friday:

Nancy- what a great Devils game! Must be exciting to see them play well against another top team.
ITA- even if Dr Ford is making up the accusations- which I do not believe for a second, why *would* she at the very least???-- he was so angry and confrontational, he doesn't seem to have the temperament needed to be on the Supreme Court.
What did your DH do for the cyst on his knee?

Trudy- the sun was nice yesterday here but not summer-like- hope that it was by you and they were able to soak it all up and that it stuck around all weekend. I don't know how you Canadians put up with us Americans at this point. Please know that most of us dislike him. :p

So happy that everyone is taking good care of themselves with haircuts and dinners out and chats with friends and family-- so important to do that xoxo

Rae- great news that DH is feeling better and is actually resting. Will he need to be on a PT or restricted schedule on Monday? That is one of the nice things about straight hair-- you can get cute short styles and not have to have it turn into a poof ball on your head. :scared:
Saw the pic on FB and you look amazing!
I hope that whatever and however you honor/celbrated B's birthday was a positive time for her and for Jen.

Jean- welcome back!!

Saturday:

Trudy- So sorry that you didn't get to go to dinner but had a nice visit/fire with the ILs. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! How did you manage to not explode at your MIL? The woman's fault. Grrrr.
Glad that you didn't let it get the best of you. This Administration is literally pulling families apart. My MIL has friends and family that she no longer talks to anymore and it is becoming more common.
I was a good shopper yesterday. I had $100 in Amazon cards and the lamp was $99 and change. And I had $16 in Market Bucks (GCs) and spent $16.50-- so my net money output was about 20 cents LOL

Nancy-really? It is going to be that nice this week? I hope so.
How nice to see so much wildlife on your walk.

Jean- your class must have been very interesting. I think that Ancestry must have done a lot of updates in their data because the kids and I got our new profiles too. And surprise surprise, (hehe!) we are now more concentrated into Southern Italy. I jumped to 88% southern Italian and Scott is also now a majority of southern Italian where he was more muddled with Middle Eastern/Caucuses before. So fascinating.

with ya with the :tape:

good morning! It is again a lovely bright sunny day. Joey got Luther out and I stayed and vacuumed so Luther would not spend the whole time barking. It worked out until I asked Charles to do his part which of course interfered with his TV. He wants to know why I am bothering. LOL I often wonder that myself. I asked to him to plug in the vacuum under this desk instead of on the mantel. There is so much stuff on the mantel that the constant move of the cord some knock off stuff and it would be his stuff. Well he said I was always doing and that and apparently that was said with the wrong attitude so he refused to do it. LOL so by then my DH as home so I asked him and he too would not plug it in there either. So I told both of them them then if stuff falls I will hurt you both. My boys sometimes I think it has to be their way because how could I possibly be correct. So I am taking a break between chores to write. Next upstairs to pack and sort and clean. Does it sound like I need a vacation LOL. Good thing I love them. Have to pay a bill but I will probably mail it during half time of one of the football games. My hockey team made it to Switzerland and are practicing today. Yesterday they all went to a game to watch the team they will play on Monday. It is Monday afternoon so that will be fun watch.

Chris sorry the days are befuddled. Enjoy the sun. Glad you got to the market. I cant believe all the good Halloween decorations are all sold out. It is not even Oct yet.

Trudy hope you got your errands done and before the rain. I know you get a lot of rain but from now until June is too much.

Jean you are so cool to know all this DNA stuff from Ancestry. I saw a commercial for their DNA results and all the genes they have connect to real life. It is pretty amazing how far this has all come!

Rae waving!

Have a great day!
