Hey there and good morning/weekend to everyone.
My goodness, when I reread my posts from the day before, I don't know how any of you understand me. Half of the time I have run-on sentences or incomplete sentences. In the other half, I seem to be on a tangent. Toss in my typos, I don't know how you do it. Is there a Faery Translator App that you use?

It's very chilly this morning, I guess Fall is here. Blech, that doesn't make me happy but it is what it is. As if I have a choice in the matter ;)
I was pleasantly surprised, my friend remembered I was going to be cleaning but she did forget to tell her contractor that I was going to be there. I surprised him when I pulled into the driveway. I took advantage of the sunshine and did some deadheading in the front garden area. Two days of rain and the monarda has powdery mildew already. No point in getting the baking soda spray out, they are going to get cut down in the next week or so anyway. The marigolds by the tomato plants got ginormous, over two feet tall- so I moved them next to the driveway. My hope is that the tomatoes will get a little more sunshine and ripen.
We'll see. :)

I am off to the FP- **please** let there be coffee. Last time, they said that they haven't been getting any coffee donated, no surprise considering how expensive it is. I am going to catch up on laundry and start packing. I always overpack whenever I go away, even if I am just in PA for the weekend. The shore is always tough because you need beach clothes, going out for walk clothes, going out to dinner clothes. What am I in the mood to wear clothes? Am I going to be cold (hot) clothes? o_Oo_O

What fun plans do you have today? Wishing all of you a very happy day!

@LSlycord You must have had such an incredible day with Syd. What a smart lady she is, Space Farming sounds like a mindblowing topic. All I know about it comes from Sci-Fi TV like The 100 or The Expanse *blushes* I love that you had a mother-DD mind meld. You needed that and her hugs, didn't you? (always, you always need that. Me too!)
How neat that you got to see the FL Highwayman mural, That was such a fun challenge that Cindy hosted and I had never heard of them before. I am looking forward to seeing the LOs of your Gainesville pics.

@Betty Jo How did you feel the rest of the day, good enough to clean? You didn't overdo it? Hope that I don't have to come down there and bonk you on the head like Rafiki! That made me LOL!
Yeah, my parents are happy that they get to see me but not as much as they do when they see my kids. They miss them, even though they still get to see them about once a month. It's never enough for them.

@taxed4ever Is your Gary going to take a look at the place that SIL wants the ILs to look at again this weekend? I hope that the more the ILs look at houses closer to you, the more accepting/open-minded they will be about it. I hope that procrastinating doesn't cause them to lose every opportunity.
That is great news about the boys loving school! yay! Is Heather going to have enough free time to get back into the travel agent work again?

@BrightEyes thinking of you and sending hugs after the kids head out this weekend. When the kids were little and we would leave the lakehouse after a weekend together, my parents always said it felt so much quieter than it did before we got there. I bet your house feels the same right now. I hope that you are able to relive this when you get scrapping! Are any Red Hat lunches coming up soon?

@bcgal00 It must have felt fantastic getting out of the house! I had a feeling you would know about Spoons. :D Hopefully, very soon you will always have lots of spoons left over at the end of the day.
How did Jen's talk with the kennel owner go? I hope that it works out perfectly for her, it seems like the perfect opportunity for Jen.
Brain fog was difficult to cope with when I had bad Lyme brain. Words would be out of reach (YKWIM?) and my brain felt like cement. It was frustrating, I felt so stupid but I couldn't figure out why??? I think that is one of the reasons I was/am so scared of getting Covid, the cognitive effects are so close to Lyme and I do *not* want to experience that again.

@vickyday Yes, it vacation is getting closer and the weather seems like it is improving a bit-- I am going to bring a deck of cards and a small puzzle. It's going to be fine!
*fingers crossed your head is ache-free*

@Cherylndesigns good to hear you aren't as tired as you were
*gulps* Reading that you took a walk made my stomach flip a bit. Do you have a walking stick? Be very careful with the rocks!
Hehehe, Gary would always fall asleep watching Poldark too. I liked it as a change of pace from our usual crime drama fare but def. too slow moving for him *winks*
The moon photo was amazing!! My niece takes photos of the planets with her telescope hooked to her iPhone somehow and I have no idea how she does it but they are fantastic.

@pachimac congrats on the diamond!

@Amandajk good luck on the decluttering, I hope it doesn't get overwhelming

@tanteva is tomorrow the final day for voting? Hope you have some time off of work so you can relax!

Good morning all! Feeling quite proud of myself. I have already been out in the yard, cleaning out bunches of pots. My pots just weren't so good this year. Don't know if I was just too distracted to give them the proper care that they need or if the weather was just so much worse than the last couple of years. Either way, they needed to go. Brian helped a bunch...anything that was big and heavy, I just told him what I wanted done and he did it!

I got a call yesterday from the recruiter at the company I interviewed with. They wanted to start the background checks and he said that I will have an offer by mid-next week. I really do hope it works out. Thursday was a great day but most days I've done absolutely nothing this week. Just don't seem to have much motivation without Syd here. I need the structure of work.

@faerywings I hope that you get some coffee! Good grief...one cannot live without coffee! I know that you and your mom are going to have the best time at the shore! I did have a great time with Syd and it honestly did fill up my bucket. Space farming...but does that mean she works for NASA and I wind up living in Florida forever? Oh well, it sounds interesting for sure. (And, to be honest, I hadn't even thought of such a thing existing.)

@taxed4ever what an adventure your in-laws house hunting is going to be. Is SIL Linda thinking of moving as well? Or is she just helping her parents figure this all out? Hope you get to enjoy at least a little bit of your day!

@Betty Jo I hope that you have slowed your cleaning a bit and that you are feeling well! I know that you must be so anxious to have your brother stop by for a visit. How often do you get to see him?

@BrightEyes you have inspired me to make some homemade enchilada sauce. I hope that spending this time with 3 of your kids filled your bucket! And now, I hope that scrapping keeps you feeling good!

@bcgal00 I'm so glad that you were able to get out of the house. Can't wait to hear how the conversation went with the kennel owner. It sounds like this could be quite perfect for Jen.

@Cherylndesigns love those photos of the moon. Braden is a pretty remarkable young man. Tell us again what his plans are for next year. Is he doing the college search thing right now...or is he planning to take another path.

@vickyday I hope that you have a good weekend and can slip in a ride or two.

@pachimac so excited for you and your vow renewals. The diamond is gorgeous. This will be wonderful!

Good morning ladies. Got out with D to the store for bird food and then over to Walmart for a few things. It was too much. I started feeling lightheaded and disoriented. Thankfully, they had a bench so I could sit and wait for D to pay for our stuff and then headed home. I went to bed for a few hours. Ugh...baby steps for sure. Today I want to go to the dog park again but that doesn't require much walking so I should be ok but I will see how I feel after lunch b/c the level of fatigue is unpredictable.

I am enjoying getting back to scrapping, although I wish I had more time to sit at the computer without the fatigue taking over. Hopefully next week will be better.

We've been binging Pretty Little Liars Original Sin. Its perfect for me right now, not too much concentration is needed, I enjoy the mystery and the characters. We're halfway thru and will finish it up this wkend.

I think this is the last wkend in the 80's and next week it starts to cool off. I am so curious to see what fall looks like around here. I would think the colors will be pretty up in the mountains.

I want to figure out a few crockpot dishes to put together this week. D has been living off mostly burgers while I was sick and I need to make easy meals that don't fatigue me too much so I think a few dump recipes for the crockpot would be good. I will check pinterest this morning for ideas.

@faerywings Fingers crossed that you get coffee. Stores around here are spotty with supplies so I have been stocking up on a few things b/c they won't necessarily be in the store when I need them. Dog food is one of the things that has been running out so I now have extra in the garage. I would imagine winter will be even worse b/c if the roads are bad the supply trucks won't always get through. Life in the interior sure is different than Vancouver.

@LSlycord Sounds good about the job offer, fingers crossed for you.

I'm going to go get a few things done before my energy depletes. BFN

Been a busy morning...Up early to get DD#1 up so she could get her car packed and ready to leave. Enjoyed the last couple of hours of her visit. She is finally on her way home to AZ. Hoping she doesn't have to drive through much rain. The rain isn't suppose to hit here until later this afternoon/evening. DSon#1 and wife are driving through rain heading east. Both should be were they are going around 5 PM or so. Will rest easier once I know they are all at their destinations. Yes, the house seems so quiet now that all the kids have left. Need to get some laundry done ASAP as the power co is ask that we curtail electric/power use in the afternoon/evening.

Need to catch up on CT duties and other challenges that have slid since the kids were here. But, first... I need to get my shower and do a few things around the house. Will try to pop back in later today and do personals, etc.

Morning everyone... the ongoing house hunting saga continues. My Gary and myself went through the place that SIL is interested in and she phoned me this morning to say that she was going to put in an offer YIKES!! Big move for her and we still don't know if FIL and MIL will move or not. Its a three ring circus with them! We are trying not to seem like we are forcing them to move, but they will be all on their own this winter with none of us being able to help them out if the weather is bad. If FIL gets an angioplasty like we are thinking he will have to, then he definitely won't be able to drive for at least 6 weeks. He shouldn't be driving anyway, but until the Dr. says he is taking away his licence, he will continue to be on the road. That's scary!!! The realtor is heading up to their place today to give them a quote on what their property will be worth on the market today. It's all about the money for FIL and I know that whatever she tells him, it won't be enough LOL. God give her strength, he is a handful!!! Anyway we are keeping out of it, it will be totally up to them if they move or not. We have put the ball in their court and hopefully they will make a decision soon one way or the other. I have to sign off here right away as we are headed out to get groceries etc. Another busy weekend for us and who knows what surprises lay in store LOL. Sorry no personals today, but wanted to pop in and say hi to everyone! Have a great Saturday!!

Good Afternoon and Happy Saturday to one and all!
DH and I were going to drive to Myrtle Beach, SC today for our youngest grand's 1st birthday celebration. However, my IBS had me up and down all night with stomach issues, so that plan was canceled! Shucky darns! I was looking forward to holding and playing with him! Not to mention photos to scrap! Oh, well! It is what it is! I'll have to mail his gift next week. That will be expensive enough but not as expensive as traveling there would have been by the time you buy gas and meals out. And we were doing the 7+ hours round trip all in one day! Not to mention it has been raining all day and I hate traveling in the rain! I tried to eat some oats for brunch because I thought the blandness would sit on my stomach OK.......not so much! It is sitting pretty heavy right now, so I guess I'll sit the day out in my recliner and maybe do some scrapping. But I'll need more motivation than I have right now to get that done!

@faerywings wish I could say I'm feeling better today......if it's not one thing, it is another with me lately, lol! At least the headache is not too bad today, blasted rain! Anyway, I know what you mean about packing and wanting to make sure you have the right clothes for the right weather and activity! I ALWAYS pack too much, too! I always figure its better to be safe than sorry! Have a marvelous time with your mom!

@BrightEyes so glad and happy for you that your momma bucket is full! I love it when I can spend time with my kids! It does the heart good!

@LSlycord hoping you get the offer you want next week!

@bcgal00 so glad you were able to get out for awhile, even though it ended up being a bit too much! You're getting there! YAY for progress!

OK, that's it for me. CYL

Hello lovelies.

It's 2 PM already and I've gotten nothing done except finish a layout for the fantasy challenge. That's so not my thang, but I had Magical Reality's One Way City already, so I used that. I guess it looks ok. Ava and Adrienne have been here and they're waiting for me at the pool. Oh, darn, I guess I'll force myself to go. BWAHAHA I was hoping they'd want to go shopping, but the pool is calling.

Chris @faerywings you crack me up - wouldn't an app be wonderful??? I make so many typos anymore that I can't even believe it. I have that correction type on and most of the time it catches misspelled words, but sometimes I just type nonsense.

Thanks for worrying about me walking! I was VERY careful - Chuck didn't want me to do it either, but I overruled him. I did see some cool walking sticks the other day and I'm going to go back and get one. One of those little boutiques here had some. They're pricey though and these are made by the Cherokees, which even drives the prices higher. I was feeling chintzy the day I saw them. Yesterday, I wished I'd had one. I usually drive to Adrienne's even though it's close, but at least I don't have to pick my way around the rocks. Did I tell you that Roger's building a sidewalk all the way down to our house? It will connect our house to theirs - he's got it about 1/3 of the way now, but I still have to pick through the rocks to get to it. LOL He's eventually going to put handrails and lights on it. It's as black as pitch out here at night - he put up a tall yard light, but that's all we have.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't stay awake during Poldark. LOL He's SO handsome, too and I love the scenes where he's riding his horse and his hair is flying. LOL

Linda @LSlycord I'm sorry you're feeling rudderless without Syd there and no job atm. Hopefully, you'll get a good one. Braden has said he wanted to be an attorney or a doctor since he was a little boy. He's planning on going to law school at The University of Arkansas. He's so modest and so funny. We only have one huge mailbox for the compound and my hubby generally gets all the mail, then everybody comes here to get theirs. Braden came to get a package yesterday and he had about 5 envelopes from colleges trying to recruit him. he said "I get them everyday" just like ho hum. I reminded him that he was the number one in his sr. class and he just giggled. He said "it's just a title, Cici". I told him it was way more than that. The kid doesn't even study. I told him he might need to crack a book to retain that title and he said he probably wouldn't. I guess he has one kid who's trying to overtake him. He says U. of Ak has a very good law school. One of Roger's sons graduated from there and went right to work in a big firm.

Well, I gotta go - I'm going to the pool. Happy Saturday!

Election day is here! I'm not working. It's been a crazy week, cuz both me and Urban got sick. Urban's been home all week with a cold (not covid). Myself I had a bilious attack the night between sunday & monday. Yay! Should have worked on monday, but I was home. Got better by the end of the week and worked friday and saturday. But since I couldn't do the special education that I was going to do on monday, I can't work today on election day.

It's nice to be home and resting, but I'm a bit disappointed too, cuz it would've been fun to see the election process from the inside too.

The election will be a nightmare. It's so close, and most likely it will take like a week until we know for sure. And then there will be a lot of negotiations to try and get a government in order. Last time it took 138 days for the polititians to agree. I'm almost at the point where I don't care who Winston, as long as we get some stability and less childish nagging from the parliament.

Gonna try and get some scrapping done. Haven't done a layout in ages. I'm just been watching TV and knitted lately. It's my best way to relax.

GoooooOd morning! Happy Sunday. It's damp and chilly today. But-- it is supposed to rain today, a little tomorrow as well as Tuesday- but should end around noon. If everything sticks to the plan, Wed and Thurs should be *perfect* shore days! Whoo hooo!! All hail to the weather gods! Please let the weather stay nice.

Cait and I had fun driving to the FP, we talked about the engagement party and wedding dresses. Then after we got home we spent an hour looking at dresses online. We think we are going to start looking soon. Since it is going to be stressful, better to get some of the choices in style whittled down when we aren't feeling any pressure to make decisions. Right now she likes the ball gown/A-line/mermaid styles skirts and sweetheart necklines. She started showing me some mother styles she thought would look nice for me, she is adamant that I don't look frumpy LOL

FP had coffee!! Yay! I also was able to get some ground beef and hot dogs for Gary to eat while I am gone. I am going to make a meatloaf for him tomorrow. Scott's friend was fishing down the shore yesterday and the boat caught more bluefish than they knew what to do with. He asked if Scott was interested and dropped off a bag of fillets. They can eat them too.
(Can you tell that one of the best things about going away is not stressing over dinners for a couple of nights???)

I am going to work on getting the house tidy today. Anything exciting on your schedule?

Quick one in here for me this morning. I am so frustrated. My PhotoShop is messed up. I have no idea what I clicked but somehow the tool options went away on the side. I was able to get them back but in the meantime, I lost the ability to see all of the layers in the tray on the side. I can only see one layer at a time...I can't stack them. I don't even know how to explain it which is making it difficult to do a google search on how to fix it. I was so annoyed yesterday that I just closed up the laptop and watched football all afternoon and evening.

Big week ahead...on Friday I go to Iowa. I cannot wait. And not sure what I'm doing after that...probably depends on the job offer. That has me happy!

@tanteva so sorry that you haven't been feeling well. Hope you are back on track now.

@Cherylndesigns your Braden makes me smile. Our mailbox was always full during Syd's senior year...that college recruiting is big business. Brian and I were impressed. She didn't care at all. She wanted to be admitted at UF...and she was. It looks like it will turn out to be a good decision. I have heard very good things about the University of Arkansas...a friend's son went there for grad school to the business college. I'm sure whatever he does, it will be good.

@faerywings excellent news on the coffee! I don't think we talked about how Cait's recipes will be recorded...on index cards, in an 8x11 notebook. I need just a few more details! I've already figured out which recipes to share. I think... ;)

@vickyday I'm sorry that you didn't feel like the trip to Myrtle Beach. We have never been there but it's on my bucket list.

@BrightEyes hopefully both kids texted last night to let you know that they made it. I'm quite sure that you never stop worrying about them...no matter how grown they are!

@taxed4ever oh I do hope that if SIL Linda gets the new place, that will be enough to motivate her parents to get to moving. But, you are right, nothing that you can do to force it.

@bcgal00 hope that you had the energy for the dog park. I've been thinking about starting Pretty Little Liars Original Sin but it seems that I have started several all at once so I need to take a break from starting and focus on finishing.

@LSlycord A lot of my pots didn't do so well this year, my mint was all scraggly and now Tif has been burrowing in it with the cooler weather. That is nice when the hubs does what you ask, and *when* you ask. That is always my sticking point, Gary tends to forget what I ask. ;)
Good luck with the job!! If you think you need the structure, then I think it is a great move.
Heck, if Syd gets a job with NASA and you stay in FL for good, just think of all of the cool inside info you would have on space! (I know... I am sure there would be NDAs up the wazoo, but is neat to think about :p )

@bcgal00 Don't make me come up there and nag you about taking it easy and resting and all that! LOL You know if I could, I would and I would make you food.
Have you lived in other places with a more "traditional" Autumn season? I hope you are feeling 100% so you can take your camera on some hikes when the leaves turn.
My supermarket went through a period where it was impossible to get canned dog food. My girls only get a spoonful of wet food mixed with the pumpkin and dry food so it wasn't critical but I worried when it was getting hard to find the dry food they ate.

@BrightEyes safe and easy traveling vibes to your kids- you never do stop worrying about them no matter old they are, eh?

@taxed4ever Is SIL moving with your ILs? All in one place or are they looking separately?
Either way, good luck to *everyone!* PS: You are very smart staying out of it even if it's hard to bite your tongue

@vickyday Are you feeling any better today? Hope so! That must have been very disappointing to not be able to make the trip. Take good care of your tummy!

@Cherylndesigns I saw your fantasy challenge LO-- good job with it!! How was it hanging by the pool?
That is fab that Roger is making a sidewalk to get to the house, be careful getting to it.
Gary and I started to watch The Outlaws on Netflix (very funny!) and it took me the entire episode to figure out who Lady Gabby was. It is the actor who played Demelza. 180* opposite character but now I can't see Lady Gabby (social media star/influencer) without seeing Demelza at the same time. haha!!
Wow, Braden is going to have his choice of schools to attend, hope someone gives him a BIG scholarship!

@tanteva After all of the work you did in the early voting, you aren't able to actually work on Election day? :(
That stinks. Oh yeah, I vaguely remember the govt dissolving last year(?) it is totally different how things are here, it seems so chaotic.
What knitting project are you working on now?

The kids arrived safely from their travels late yesterday afternoon. I didn't get much done yesterday... was feeling tired in the afternoon so read and relaxed in the recliner. Partly it was the let-down after the visits but also had another cold spell most of the afternoon - then got hot around 5 PM. Still feeling tired this morning so will be taking it slow getting back into CT duties and other things. So glad I had leftover Enchilada sauce and guacamole so I had that for supper and fresh watermelon for dessert.

@faerywings I am hoping that the weather cooperates and it is nice while you and your mom are at the shore. It will be a good break for both of you. Great score at FP on the coffee and food that Gary can fix for himself while you are gone.

@LSlycord Really hoping that the job offer/conditions work for you... so exciting. Saw the photos of you with DD... you both looked so happy! YIKES... sorry to hear about PS messing up!

@vickyday Such a shame that your IBS raised its ugly head and you couldn't make the trip. You were wise to cancel as that is a long roundtrip drive all in one day. Hope you are feeling better now.

@Cherylndesigns I vote that you get a walking stick... don't want you taking a tumble when walking over the rocks. So glad to hear that Roger is building a walkway between the houses. Pool time sounds so nice... maybe even better than shopping. :D:p:D

@tanteva so sorry your were sick and missed working on election day. Hope that both of you feel better this next week.

@taxed4ever Wow, your SiL is moving right along on getting the new place. Hope that will spur the InLaws to also get serious about getting closer to both you and her. You are wise to try to not say much to them about it. <<< hugs >>>

@bcgal00 Slow is the watchword as you recover. I have visions of Chris coming up to bop you on the head so you don't over-do! :D I am glad to hear you are feeling somewhat better.

Good morning ladies. I feel good this morning. I took the dogs to the dog park yesterday (first time driving in a month) and although I was a big foggy it was ok, I drove slowly, it is only 5 min from home and only two roads to travel to get there so very easy to navigate. Then I came home, went to bed for a few hours and made a simple dinner. Then back in bed at 7 and slept off and on until 8 this morning. I have never slept so much in my life.

If I can stay awake after dinner for a few hours then we'll watch the two last Westworld episodes. Jen starts her job tomorrow so I think she'll be going to bed early each night b/c she's not used to getting up at 6 for work. I'll watch Bella for a few days until she gets used to the job and then she'll take Bella with her most days. They are going to re-evaluate at the end of the week so they can both decide how to move forward into the next 3 mths if Jen wants to do it. Plus she'll get a raise. She is getting more than she used to get in Vancouver, they are desperate for workers out here and pay better.

I never did get a chance to check pinterest for crockpot ideas so will do that today and hopefully get something going for tomorrow. Today will be a big chicken salad with a bun, easy and quick so that I don't get too tired out and hopefully stay awake for the two shows later.

@faerywings Fingers crossed for the weather for the upcoming trip with your mom. Glad you got coffee. I could not even imagine life without it :)

@taxed4ever Good idea to stay out of the house decision for the in-laws. Hopefully they make good choices and it works out.

@vickyday Sorry to hear that your IBS flare disrupted your plans. I know how that is, my hubs has Crohn's and it impacts his plans all the time. Glad you are feeling better.

I'm going to hop in the shower, do a few chores and maybe get some scrapping done this morning after finding a crockpot recipe online and getting a grocery list ready. D and I will go for a few groceries around lunchtime today and then I'll rest for the afternoon. No dog park today.

Good morning. There's been so much going on here and all over the world that I fear the anniversary of 9/11 has been overlooked a little bit and that makes me sad. We can NEVER forget that terrible day! Okay - I'm not going to dwell on that, but I'll NEVER forget how we all felt that day and the long dark days afterward. It honestly seems like yesterday, even after all these years, not 21 years ago!

Ok, on to brighter things - it's cooled off here - it's only 69 right now - yay!

Chris @faerywings sounds like Cait is getting serious about wedding dresses and I had to laugh about how she doesn't want you to look frumpy. As if you could. Hahaha NO way!! I ended up going to the pool yesterday for a bit. Kay @BrightEyes the main reason I didn't want to go yesterday was that there were people there that I don't know and there are a bunch of guys still working on the pool. I'm not confident in a bathing suit with a bunch of people around. I finally threw on a pair of short cutoffs and a tank top. LOL It's not that I think anybody's looking at me, it's just me being weird. All the "girls" look so cute in their bikinis and I feel so frumpy. Chris @faerywings there's that work "frumpy" again. BWAHAHA I definitely do not have a bikini body anymore. So much for my insecurities. Adrienne and I ended up leaving because she needed to go into town to get some prescriptions, so I rode in there with her. We stopped and got a sandwich and some sweet tea while we were out. Roger's boys and his DIL and some of his grandkids were all here. They live in Arkansas and pop over pretty often.

I'm glad you like my fantasy page. I'm never quite sure about that category - I struggle with that. I stayed awake for 2 hours of Poldark last night. It's getting better and better and I need excitement to keep me awake. We'll have to check out Outlaws.

Chris @faerywings sounds like you're in the final runway for leaving - I'm sure the guys will love all the food you've prepared, and that fish will be great. Glad you found coffee!!! Chuck orders from Amazon now. So far, they've had it. Most things are more expensive, but we can get them. He buys huge bags of kibble for the dog and cat and the cat kibble went up 2 1/2 times this time when he ordered!

Kay @BrightEyes I'm sure you had a wonderful time with the kids, but you must be tired. Like you said, it's the letdown after they all leave. I'm so glad you heard from all of them.

Vicky @vickyday glad your headache is better today but sorry about your IBS. That comes at such inconvenient times!

Eva @tanteva sorry you didn't get to work at the election - I had to laugh at your comments about the government - I pretty much feel that way about ours. Hope you and Urban feel better soon.

Linda @LSlycord I hope you're feeling better today. When do you hear about the job? I'm sure Syd got lots of invitations from colleges, too. She sounds a lot like Braden. He knows where he wants to go and that's it. Yes, University of Arkansas is a great school! He'll do well there.

Well, hugs to all and I'm going to get busy and get some more stuff done.

In 20 minutes the election will close. This is an evening/night that will be spent in front of the TV. It will be so close, and it's not even sure if we will know the winner before we go to bed.

The pre-election routines are a bit different from the routines on the actual election day, that's why I couldn't work today. To be honest, it was said I could make a short introduction, and still work, but I said no. Since we're both not 100% healthy, I thought it was wiser to stay home.

Popping in to say 'hi'.
I have been getting up at 6-6:30 and walking 3-4km everyday for 3 months now. It is finally starting to show in my cardio fitness. Not great changes but positive ones. Today the smoke from the wildfires in the interior is pretty thick. I decided to have a rest day as I cannot breathe that stuff in easily and walking with a mask limits it even further.

Well wishes to all.
